Machine Preacher curls: 3x10 110lbs on the machine
Standing cable curls: 1x15 50lbs. 2x15 70lbs

Triceps:
Body weight dips: 1x15 2x12
Tricep pushdowns: 3x20 130lbs
High pully tricep cable ext: 3x16 125lbs
One arm cable pushdowns: 3x15 45lbs

Fat bar forearm curls: 3x25 20 lbs on the bar supersetted with 3x15 Fat bar rev forearm curls same weight.

Leg press: 3x12 450lbs

Leg press calves raises: 3x15 270lbs full rom.

Lying leg curls: 3x12 135lbs
Seated leg curls: 3x10 150lbs

Stretches post workout.

Had a double beef burger today with keto bun and some peanuts.

Not eating anything now, will have lunch tomorrow.
Gonna take a shower n probably just relax when home.

Shoulder session had a lot of good variety, presses with both dumbbells and machine gave you heavy work and then all the fly variations really filled the delts out. Adding the lengthened rear delt fly was a smart move, it’ll help build that back cap you’re chasing. Neck curls are a nice touch too, not many people actually train that. Wings in the air fryer sound like the perfect post workout reward.

Yeah I was watching a wrestling match and this guy had a neck like those pissed off dinosaurs and I was like damn! I WANT THAT. so I added some in.
And yeah even thou I feel like my rear delts are coming along, I felt the need to add in lengthened movements.

That's the entire country. Go up to Northern Alberta in Native country and let me know how you fair lol. You're neighbours to the north have the highest murder rate per capita in the country over in Winnipeg.

Toronto has always been a grimey city. Not for the weak. Crime has always been high here, and that's just the stuff that gets recorded. Cops don't know a fraction of what's going on here.

I have Blink cameras fucking everywhere and if you listen to my podcast guest appearance on www.evolutionary.org/podcasts you’ll understand why I have weapons (won’t say what kind), knives and bats strategically placed throughout the house. I’ve got enough water and non perishables for 3 months and a generator with enough fuel too.

When the shit hits the fan don’t come knocking on my door saying sorry you were right can I come in now? LOL. My girlfriend says it’s sexy so she’s perfect for me.

And so far so good no Amazon porch pirates for me yet. Maybe it’s my security label on my door that says “Protected by FAFO systems” LOL

If I had a choice I'd definitely move to Alberta like you. Wish I could. Way better province in everyway. Hoping to eventually get to the interior of BC or the West of Alberta far far away from people up in the mountains.

If I had kids I'd want them growing up in Ottawa for sure. Seems like a really safe educated city. Lots of cultural diversity, good government jobs. It's a great city that way. But when you're a dude in your 20s looking to party oh my God it's the worst lol. My buddy went to school out there and usually we just hop over to Hull to have some fun. I remember we went to one nightclub in Ottawa and it was the lamest club I'd ever been to in my life lol. That was the last time we partied there

I made a decision to move to Alberta after all the BS that started in toronto during 2020-2021. Moved here soon after. I am not gonna say it's a huge difference but one thing I found was people are ALOT more open to discuss and hear you out rather than people in the eastern places who don't want to listen and just label you as something you know.

But, I do miss toronto, even thou I was never in party life nor was I someone going out doing anything extra, I just liked how there was always something going on and you could just sit on a bench by the shore and it felt good. Ottawa on the other hand, i didn't like it but maybe because I never went to study there and had no one to hang out with you know.

But yeah man, I just hope this country gets better and people start to realize where this is heading.

Today's workout was a Back day:

Neutral grip pullups: 3x10 (no assistance)
Barbell rows: 3x10 155lbs
Chest supported Iso lateral row: 3x12 180lbs
One arm Dumbbell rows: 3x10 80lbs
Flat lying barbell rows: 3x8 135lbs
Seated cable rows: 3x12 185lbs

Treadmills were occupied so I went on the stairmaster: 15 mins

Tired from the week of work, left work late as well. had to keep my self on the cardio but couldn't for long. Not that good of a workout today, dragged myself thru it.
 
Had a good nights sleep and got out to get to the gym, traffic was super backed up and so i came down to the apartment gym.

Chest day:

Treadmill 3 speed 30 mins.

Flat machine press: 3x20 110lbs 3x10 180lbs
Flat dumbbell press: 3x12 65lb dumbbells
Incline dumbbell press: 3x12 65lb dumbbells

Tried to maximize the sets and reps as much as i could. Goal was to hit atleast 150 reps with good tension which i did.

Nice adjustment using what you had, 150 reps with presses at those weights still puts plenty of tension through chest. Flat and incline with 65s for solid sets keeps strength and volume up, and the treadmill warmup rounds it out. Good session considering the apartment setup.

yeah man. chest is still pumped and there was a kid there asking me for tips and said he's seen me there a few times and wanted to always tell me that he loves how i look and my chest and shoulders is how he wants his. Ended up giving him some tips on his workout too, so a good day I would say

Weights look solid, hammer curls with 45s for 30 reps is crazy volume and that’s why the arms are pumped. Triceps moved up in weight too, pushdowns at 150 and skulls with 70 on the small ez bar hit hard. Cardio split pre and post for an hour total keeps the cut moving even if the scale stalls at 91-93kg. If you’re not hungry after that much work a fast won’t hurt, just make sure when you break it tomorrow you get a full meal in with enough protein to recover. :D
The weight loss, we need to either go with retatrutide or fasting again asap.

I am also able to push alot of weight so that's good too, tells me I am stronger than ever, never before this I have been able to hammer curl 45s. For Skull Crushers, if it's a fixed weight bar, I have hit a max of 95lbs but that's not the goal.

I am planning to cook ground beef tomorrow. will eat that with some keto bread thrown in there for the carbs and beef will serve as fat and protein.


What is retatrutide? A google search doesn't tell me much.
Fasting we can try again, stick with OMAD and low carbs. That has worked in the past but I am open to other things as well so I do not feel depleted and hungry all the time.

I am also able to push alot of weight so that's good too, tells me I am stronger than ever, never before this I have been able to hammer curl 45s. That’s real progress, arms finally catching up to your chest and back makes the overall look way more balanced. Hammer curling 45s shows you’ve built legit strength, that’s not beginner weight. Skull crushers with 95 on a fixed bar is strong too, even if maxing isn’t the focus it shows your triceps are keeping pace. Strength plus size both moving up is exactly where you want to be. But remember cardio is #1 for you. @zucchini

Yeah, and that's where I want to be. Strength and muscle size both going up. we surely need to bring fat down so yes, that's why I made sure I get in a total of 60 mins cardio in regardless of the incline.

I will read up on the thread and let you know what I think and if I have any questions.

Tired flexing but that was a given since I was doing alot of cleaning and stuff around the house and yesterday's Jujitsu rolls gave me aches and I was extremely tired. Heading to bed in about 30 mins.
Weight is pretty much the same tbh but the body feels a bit tighter. I think I gotta get the keto strips again and pull it in! Arms are definitely bigger, shoulders are a bit more defined, chest and back look broader
Hope to get atleast 8 hours of sleep in.

Yeah, and that's where I want to be. Strength and muscle size both going up. we surely need to bring fat down so yes, that's why I made sure I get in a total of 60 mins cardio in regardless of the incline.

I will read up on the thread and let you know what I think and if I have any questions.

That’s a solid leg day. 104 floors on stair master right out the gate is nasty, legs were already primed. Extensions at 150lbs then straight into hack squats at 160lbs for 3 clean sets, no wonder the 2nd and 3rd felt locked in. Pressing 450lbs for 12 after two sets of 360lbs shows your legs are building some serious strength.

Calves work was perfect too, 270lbs on press raises full rom then those 21s with 70lbs standing burns deep. Curl split hit both seated and lying so you covered hamstrings from both angles, 150lbs and 135lbs are good pulls. Respect for finishing with treadmill, most guys don’t touch post cardio after that much volume. That’s the kind of session that forces growth.

Iso lateral chest presses: 1x6 270lbs (shouldn't risk my shoulder like that but it was a good attempt), 3x12 180lbs on the machine
Cable flyes: 1x17 60lbs each side. 2x15 70lbs each side.
Pec dec: 3x12 190lbs

Treadmill: 15 mins 3 speed 0 incline + a few stretches (on the treadmill as i post this)

strong back session, good mix of rows and pulls, especially knocking out pullups unassisted for sets of ten. that tendon pain sounds like biceps tendonitis, pretty common when volume is high on pulls, so back off weight a bit on movements that aggravate it and add some direct forearm and rotator cuff work to help it calm down. treadmill before and after keeps conditioning solid too, just make sure recovery is there so the tendon can heal while you keep progressing. :D

On semaglutide give it a week or 2 to see how your appetite and digestion react, start slow with meals and spread protein through the day so you don’t feel bogged down. Keep logging both training and how the sema feels so we can track progress properly. :D

Now this could all be cause i had much caloric dinner last night (70 grams cashews and 70 grams almonds with one protein snack). I didn't even feel the need to eat that protein snack at work today.
I did, however, feel sluggish today. I remembered Lev telling me to eat protein so i don't feel that way but i just didn't... dont know why.
If i feel hungey, i'll do is put some protein powder in some milk n swallow that + get my fiber in for the night cause why not.
See how i feel again tomorrow.

Thankyou for this. I have to add more workout to triceps thou, I think maybe add a close grip bench or something so I don't rely on cables as much.

I will drink some shake right after shower and will eat my protein bar tomorrow (or maybe make chicken and take it with me to work ) before the gym so I can hit legs good.

So today is Wednesday, 2nd day after (3rd day into) the Semaglutide injection. Still didn't have any cravings, woke up a bit bloated and had a strange urge to go to the bathroom but nothing would come out, until around noon i had a lil constipation/loose motion ache-ish in the tummy, went, relieved myself a lil and felt fine.
By this time i was hungry but no cravings, felt like my body needs food but no urge for some shawarma or something. Had two of my protein bites and went on with my day.
At 4 went to the gym, after the cardio and 2nd set of hacksquats, i felt like puking and at the same time felt a bit hungry too, but pushed thru. Keep my hydration up and kept it pushing thru the workout. By the time i was dome my leg press 3rd set, i felt extremely nauseous and had to stop and go to the bathroom and regroup myself. I felt like i shouldn't do any more work at this moment as it wont be wise.
I am just resting in the car rn and will be driving home in 15 mins or so... What should i eat when i get home? Some chicken breast? Air fried Skin on wings?
