First cycle

Hey guys about to start first cycle any advice?

I have been lifting for 4 years

Right now im actually 128 lbs because 2 seizures broke my back twice and had a kitchen fire had to get a hand graft. I just got back into it last sunday.

First cycle is gonna be Dbol and test.
Thinking of starting
-20 mg Dbol morning & before workout at night
-200 mg test/week pinned monday & friday

My question is could i take the dbol to test waters for 3-4 days, and start pinning this monday

If your just coming of injury/break in trainin gthe last thing you want to do is cycle gear. Get back into it for 4-5 months and get your joints/tendons used to moving loads again and then consider gear. This is a recipe for reinjury.

Thanks for the reply, The way i mentioned it looks like it happened not long ago
But its been a year since last injury but iv been working out on and off. My lower back will probably hurt a bit for the rest of my life lol
But how would you rate the cycle mentioned? And about testing waters with dbol first

I also started working full time again about a year and walk all shift so im pretty well retablished
 
I would get to the gym consistently minimum 4 times a week to the point where you know what your one-rep max is on most lifts naturally. Ride those workouts naturally for a while and keep testing your strength. Don't let taking the gear be your motivation to get into the gym that often or to lift hard. Do this for at least a year.

My son has the same stats as you, age, weight, his height is 5'9" and I'm getting him eating like a gorilla and lifting natural since he's 18 and likely until he's 25 until I even consider coaching him on PED's.

The gear will work best for you in terms of you keeping your gains as long as you start it at the right time. Once off, you will need a PCT because your balls are going to go into an arctic winter hibernation and your HPG Axis will be fucked. You're 22 and want to keep that in check. I'm 48 so I get to run what I want with zero fucks about my HPG Axis and am on TRT for life.

Having said that and about your cycle, Test at 200mg is a dose I'm impressed you're seeking from someone your age as it's modest and you're not trying to go balls to the wall right away. The dbol is another story, 40mg/day is a lot on a first cycle and your estrogen is going to skyrocket. I'd lower that to 20mg pre-workout only.

Remember this is your first cycle so you will hyper respond and you want your body to be ready for that. 4xWeek in the gym naturally for a while, get your own motivation which leads to discipline without the gear, research diet and supps, and get to your max strength level naturally.

Start a log on here from day 1 from natural to cycling to PCT, and ask the mods how to and they will guide you. You will be welcome with open arms and be taken care of.

I meant 10 mg morning and 10 mg at night after work so yup 20 mg lol

Your cycle is fine. Just make sure you have an AI on hand.

And regardless of recovery your diet is obviously piss poor. That needs fixing before ANY cycle (in 2-3 years) gets started

I think I'm in this camp. Something is off here. Can we have your 1 rm for bench, squat, and deadlift to give us all a frame of reference for your physical fitness?

For example, are you benching 1.25 to 1.5 times your bodyweight and 1.5 to 2x your body weight for squat? Or your back might be too jacked for squats, so just give us an idea here or some pictures.

EDIT: Just for frame of reference, I'm willing to bet that most of the men on this forum have probably been grinding away with workouts anywhere from 3-7 days a week for decades without breaks. I'll go through phases myself, bodybuilding, powerlifting, olympic lifting, triathlon training, MMA, etc. But I've never not done something where I'm not working out 3-5 days a week. So when you say you've been working out "on and off" the past year, it raises questions.

Yes it will not take long to get where i was at so when i was 145 lbs my one rep bench was 185 lbs, deadlift never been a fan never felt in my lats, and squat to be honest is probs wesker than my bench

Yes it will not take long to get where i was at so when i was 145 lbs my one rep bench was 185 lbs, deadlift never been a fan never felt in my lats, and squat to be honest is probs wesker than my bench

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.
To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

No way. Should you use steroids? First off your way too young. And second off, you're coming off an injury, very dangerous to use steroids.

Seriously @Reivax a log from being natty to building up to your natty peak to then cycling and coming off with PCT would be an epic log and there's not too many like this from beginning to end. You could really help others and the mods of EVO will guide you 100% along the way and you'll be super dialed in on everything. It really would be worth it in the long run. I know at your age 'long run' isn't something that matters but picture what you think you'll look like and feel on your proposed cycle now then do it this other way and multiply that look and feel by at least a factor of 20. The gains will be a statistically significant permanent amount of muscle as well doing it that way.

with all your injuries it would be crazy to use steroids. anabolic steroids make injuries worse. get healthy 100% first then worry about steroids a few years from now

at 22 years old and with your stats no way should you touch steroids. its a no go

Personally was coming off an injury and at your age I would wait a few more years before trying steroids
