First day back to squats after tweaking my inner thigh area. Still feels a little weak after I am done with my session but no pain at all during. Weird. Anyway decided to hold back on reps and keep volume low on squats until I start up the cycle in mid Feb. No reason to risk anything and just go with some easy reps for now. Will continue to hit the bench hard and semi hard on deadlifts. The body can only recover so fast at this age and I want to continue to be on a linear track over the course of the year so I dont want any setbacks. Went heavier today on squats back up to 405 for sets of 3. Will stay at this weight until mid Feb and then start progressing each week by 10 lbs for 8 weeks until I hit 500 for sets of 3-5 and then start the taper for a 4 week period. Went up to 500 lbs on my barbell RDL today. Was fairly happy with that so at least I am plenty strong in that regard. Ok everyone have a strong week ahead and thank god we have an administration back in office that can get shit done.
@RoidRage69 Legit work so far dude........

Had another good session with multiple types of bench. This is going to really build the strength up over time. Went up 1 rep per set on flat bench from sets of 3 last week to sets of 4 this week. Will keep the weight the same at 315 and just keep moving up in reps as long as my body will give it to me. I will take what I can get!!! Still on 250-300mg Test Cyp and after tomorrow will be 150mg NPP for the week. Might bump it up to 225mg per week starting next week and get the third 75mg shot on wed. I forgot to take yesterdays shot so thats why I am only at 150mg for the week. No biggie. Food is around 2000-2500 cals per day. Non lifting days is the lower and lifting days the higher. Basically not much more than when I was on my diet. I feel as though I am at maintenance right now. Scale is flat so thats good. 3 more weeks until the cycle begins!!! Ok everyone have a nice end to the week and get Strong AF!!!

I feel like this is the right track for now also! I know benching in the squat rack on shitty narrow bench and shorter for me is not ideal but I appreciate the sacrifice you make so I can just Reach the bar! Time to let’s do this soon!! Let’s look at the other clubs to see if same bench racks or if I can reach the bar on the pegs! 💪🌸

Had a fun day today. Did rack pulls for the first time in years. Went up to 675 for a single. Could have done another but I was concerned about breaking the rack as it was shaking pretty hard on the earlier sets so was trying to be careful. I think I could go over 700 easy on these. With my way of thinking I believe that whatever I can do on rack pulls I should be able to do off the floor in a 8-12 strength building cycle with a taper. I fully plan on hitting 675 deadlift in May possibly more. Ok everyone have a nice weekend and get Strong AF!!!

Everybody should be able to rack pull quite a bit more than from the floor. You’re only working the top half. So the hardest part is from the floor. IMO. He did a Great job and body now has felt the weight so pretty exciting! 💪🌸

i bet you would give mobster and BM a run for their money on that lifting.

that is some big weight.

Here. I think you can definitely get over 700 and even 800 eventually.

You keep getting stronger and stronger.

that's a very good job. There's so many plates on that bar. It's hard to believe you were doing that much.

Thats my plan. I truly believe as long as I can continue to train relatively injury free 800 lb deadlift is reachable in 2026. I'm starting to do work on my weakest links. Doing glute kickbacks and then going to add in hip thrusts soon. I believe that everything revolves around your weakest links. Once you resolve and target those the sky is the limit.

Great job. And that is a nice rack for sure.

You are big time, strong.

Ok that’s true. That’s my man! Smashing it. I was happy with my 365 even though my grip straps sucked ass. I’ll get 405 next time!! Maybe just chalk and do over under grip like regular fir just one rep.

Went to a different gym today part of the 24hr franchise. I think we will be doing most of our training at this one from now on. Has way more squat racks to use and the flat bench is better for the wife to be able to unrack it. Just went up and did singles today on squats. I dont want to wear out my tendons and ligaments right now since I am not on a big cycle and am just trying to maintain what I have right now on low cals. Its only been 4 days since we did super heavy rack pulls so the body still healing from it. Will up the volume when the cycle starts. Singles are easy on the body so will just stick with it and then move up to tripples on the top end of the sets when the androgens kick in allowing more output. Ok everyone have a good finish to the week. We will be back on Friday for some heavy benching. Everyone get Strong AF!!!

Its nicer than the one we've been at the last year so were going to be going back for sure on bench and squat days. Might even do deadlifts there dont know yet. Most likely just go there and get the extra energy that a new gym always gives you.

Its a good thing I dont drop the weights. I am quieter than most women. I dont yell out anything in fact I cringe when I see men yelling out with a heavy weight. No reason for that. In fact yelling out you loose strength because your not bracing properly. Very little air should be expelled on the positive of the rep.

Weights coming off nicely!! 236 is insane from where you started 💪🏽💪🏽

i'm surprised the 24 hour gyms have heavy duty equipment. i was under the impression that they wouldn't have a lot of things since it was risky to let people train on certain things without anyone present

Powerlifting if you drop wts on purpose or throw the weight down like on a deadlift they can redlight you. U lose the lift! Cross fitters Olympic weight style lifting they have the rubber pads built into the platforms for squats and Deads.

They have to have equip. That appeals to many diff types of lifters. They haven’t caught up to powerlifters yet! Wish they would. 💪🏋️‍♀️🌸

Had a pretty good bench session today. Was pleased how well I did on close grip bench considering I was pre exhausted from heavy incline bench. I feel I could probably get out sets of 5 with 315 if I do it first in my program. Hoping to get my close grip bench up to 365 for triples before the competition in May. Ive gone up to 365 for 1 rep a month ago so its possible with the next cycle starting in two weeks. I fully expect my strength to go up 3% each week on cycle for the first 8 weeks as I will most likely increase food to 2500 cals per day from the 2000 I've been at for the last 8 months. Ok everyone have a great weekend and get Strong AF!!!

Head an ok session today. Felt heavy. I kind of like the training split I have going now. Not really a back day, but a deadlift day and then the next day is usually a Arm/delt day but that has morphed into a everything we havent done day like lats and biceps or tries and some delts. Basically a bodybuilding day for us powerlifters. Most likely going to do a big refeed today and tomorrow. Might start up on the IGF-1 on Monday. Since I am not taking HGH I need something to speed up and build muscle and tendons. Thinking about starting cycle early and bumping the test to 500mg and keeping NPP at 150mg. I have a ton of EQ I can always add that in. I know that some on here use it year round in a lower dosage. Its not like I go up to huge blasts, I only go up to 1100mg at most usually around 1000mg total so I dont oversaturate things like most on here. Ok everyone have a good weekend and get Strong AF with me!!!

I feel like I always need either hgh or igf-1.
My recovery is shit and either of them drastically improves recovery and helps kill tendonitis and repair. My body loves to train with big boy weights so I need something to keep me going.

A+++ update.

600lb conventional deadlift only around the corner for you @RoidRage69. I have a feeling we will see that number from your very soon!
Did 605 in Mid Dec. Attempted 635 end Dec but only got 2 inches off floor. Yesterday was an off day most likely because we did 675 lb rack pull last week and still haven't recovered.

I thought I had seen you get it before, and I don’t think the barbell has recovered from that rack pull either hahaha your strenght is always very impressive bro!

Hell your off days are better than most peoples on days man. You kill it!

Good job bro

I feel like I always need either hgh or igf-1.
My recovery is shit and either of them drastically improves recovery and helps kill tendonitis and repair. My body loves to train with big boy weights so I need something to keep me going.
@RoidRage69 have you ever tried peptides for recovery? You think HGH is more effective in recovery?

@RoidRage69 Great update bro........

Had a good session today. Been 6 years since I've done speed bench. Pretty good way of getting the fast twitch muscle fibers to activate and not cause any damage so its an active recovery day. Should make a huge difference in the bench when it comes to maxing out in 14 weeks. Also bumping up the test to 500mg this week with 225mg NPP. Going to start eating more on lifting days. Hoping to get close to 3000 cals on lifting days going forward and keeping down to 2000 on non lifting days. Ok everyone have a nice week ahead. I am getting excited as hell to get this cycle going.

wow that is tough, mobster and I have both been through that over the past couple years.

Nice job

F**k. My head would go
Luckily my Fitbit was off in my bag wrist wraps were on. My phone was on silence didn’t see call. Was done squatting. Went to bathroom saw I missed call from my mom’s roommate kinda a like significant other non romantic. Needless to say, didn’t finish the workout! Later on He said he cooked her favorite, Steak and potatoes the night before. So that was nice to know. 💪🌸🙏🏻

I got the call myself early in the morning around 5am but was expected at some point soon.

funny because that night i could not sleep which is very rare for me and i was up super early. almost as if i knew that would be the day i got the call.

hopefully wasn't anything too surprising for you and you were already mentally prepared for that call

also had a call in the middle of the night of another relative who had gotten rushed to the hospital after a heart attack. had about 30 missed calls the next morning since i don't keep my phone near me at night. what sucked about that one is the hospital didn't even tell us anything for a week and one person would say something pessimistic and another would give us hope. that would the true torture going a week without knowing anything. its something we will have to deal with at some point in our lives and a huge bummer.

Had a decent session today. Pain doing flat bb bench so I am going to stop doing it and just go with close grip for now as the shoulder feels much better the closer I position my hands on the bar. Incline also has no pain at all so will be doing those as well. I get very good carry over from the incline bench to the bench so I am not worried. I will still do a regular bench on speed bench day though. As long as the weight is light it doesn't seem to bother it so we can do that for now. Thanks again for all the nice comments about the mother in law. We are doing ok. Just the long process of all the legal crap now for the next few months is going to be stressful. Ok everyone have a good weekend and get strong AF with me!!!
