Veteran Thread 2025 Arnold Classic Thoughts

I watch the Classic Physique. Mike as was a standout, that's the best Logan to date. Wesley was disappointing. He's legs looked
so small. Hopefully can get some quad sweep for next time on stage

Good thread @Npcclassicphysique champ :) I always wondered why I have to search other places for bodybuilding results when we have a huge part of the member base bodybuilding.

Classic boys are putting on a show everyone seems to be coming in conditioned , Wesley just can’t seem to make the improvements needed so a little disappointed in that .

Logan Franklin getting the recognition he deserves imo he is the most conditioned on stage and his posing shape and structure is on point with old school bodybuilding I just don’t think it’s enough to maybe beat Mike
Mike just has such good shape size and seems to be looking like the new classic guy for the division , he does have a very complete package and beats Logan from the back for sure

Mens physique don’t rlly watch so dunno

Very keen for the open boys it’s gonna be a Fkn good battle

The funny thing is I think Wesley is the most "classic" guy out there. I think he needs to focus on coming in a little fuller. His condiditoning hurts his look I think. Can't wait to see Logan!!
 
I think Mike Sommerfeld is looking amazing! Definitely has a great shot at the top spot and I hope he takes it. On a smaller/side note, it was good to see Sam Sulek take home the IFBB Pro Card. The guy works hard, seems to be open to advice from the older heads, and lives the lifestyle to the fullest. Well deserved win in my opinion.

i'm the last person to pick something like that lol. but Mobster is high on Samson. we did a podcast on him a year ago and he is on the right track

I only watched one platform last night. Didn't see the person who won. Saw a few squats and deadlifts near 500lb from the women. One girl deadlifted over 4 times her bodyweight. She weighed around 100 lbs and did like 420 lbs.

Samson was lookin good but legs were weak, big but not as ripped. Derek had better looking legs, very full lats and a good package. If Samson gets is legs in shape oh man he’s winning he’s a big boy too

just curious why some of you don't like derek as a person?

seems like we want to hold these guys to some standard in athletics. and when they do or say stupid things we turn on them. in the end they aren't where they are at due to their intelligence

i know and i think your right, its silly and i should be able to see the difference from the person and the athlete, which i do and can say he definately deserved to win, but as an ambassador for the sport? or would i listen to interviews of him? or is he interesting in any way shape or form? nah, granted most of the high level guys are sort of similar, but again thats personal preference, i much prefer more honest and down to earth fellas, robin strand, beef stu, jordan hutchison etc
