Week 2 - Tuesday Update
So far the "bulk" has been going good. I feel stronger in the gym, i feel more energized and my mood has lifted. It also feels good to have a tangible goal. I can put more focus into "beating" last weeks workout, and slowly adding more weight to myself and the excercises
Food
Monday - Untracked.
Started out good but ended up with a morning tea at work featuring home made cappuccino flavoured cake (which I obviously had to sample) then superbowl leftovers (ribs, cornbread, homemade jalapeno poppers and sweet potato pie)
May have been over (probably), may have been under but doesn't matter too much either way to me right now

Tuesday lunch was a home made sushi type bowl. So simple but good!

You guys might not see the value in the untracked days, but its a big step for lots of fitness minded women.
I think alot of girls in the fitness world develop disordered eating from obsession over calorie and macro counting. We all know we need to do it to hit our goals, but at the end of the day, you need to be realistic.
I know im not a competitive athlete, im just a regular person. If you're stepping on stage or a competitive athlete, then sure, you need to be 100% on! But for regular people, its ok to just have a normal day.
Obviously, you need to be reasonable, you cant just use an untracked day to eat like an idiot. You should still try to eat healthy, and as similar to your normal eating patterns as possible.
When you over-restrict yourself, thats when you most likely to break!
Exercise
Monday - Lower - progressed in most of my lifts. Just a little but felt good.
Tuesday - Pull - again progressed in most of my exercises so feeling positive in how things are going!
I'm finding it a good mental push using the app to track workouts. I can see the last week's weights and reps and aim to match or beat it!
Overall, feeling great in the gym!

Feeling positive about getting stronger in the gym and excited to see how much further I can push.
My energy levels have been pretty good too!
Sleep was pretty disrupted last night and with an early start, I definitely enjoyed that morning iced protein coffee
