Question for the EVO community… I have a vacation first of the month, 9 days.

Should I just chill and be ready to start the cycle when I get back or continue some sort of hotel workouts?

No BS…besides the dual cardio sessions that

I have a serious sciatica problem that outside of working out my left leg (calf/ankle) starts to throb while standing (last 6 months). It is painful but I manage. I do a lot of stretches and am actively going to PT. Think rest might be good?

Lowering bodyfat and not changing weight is the best of both worlds bro! That's what you want. Retain that good bulk you have and lower that BF%!

I'm with @LevButlerov on waiting til after the vacation to cycle.

Have you thought about any peptide therapy for your calf/ankle?

Been following bro just hadn't replied yet. It's a great log and your volume is dedication. I like how you hit it hard knowing Christmas might have higher calories, great workouts around Christmas.

Nice work reducing body fat but staying the same weight. Looking at your original photo it looks like you are leaner with more muscle.
 
I believe the root cause is actually my L4/L5. Trying like hell not to be cut on and if that’s the case I’m hoping I can wait till maybe September.
Yes for sure. I forgot about your L4/L5. I blew out my left knee 3 times and had arthroscopic surgery on it to no avail and now it's caused lower left back pain/strain in one area and I'm sure it's from favouring the knee.

It's not so much the weights or reps that are what's important. Effective training is built on two things:

1) Intensity/ effort
2) Execution/ methodology.

You need to be conscious and mindful that you're always finding new levels of intensity/ effort and progressively improve your form, range of motion, tempo or isolation.

If you have a coach @Tankie make sure you're sending them your training footage! It is the ONE area of your health, fitness, or physique journey that you can FOREVER improve on!

I couldn’t agree more with everything you just said. We can progressively overload just by slowing down. That’s why we shouldn’t really judge without physically watching someone.

You're running 250mg per week trt right. If you can do that without E2 issues then 250 EQ will be too high for 350 test. That will likely crush E2.
 
Wasn’t feeling any side effects outside of not being hungry at all so I figured why not see if I can get the same effects at 3mg.

3mg has worked well and I intend to stay here as long as possible. I’m only trying to eliminate any unnecessary urges to snack not starve myself lol.

Not sure if you're used to EQ that high with Test but I'd go 350/150, makes it easier to dose that way too if you're doing once a week. Then bloods and adjust from there. Reta at 3mg is nice and don't bother with orals is my advice until after bloods.

Seconded. Even as little as 80 -100mg EQ/ week should be more than enough to put your e2 where it needs to be. Individual response is a factor ofc. Do you have LCMS e2 bloods to confirm?

Putting it that way makes sense! I’m leaning towards @HarleyGuy suggestion of 350/150 for the first 6 weeks and then blood work. It’s a long cycle so I can start out a little lower. Thanks!

To be honest man, something I have in my stacks always is Citrus Bergamot and Red Yeast Rice, I find it controls my lipids perfectly, what dose of fish oil are you taking? I also really believe Astragalus is a good addition for kidney health.

I really like supps and believe heavily in them, but those ones at least will make noticeable impacts to bloodwork and health.

Karbolyn is good stuff it digests fast and is in and out. No bloating.

I’d add
  • Berberine to that list. As long as you’re not insulin resistant it can be great in a bodybuilding context for AMPK (I won’t bore you with the organic chemistry of AMPK) but also help boost insulin sensitivity. For me it’s a bodybuilders staple supplement (one of) at 1+ grams ED.
  • Krill oil. Get some of your fish oil from Krill
  • A good multivitamin for athletes. Methylated if you can source it.

I'm with @Dream123!
Citrus bergamot and astragalus are great for kidney health.
How much fish oil? I would recommend 8-10mg/day
Read yeast rice or Niacin are also great for cholesterol.
Watch how much potassium you are taking. Too much is not good. Why are you taking this? Low on bloods?

How much fish oil? I would recommend 8-10mg/day
Read yeast rice or Niacin are also great for cholesterol.
Watch how much potassium you are taking. Too much is not good. Why are you taking this? Low on bloods?

Potassium was added only to assist in electrolytes. Wife also warned me and said to only take it if it was warranted so thanks for questioning it,

You got all the bases pretty well covered with this stack. Like @Dreamer I have a supplement list a mile long so there's a lot I would add, but it really depends on things like your bloodwork, diet, and cycle.

Something that isn't too pricey that you may want to consider is adding NAC, vitamin C, and vitamin E, taken together on an empty stomach to work synergistically. Great liver and mitochondrial support.

A d2/k3 supplement is cheap and helpful in many ways as well. Its pretty tough to not be vitamin D deficient and almost everyone can benefit from supplementation.

Yea bro stick with the essentials like I talked about and then your list can grow from there. You basically have all your bases covered already.

You'll add supps based on goals or things you'd like to improve in your bloodwork.
 
That's actually not even all of it. I have some more strategically placed in a couple spots so I can take them separately at different points in the day. Its a lot but it works.

Macro goals to start or am I over thinking this?
Currently 180lbs 16-17% body fat.
Focus is recomp.

Was thinking:
2200 calories
200 Protein
200 Carbs
75 fats

good goals and good macros but up protein to 240 and carbs to 220 to start :D

Looks good to me. Personally I'm not a fan of those turkey sausages though. They're high in fat and God knows what they actually put in those things.

May wanna consider some protein pancakes or waffles as a substitute? Add a little honey or make a protein whipped topping with Greek yogurt. A scoop of nuts or a bit of avocado for some healthy fats and you'd be g2g.

Protein at 300g per day would probably serve you better for a recomp as well

Where would we be without the prep. All else fails, it chicken and rice lol.
Pushups and pull ups are just old school workouts that feel so great being able to do I think!
I think the biggest thing with calorie intake is routine/schedule. How you guys are eating 3000 4000 calories is beyond me. Clean calories that is. McDonald’s 2000 value meal doesn’t count.
