Hey, looking for wisdom. New to this forum and looking to learn. I'm 46 with years of off again and on again power lifting and strongman training around my career. I finally find myself in a place that I can concentrate on consistent training and want to put on some serious mass and strength. I'm 6'1" 285lbs with approximately 30% or less body fat. I've read a couple of threads on other sites before finding this great place of knowledge. I've seen things like this:

Cycles
For your bodyfat I wouldn't recommend any cycles without us properly dialing in your diet and training first and really getting into GLP-1s

If you want real real help like truth, we need to know more about you, how? you need to start a pre cycle log basically a lifestyle log in a new thread, that talks about your diet training cardio sleep history and more and we can guide you into a full cycle from there, takes 15min to get it up and 5-10min to update, and without a log no one can really help you with honesty.

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

Agree with @LevButlerov here. 30% BF is not a good place to start a growth cycle. Your gonna be 35%+ by the time your done.
REecommend you star a log and get the BF down below 20% before even thinking about using gear.

you need to forget steroids man. just focus on cutting down first. you can get a hold of me for a 1 on 1 and we can go over all of this. it starts with DIET first. until you fix that then nothing else matters

get a log going. we want to see your training and diet. that is going to be more important then steroids. also you should look at the GLP1's

the deca is a good option. but NOT for you here man. i would toss this entire plan out the door and start from scratch. get a log up

I posted a log as requested, the 30% is a really rouch guestimate as I've never checked it with calipers. I could get some and get a more accurate idea. My body usually tightens up pretty quick with a month or two of solid training.
