Beginner here, asking for help + readings

Hello, first post here and newer lifter. Going to be honest, I have a good amount of body issues. Born intersex so I have a feminine face and frame and higher voice, lower testosterone levels (~500 ng/ml at 20 years old) and higher estrogen (55 pg/mL), trying to get huge. Been training for about a year and made decent progress, went from benching 95lbs to 205lbs (1RMs) all while staying at 165lbs at 5'9. I can't lift for the next few weeks because I am recovering from gyno surgery so I've found myself here.

I'm wondering if there are any places I could learn more about steroids and any effects they have. I don't want to risk my health or hairline, and reading logs here I am overwhelmed by all the compounds I'm seeing. Are there any sorts of databases where I could just read more and figure this all out? The logs here have been helpful seeing people's transformations, but I don't see discussions of side effects or risks or what the actual experience is like.

Doctor doesn't want to give me any sort of TRT because I am already technically in the male range of testosterone. I've already had gyno surgery plus I am infertile and small-dicked anyway due to my intersex condition, so I don't see much to lose by considering steroids. Of course I don't want any health side effects, and I don't want to go bald, but I would like to become more muscular and masculine (bone-structure wise, probably too late at my age). Are there any low(er)-risk PEDs that are anabolic but not particularly androgenic (esp with balding)?

Cheers

You are 100% going to be asked for a log.
@LevButlerov can give you a guideline.

In terms of safety and steroids there's heaps of information both on here and online.
If you have particular questions that would help us better answer you.
Would definitely be an interesting log to say the least 💪
Any questions shoot me a dm

welcome to the EVO family :D @LucasTheCatLover thank you for sharing. I've had an intersex client before, #1 issue was high rate of aromatase activity.
Before talking TRT or anything else you need to start a simple pre TRT log so we can actually understand your training history, diet, sleep, recovery, and hormones instead of guessing off one post.
Get a log up now even while you’re recovering from surgery with food, bodyweight, steps, sleep, and bloods, and the EVO family can help you plan TRT and next steps properly rather than throwing compounds at a situation we don’t fully see. 15min of your time to start :D

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Welcome to EVO. You found the perfect forum to get some help with this and that was a great introduction! You clearly have the openness and honesty to get a lot out of a log here for us to learn more details about you in order to arrive at the right outcome you want using the safe and proper compounds including best diet, training and supplements for you.

I hope you take the time to start up a log as per @LevButlerov's guide above and fill in all the details (you can name the log yourself too) so that we can get this going for you.

tell us more about you. How did you end up with gyno? Was it from using steroids or was it from puberty?

Never used steroids before, from the puberty I naturally went through because I am intersex with hormonal abnormalities (plus more going on with internal organs). Ended up with breasts with grade 3 ptosis, wider hips, higher voice, and feminine face with weak jawline and chin.

interesting background, don't think we have had anyone with your history on the forums before - and welcome to Evo
Are you trying to achieve an even more masculine look? I am assuming you present yourself as male.
Your hormone profile will probably look quite different to the average person - and I imagine you want to avoid anything that might shed your hair? Of course it could also masculinise you more (like any female that uses a decent amount of roids will get some masculine features and a lower voice etc).
Ask away here we are here to help
Also as is standard get some photo's up with your face blurred so we can understand your base more.

So I literally watched a documentary on the Intersex subject this week. One question which may well be relevant is was were you 'treated' with any sex meds

Okay thanks for clearing that up
It’s a intersex thing causing it makes sense

Bros, in your situation we're going to be able to help you with things like diet, training, stuff like that but when it comes to your medical issues, that's something for the doctors to help you with.

If you're not comfortable with your doctor and the direction they're taking you in, why not find another one? @LucasTheCatLover I think we make the mistake of trusting what a single doctor says but we don't get multiple opinions.

well if you want to learn about these steroids, you're in the right place. Check out the other logs on here and consider doing a log yourself. Also check out the podcast. You'll learn a lot from those.

That's good information. Now we know what we're dealing with here. At the end of the day the best thing you can do is get a log going. This way we can at least guide you on the things that we can help you with and leave the other stuff to the experts.

One of CEO's best ever posts.

We're aware of issues when women use male hormones and equally when guys struggle with estrogen. Here, with an intersex individual, ANY hormonal issues would be magnified. CEOs suggestion is 100% on point. You MUST work with a doctor who is aware of your aim AND is willing to work with you as much possible

Bros, I definitely think it's good advice.
