When your body runs on ketones versus glycogen, it's two completely different things.
 
Keep up the good work on the fasting. You're showing how it's done.

It's gonna get you some amazing results.

You keep this up by the time, this gets to 50 pages, you will have some amazing results.

I may go longer on my fast.. Have a Dental appointment @12:30
Fast may be 3-4 hour's longer.
Maybe just past the 50 hour mark.
Might as well fast until after for sure

Not weird at all. Once you get into deep ketosis ur hunger goes away. Usually takes 3 or 4 days.

Yes you excrete more than you bring in. Ur body has to get rid of the junk somehow during autophagy

This is why you need to hydrate a lot during a fast. That is the one thing I hate about long fasts. Is having to pee all the time and drink

After I did my work out routine later .. I check it again and it actually went up more it was 80.. So I guess it changes thru out the fast and by demand huh?
It’s a survival tool that homosapiens evolved with to survive long periods of famine. We aren’t grazing animals or cats that need constant protein. Our bodies are designed to fast long periods

Get ketone strips and you will see exactly what happens. A fat person will usually take longer to get into ketosis because of all their excess glycogen and poor diets. They have trained their bodies that way.

I had to get out of a dental chair during a crown before lol 😂 too many protein shakes in AM.

i take a bottle with me in my car so i will piss in it.. truckers do the same thing who have to drive long distances without stoppping.

it actually is a good idea because a lot of fasting experts recommend drinking 2x as much as you urinate. so you can fill up a bottle and then you will know you need to drink 2 bottles and so on

You should keep this going. Refeed and recover and start again.

Usually you need 2 days recovery for each 1 day fasting, so we can work off of this number. Take 1 week off and recover.
 
So eat normal this week.. as in clean good 3 meals thru this week?

clean but keep the IF going with 18/6 mixed in and dont overeat.

I've been closely monitoring my glucose... Especially mornings as that's been when my spikes were always...read all the "dawn phenomenon" stuff.
Now I see it's low or as this morning was 91..
I checked my urine with Stix and it was showing in the 80mg area (dark large) ketone area.. So this would be a clear indicator that I'm still in the fat burn mode correct?
Even with normal range blood sugars or would it need to be down in the 50-70ish ranges?

the ketone strips will detect ketones in your urine. yes it means your body is getting rid of ketones at a rapid rate.

you never want high glucose + ketones, that would mean hyperglycemia. that can happen with diabetics and isn't a good thing, which is why those ketone strips are being sold. in your case your glucose isn't high so you aren't experiencing anything like that.

the diet looks fantastic.

I heard that macadamia nuts are one of the hardest nuts to crack.
 
Chuck steak is a really awesome cut. and I like the cauliflower rice bag that's a great idea with the soup.

you should read up more about fasting and study it quite a bit. I used to be against it but then I started reading about it and it's the best thing ever.

I hope that you can learn a lot more about it and shared whatever knowledge you pick up with the rest of us as well because there's so much out there that we don't know about.

@medengines your glucose will be up and down during the day, and ketones will get used up during the day.

Do this more long term and we will see.

Update..

I'm really feeling differently after just that fasting I did.
Was just telling my wife this morning about it.
I feel as if my body has changed and my aches have lessened. I have "lots" of bone injuries, everywhere with screws/plates.
I'm telling you it has changed!
I'm praying that this ride can keep going!

I think you're on the right track but remember 1 fasting time wont fix it, we should cycle in the fasting more regular for results.

Today I'm planning to go to the 24 hour's fasted and feed at 4:00 pm..
I'm off work.. So be doing some cardio/ yard work and weights.

Stay fasted till around dinner time.

These short fasting sessions have the benefits.. But I'm sure it's the loong trippey "high one's" that really do it huh?!?

in my fasting log in my signature i have charts that show you how long to fast to get different benefits. yes the more benefits start happening at 14 hours and get better as you go. 20+ hours is ideal and doing 2-3 day fasts or longer are something i like to do 3-4x a year

Update..

I'm really feeling differently after just that fasting I did.
Was just telling my wife this morning about it.
I feel as if my body has changed and my aches have lessened. I have "lots" of bone injuries, everywhere with screws/plates.
I'm telling you it has changed!
I'm praying that this ride can keep going!

fasting is about getting out of your bodies way to let it heal things. this is why i originally started doing long fasting because my body was so beat up. plus obviously it helps with autophagy and cell regeneration

I think you will benefit tremendously from fasting.
For one, you will boost your insulin sensitivity that will be huge.
 
I think that fasting is amazing.

And with your physique, you will benefit amazingly from it, definitely keep cutting and using it as a weapon.
 
I think it would be cool if you tried a longer fast once you got used to doing it. Maybe push for a five-day fast and take it day by day.

Almost forgot had Lab work for doctor visit next week.
Think things are going damn well..!
My glucose has never been this low in years.. And it's guaranteed to be better later cause these labs won't reflect the whole picture yet..

Work out routine fasted:
Burpees into 3 push up's run in place count of 20... 6 reps x2
60 jumping Jack's warm up
40 lb dumbells
Squats to overheads 10x3
Bench press 150lb 15 x3
65 curling bar 15x3

Going to eat soon.. I'll be at 22 hour's fasted.
