This Insomnia is hectic!

As the title suggests Im suffering from severe Insomnia Atm, Had maybe 6 hrs sleep in 7 days, been going on for a month now. Struggling to stay Awake or fell asleep. Cant do anything at this point, a freaking walking corpse. Tried different sleeping supplement formulas, ZMA, Ashwagandha, Mentolin Etc. + prescribed sleep pills such as Temazepam, nothing works. I only have Insomnia this bad once before over 10 years ago where same thing happened out of nowhere, lasted 3 month then totally disappeared and i was fine after that. I never figured out what caused it and why it went away, but i suspected it got to be hormone related but never got E2 checked due to lack of knowledge back then. For me i noticed the only sides when my estrogen is high is when I'm extremely sleepy literally can sleep anywhere when sitting down. But then it wouldn't make sense why i have insomnia that one time if my Estrogen is high? I'm going to get my bloods done next week, what else should i look out for besides all the usual stuff like thyroid, test, bloodcells, liver, kidneys, iron levels etc? I been doing 250mgs of test E pretty much all year round never had a problem till now... i wonder if this is actually hormone related or somethings wrong with my freaking brain? Do you guys have any suggestions besides sleep hygiene, blue lights etc etc? anything to take or try? o also want to add i took some Adex 1mg try to see if it gets better, nope did nothing, Im more sleepless now if anything.

my man i don't think this is a situation where you can go and take supps or try some odd things. this is something very serious. you will die from lack of sleep and it will have long term effects on your brain and health. you need professional help on this as this is a severe case from what you are describing
 
Get your bloods done before you start throwing things at it. I’ve had sleep issues in the past. Non hormone related. It usually starts when my sleep pattern gets messed up from traveling or a late night out. Once your rhythm is off it’s sometimes hard to get back on track.
Are you falling asleep good and waking up in the middle of the night and can’t sleep?
Do you use drugs or alcohol?
Have you had any sort of sleep study done?
Is your work or personal life stressful?

I don't think this is sleep hygiene or behavior related, even if have insomnia normally the next day my body crashes i sleep easily. This feel like my brain is wired on non stop. I don't feel tired at all but at same time i feel like garbage. like my brain cant be shut down. I only able to get few hours if i mix cocktail of supplements and sleep pills, maybe 3-4 hrs then if im awake, im awake no chance of getting back to sleep.
I don't drink at all and only drug i'm on is Test E 250mg once a week.
No sleeping study done but i do use a cpap so no sleep apnea.
Life isnt stressful at least atm so no not stress related.
No racing and rep thoughts funny nuff just cant switch off...

you are in the domino effect stage. your brain is so off from lack of sleep that it is making you not able to sleep. that is why at this point its too far gone and you need to find a sleep specialist

I have done a couple things in the past. There is a product called cerenity pm that is a mix of melatonin and some other stuff. Works pretty good and you don’t feel like you can’t get up in the morning. I’ve also tried other sleep aids but found this one to work pretty well.
Another thing that has helped from time to time is having a “mantra” or something you can repeat/focus on while laying there. It’s helps get you mind switched off and refocuses you. Pic something that is two short sentences. Repeat it and focus on that. Def helped me. Also going to bed same time and getting up same time every day whether it’s the weekend or not. Sleep patterns I’ve learned are very important.
Most of my sleep issues with insomnia come from either work stress or I’ll just get a thought or a song in my head that just repeats over and over. This is where the mantra helps.
If all else fails you could also try 5mg/thc an hour before bedtime.
You’ll get it figured out. Just gotta find what works for you. Good luck.

This is a good way to look at it. Once your sleep pattern is off it just cascades onto more and more bad sleep.

Basically I want to get full bloods tested and make sure i don't miss anything insomnia related, or anyone that think i should add anything i missed from the list?

set up a good sleep plan. hopefully you will feel better. @Jingajinga you should get your log going and take it one day at a time

you need to start a log. this way we can document everything. also i don't think you mentioned your caffeine intake. that will keep you awake

bros you should stop taking a million things. start from scratch and log it. seek pro doctor help on sleep help
 
yeah i will log once i get a blood test done, but honestly not much to log.
42 years old, been training for 25 years.
Currently sitting at 118kgs 6 foot.
Don't drink don't smoke, don't even touch caffeine or any preworkout.
Don't count macros or cals, eat watever my wife cooks. properly somewhere around 2500 to 3k cal a day.
drug wise just test e 250mgs a week.

Bodybuilding have pretty much been my whole life. Competing, count cals day in day out, train like theres no tomorrow, basically lives in the gym , cocktail of supplements and of cause anabolics but never a big user compare to todays standards. That was my past life for 20 years. Now that Im in my 40s and body full of severe arthritis that life have come to an end. Last 5 years have been taking it easy. train when i could, eat whatever, no supplements cept for protein and occasionally creatine. decided to stay on 250mg of test e to try to maintain bit of size. Never had any issue with anabolics cept for E2. Can never tell if its too high or too low.

I always think E2 root of all my sleeping problems, when its high i get super sleepy, when its low my mind goes to overdrive. i just dont understand why this happens this time.. haven't touched any Ai for a long long time. well no point guessing will get a blood test this week and sort it out and thank you all the sugguestions.

yeah i will log once i get a blood test done, but honestly not much to log.
42 years old, been training for 25 years.
Currently sitting at 118kgs 6 foot.
Don't drink don't smoke, don't even touch caffeine or any preworkout.
Don't count macros or cals, eat watever my wife cooks. properly somewhere around 2500 to 3k cal a day.
drug wise just test e 250mgs a week.

Bodybuilding have pretty much been my whole life. Competing, count cals day in day out, train like theres no tomorrow, basically lives in the gym , cocktail of supplements and of cause anabolics but never a big user compare to todays standards. That was my past life for 20 years. Now that Im in my 40s and body full of severe arthritis that life have come to an end. Last 5 years have been taking it easy. train when i could, eat whatever, no supplements cept for protein and occasionally creatine. decided to stay on 250mg of test e to try to maintain bit of size. Never had any issue with anabolics cept for E2. Can never tell if its too high or too low.

I always think E2 root of all my sleeping problems, when its high i get super sleepy, when its low my mind goes to overdrive. i just dont understand why this happens this time.. haven't touched any Ai for a long long time. well no point guessing will get a blood test this week and sort it out and thank you all the sugguestions.
@Jingajinga bro try meditation it will help relax mind....starting a log will allow us to help you better and it will also help people out there with similar issues...... it will also keep you motivated to follow routine for better health and sleep..........

Did you end up getting a blood test?
Could be worth getting fasting glucose and morning cortisol done as well tbh.
Even prolactin could be good to get done, rules out any 19nors potentially contaminated in your test which can fuck sleep (trensomnia)
You should be able to get this blood test done for free from a GP if you describe your symptoms and what u want tested.

@CookieMuncher it could be glucose or cortisol, but many times prolactin, cardio, breathing issues and actual water retention come into play.
@CookieMuncher you cycling now, whats your gear plan?
