straight protein shakes are a thing of the past for me. I was supplementing 100g a day with that crap.

I believe it was Steve (really leaning towards Stevesmi or Lev that said “get off that shit”. So now I do:

Cup of liquid whites
3 whole eggs
Banana
Cup of oats
Scoop of vegetable powder (yeah I know, in time….).

Calories: 765

Protein: 57g

Carbs: 89g

Fat: 21g

I do that 3 times a day

Also do 2 solid whole food meals a day. Yes I drink 3 meals a day, it’s delicious and so simple. Satiety is fine.

Roughly 2,500 calories over what I was doing when cutting and STILL recomping!

i agree that real food is more alpha then shakes. seems like at my gym ever 20 year old skinny dude is drinking shakes all the time. its annoying to me @Chad8539

@Chad8539 definitely see how you do without the protein shakes you might find yourself a lot more energetic and you got a lot more energy. I know I can't have a protein shake before the gym. I'm very laggy when I work out.

I 100% agree brother! I throw a scoop into one of those concoctions once in awhile but that’s it. It’s single handedly the best advice I’ve received on here. Advice that I’ve actually implemented and made a difference.
that is great you are taking some tips and trying different things out. that is how we get better. steve is the absolute magician on these tips and tricks people don't even realize. @Chad8539

Your arms are pretty solid already man, honestly if you dropped some body fat theyd look insane - but, try adding things like narrow grip pulldowns, underhand pull ups, dips and close grip bench to hit them indirectly but still hard

A few boys arent the biggest fan of training arms hahaha, if your not keen on designating a session toward them just top them up while there are warm and getting stimulus on other day — chest/tris back/bis. Just throw in even 1 exercise if you can and just hit them with some big drop sets or rest pause sets. Then it doesnt seem so bad at the tail end of a session.

Huge difference in this pic vs. your avatar pic bro you're already gaining some great shape. If you NAIR all that hair off it will give the appearance of about 2-4% less BF I bet!

Standing ez-bar curls as heavy as you can with good form is good for biceps. Cables are great too because they give tension at each phase of the movement.

You can bring those arms up even if you don’t enjoy training them, start by doing dips to get the triceps to grow and Arnold bar curls, slow and with negatives.


Keep protein around 220 to 240 and carbs steady so recovery stays high and those arms will start filling out.

I do chest+arms and back+arms - about 6 sets all up for biceps then 6 for triceps - then it doesn't feel like too much time but they are getting around 12 sets a week each. Certainly made my arms grow and increase in vascularity.

Thanks brother and yes I also do that split. I just wind up tuckerin out with around 3 sets per. I just need to nut up or shut up.

Had to shave to mitigate this stuff on my chest. I’ve had it for 5 years off and on despite just going on cycle for the first time this April. It’s actually a carbuncle but the added hormones have AWAKENED IT!

Anyways someone said I’d lose some body fat percentage just from shaving and I believe it to be true 😆. 219.2 here.

I don’t know where to go from here. I’ve just been eating a very clean 4-5,000 calorie diet.

Was planning on a 4 week mini bulk then start a January cut. Try to bump it up to 6k calories I guess idk. I can’t stay away from the cardio. I like it too much.

Looking good there man. Good size and visible abs, I would say 16-17%? wouldnt be hard to get a few percent down, but your also in a good spot to grow hard too

Me personally i dont believe there is any quality development in a mini bulk. Any quick weight added isnt normally the weight you want and if you do put on a heap of muscle tissue quickly it has normally come with a health risk from using heavy unnecessary Ped's. Not effective like a mini cut would be when needed.

Id have you at 15-16% and honestly if it were me i would just keep cutting from here amd set yourself of for a solid growth phase next.

You could look to recomp as @LevButlerov
Said but buckle up and dig deep if you do. Its a longer process and requires a lot of commitment so it stays on line and doesnt drift too far either side and too much over correcting.

I think you’re right on this friend. I’m thinking even if I push another 1,000 to 1,500 calories, I feel like my body would just keep doing what it’s doing now; slow, steady recomposition. @Allupfromhere Like you said, a quick bulk at this point would probably be all but worthless. I’d rather keep the cleaner look I’ve built, fine-tune the nutrition, and let the composition shift naturally over time. I’ve learned that patience in this phase usually pays off more than chasing calories for the sake of it. Appreciate the honesty and perspective, man, it really helps keep me locked in on the long game! Kind words as always, thank you sir!

I agree with @Allupfromhere but I suppose it depends on your preferences. I'm in a similar boat to you and am recomping. My ultimate goal is to add a lot more mass though.

Weight is around 205 fasted in morning

Maintenance calories are around 4,500

In late November I suffered a torn right rotator cuff but minimal it was, until it wasn’t.

It’s been hell but through rehab and peptide therapy, it’s coming along. Absolutely threw a wrench into cycle just as it’s ramping up. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oats, rice, raw eggs, beef, fish, chicken, greens, yogurt. Getting 180-210 grams of protein through food, 25- 50 powder.

I got bloodwork done today, I feel great but we’ll see 🤭.

140 test c for about 6 weeks now 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Before that was 600-700mg test, 100mg tren. 16 weeks total with tren first 4 and last 4. Very minimal Arimidex needed and only for a week or two.

I’m still in my first anabolic year but I feel like I’ve learned a lot about myself. A lot of suffering through mistakes. But learning nonetheless.

Will update with blood results soon, hope they’re not too embarrassing. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣.

@Chad8539 very common to go through that sort of injury man. I tore my shoulder as well. It's a very common injury when we weight train. Just got to work around it and be smart.

This is a perfect layout right here. @Chad8539 the food looks incredible. I especially like the different proteins you're getting. Just be careful on raw eggs. Make sure they don't have salmonella.

Bros, that's a nice setup. I like the different foods that you're eating and I like the cycle setup. Definitely learn from your mistakes. The first couple years you use steroids, you're gonna make mistakes. That's normal. Just learn from them. @Chad8539
 
This is a perfect layout right here. @Chad8539 the food looks incredible. I especially like the different proteins you're getting. Just be careful on raw eggs. Make sure they don't have salmonella.

@Chad8539 why are a couple of your numbers off, like your TSH for example? Something going on with your thyroid?
@Ulter yeah it’s been an issue. Runs in the family too. I have taken T4 in the past for my body to convert it to t3 and that worked to stabilize them but tsh just a bit high usually. I attribute it to high stress situations I get into.

Weight is around 205 fasted in morning

Maintenance calories are around 4,500

In late November I suffered a torn right rotator cuff but minimal it was, until it wasn’t.

It’s been hell but through rehab and peptide therapy, it’s coming along. Absolutely threw a wrench into cycle just as it’s ramping up. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oats, rice, raw eggs, beef, fish, chicken, greens, yogurt. Getting 180-210 grams of protein through food, 25- 50 powder.

I got bloodwork done today, I feel great but we’ll see 🤭.

140 test c for about 6 weeks now 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Before that was 600-700mg test, 100mg tren. 16 weeks total with tren first 4 and last 4. Very minimal Arimidex needed and only for a week or two.

I’m still in my first anabolic year but I feel like I’ve learned a lot about myself. A lot of suffering through mistakes. But learning nonetheless.

Interesting, it could be a thyroid issue. It's genetic probably.

In the male reference you're high and out of range ie: <29 pg/ml
You are however quite in range for a female ie: 30< female < 400 pg/ml
So to answer your question it's this reference here ➡️ Male vs. Female pg/ml

Having high T levels and Free T doesn't mean you ought to or need to have female levels of e2 in your body. But you do you, if you're happy I'm happy. :p

Not something I can personally stomache. But good choice of fish as it’s low in mercury compared to others

Goals: Seeing where my right shoulder takes me. In the states we have to pay $3,000 in therapy sessions (which are finally complete) before we can even get an MRI. I’ll be getting it done very soon.

Without getting into it too much, shits been going on since November with it and I think it’s tendon stuff cause my right side grows way differently (especially chest and bicep) and everything is just weird idk. Goals are unknown but I strive for glory 🙏🏻

Thanks man, eating clean is a ridiculous passion of mine lately. I should probably get a cheat meal in but didn’t even falter on Easter Sunday.

Remaining positive is assurance that I will not be denied glory.

I gotta also check some of y’all’s logs out. Not enough time in the day and I like to get involved.
 
Something amazing happened when I was doing some regular physiotherapy this morning. I stumbled upon my right pec that has always been undersized and painful for months. I just attributed it to the fuckin shoulder pain thing, 🫠

Pain was great, prayed for peace, started pressing the tennis ball into it and the tendon in the armpit and opened up my entire right pectoral.

I’ve never had this much function over it and I can’t believe it’s happened. I’m 41 and have lost a lot and failed a lot, this win is a huge boost.
