Well here we go back to the grind. Will be starting a new strength building phase. Decided to not do deadlift today as a week off from them will do the body good. We will be doing 5x5 @80% 1RM starting off. Will adjust accordingly as we go from week to week. Will stay at 5x5 for at least 8 weeks on the big 3 lifts. Tomorrow is my last shot of NPP and then its going to be just 150mg of Test per week on my health phase. I dont want to go any higher as I want to see how low I can go and still feel good. I think 250mg of TRT is too much IMO during health phase. I have no intention on gaining muscle in the next 6 months so no reason to go high on dosages. I am trying to gain strength with zero muscle weight gain. Need to make weight for the 100KG class. Most likely going to enter a local comp in mid May to qualify for nationals at end of summer. Ok everyone have a good last few days to the year and get strong af!!!

@Cronus402 plenty of guys are doing 200-250mgs for TRT and sports TRT 300mgs, its fairly common actuallyCrushing it dude!
I agree 250mg is too high for trt.

Had a good session today. Went up another 5 lbs on incline to 355 lbs for another PR. Happy about my progress over the last few months and entire last year. Looking forward to my next strength building cycle. Looking to build strength and recomp. Basically what ive been doing the last 18 months. If I can get down to 230 during my health phase I think I have a good shot at being able to make weight at 220 for a competition just by cutting carbs and water loading. Ive seen stories of Dan Greene losing 20 lbs in a week doing this. I would be happy to do half that. Now I just need to figure out how to insert an I.V. in order to rehydrate properly when it comes to that point. Ok everyone have a Merry Christmas and eat good!!!

Had a really good close grip bench session today. The last set of 5 were all pause reps. Felt strong. Will most likely do the same weight next week and see how it goes. Will most likely bump up the weight when I can get sets of 7 on all 5 sets. Haven't decided yet.
Today was also the last shot of NPP. I havent had any orals in 5 days and masteron ended over a week ago. So starting Monday will only be doing 150mg Test Cyp once per week. I have no reason to go two shots per week as once per week I have felt fine at that level since I started on TRT 18 months ago. I am not trying to gain muscle so I dont care about how much weight I lose over the next few months. In fact I want to lose more weight and I expect to lose some muscle weight over the process. The muscle will get much stronger though. If Jessie Norris can hit huge numbers while weighing 198 lbs at my height so can I. Ok everyone have a good weekend and get strong af!!!

Was a good session today. Squats were super speedy and easy. Had at least 4-5 reps in the tank on all 5 sets. Speed and form is what Im working on and will adjust weights up 20 lbs every other week as long as they are speedy and easy. Will pound the legs on other exercises after the squats to just get the volume overload in. I will be sore tomorrow. Can already feel my hamstrings. Definitely broke down muscle tissue today. Thats a good thing as that will cause growth and strength for next session. Ok everyone have a good last two days of the year and get strong AF!!!

Felt really strong today on Incline Bench considering I decided to train without elbow sleeves for the first time in 5 months. I probably could have gotten out sets of 7-8 on all 5 sets but need to start low so I can increase over time. Volume will increase over the next month as well. Have to really tax the body bigtime so I have a lot to taper off of when I compete in May. I can sure feel the elbow without the sleeve after the 5th set of incline though. Will assess how it feels over the next week and make a decision to keep them off or back on again. Ok everyone have a Happy New Year and dont drink and drive!!!

Had a good day today. Added in pause squats to increase squatting twice a week. Felt nice and easy. Will keep deadlift weight the same for next week and then increase by 20 lbs the following week and then hold for 2 weeks and then go up another 20 lbs. They felt nice and speedy until the 5th set. Fatigue really set in on the last set. My weight has gone down to an all time low of 234 today. Havent been this low in decades. Hoping to see it go below 230 before my cycle start on Feb 15th. Currently on just 150mg week of Test Cyp EP brand. Ok everyone have a good weekend and get crazy strong!!!

Pretty strong day today considering I'm off cycle and just cruising 150mg Test Cyp. Can really feel the lack of recovery being off everything. Have some pretty severe tendonitis rearing its ugly head again in my elbow. Hoping it doesn't travel all the way down my arm into the shoulder. If I was on HGH I bet it wouldnt even happen. Still not sure if I will keep the weight the same next week and up reps by another to sets of 7 on close grip. Will play it by how things feel. I see no point in increasing weight and might just be better to keep weight at 295 and go up each week until I hit 5 sets of 10 or even more. Ok everyone have a nice weekend and get Strong AF!!!

After finishing up pause squats got a terrible pain in my groin tendon so took it easy the rest of the workout and just did one more thing and then off to stationary bike to warmdown. Going to back off on all exercises that dont pertain to powerlifting for the foreseable future. Will do mutliple types of bench on bench day and avoid shoulder work altogether. Very limited bicep work. Maybe a couple sets here and there on arm or back day. I figure ive put enough muscle on over the course of the last 18 months that I can coast through and just get stronger in the main three lifts. Going to try and keep up and do the main three lifts multiple times per week. Its time to get the ball rolling and get the big three lifts up to record levels over the course of the next 12-18 months. Whatever it takes I will break the world record in the Deadlift and the powerlifting total at min. If all goes well maybe even the bench and the squat as well but that will be further down the road IMO. I want that deadlift record of 733 lbs at 220 lb BW. Ok everyone have a good weekend and get strong AF!!!

Today was a well deserved leg deload. With the tendonitis acting up an easy day is what the doctor ordered. Starting to feel much better as time goes on. Should be all gone in the next week or so. No pain today walking around. Almost as if its completely healed up. I am willing to bet the increased TRT from 150mg to 250mg is a huge difference in the speed in which it went away. Ok so today was a lot of various types of bench. Going to stay this way on chest day from now on. No more chest movements, just benching movements. Might do incline bench on the 4th lifting day of the week when we do arms and delts. That most likely will change as well and might do lat pulldowns on that day and avoid lats on deadlift day altogether. Might just do deadlifts, rows, and shrugs on back day and the extra day is for whatever else needs to be done to finish the week. More or less converting to a powerlifting program. No wasted sets or exercises from now on. Everything has a purpose for strength. I will also most likely go sports TRT and add in 150mg NPP to my 250mg Test Cyp during my recovery phase. I can finally start feeling the effects of the heavy lifting and being off NPP now. I dont like it and will do what it takes to make it go away. The next 16 weeks are critical and I must hit my goals of 650 Deadlift, 375 bench, 550 squat on the first powerlifting meet. Ideally I want to hit 675, 400, and 575 but will play it by ear. 673 lbs deadlift was ranked #2 in the world last year in my age and weight class btw. In the 220 class 661lbs was #1 in the world so I hope to see if I can make weight at 220. Ok everyone have a good weekend and get strong AF!!!
Fucking solid brother, I’m very keen to see what further strength you gain going with a full powerlifting approach now. You strength was already extremely impressive! Excited to see what you can do next bro01/17/25

Ok so today was a lot of various types of bench. Going to stay this way on chest day from now on. No more chest movements, just benching movements. Might do incline bench on the 4th lifting day of the week when we do arms and delts. Thanks brother!!! It's funny I'm only two weeks post cycle and I am ready to start hitting the weights again. I get excited when I make big changes to my training. It gives me a newfound amount of energy and excitement as I am sure the change to all powerlifting movements will be well received. I believe I've built up a solid foundation to build strength off over the last 18 months of hard work. I've pretty much trained mostly power bodybuilding style the entire time with only a few months of actual deadlifts and squats. Now it's time to overload the system with squats, dead's, and bench's.Fucking solid brother, I’m very keen to see what further strength you gain going with a full powerlifting approach now. I'd suggest rotating through one move per session01/17/25

My rear delts suprised the crap outta me. I am sure I can go to 250 for sets of 10 when I am deep into my cycle. Its a good thing to have balance in the strength between back and chest. Basically I can do the same weight on the flys on the same machine that you do rear delts. Same thing for bent over rows and flat bench as well. I think that is the key to keeping healthy shoulders at my age. Most people are way overdeveloped and strong in the chest and weak in the back and rear delts. This is why you see people with hunched forward delts. Thats a bad thing.rear delt machine and then finishing with treadmill. That's a hardcore back-to-back training session.
I hope a huge training session is coming.Today a day of rest and eating to help fuel the body for what is to come. This was just the first serving. Ate 1.25 waffles. Lots of maple syrup.

First day back to squats after tweaking my inner thigh area. Still feels a little weak after I am done with my session but no pain at all during. Weird. Anyway decided to hold back on reps and keep volume low on squats until I start up the cycle in mid Feb. No reason to risk anything and just go with some easy reps for now. Will continue to hit the bench hard and semi hard on deadlifts. The body can only recover so fast at this age and I want to continue to be on a linear track over the course of the year so I dont want any setbacks. Went heavier today on squats back up to 405 for sets of 3. Will stay at this weight until mid Feb and then start progressing each week by 10 lbs for 8 weeks until I hit 500 for sets of 3-5 and then start the taper for a 4 week period. Went up to 500 lbs on my barbell RDL today. Was fairly happy with that so at least I am plenty strong in that regard. Ok everyone have a strong week ahead and thank god we have an administration back in office that can get shit done.
Was a good day at the gym. Looking forward to February cycle! Also a big day for America.01/20/25
