Day 1 - 2026 Build Block #2
And just like that…. We are back logging the next phase of my 2026 fitness journey.

8 week recovery phase completed. I ran a test only cycle @ 35mg/day (250mg/week) and took out all other PEDs, including GH, with aim to restore health, system recovery and flush out excess water and inflammation accumulated over the first stage. Scale weight have reduced and settled circa 90-91kg (from 95kg) during this time.
Bloods taken. Coach and I are content we are in a good position to kick off the next course with aim to slowly grow towards the 100kg mark, whilst keeping fat accumulation to an absolute minimum. Yep, this means diet is again the more important element of my program and needs to be dialled in and consistent, minimal variables, to successfully achieve this goal.
Training load will need to be managed closely. My Hs-CRP is elevated which we believe is due a number of lifestyle factors (and very little down time):
Many lessons learned last phase of which we’ll try to improve on this time round. Nutritional intake will be kept to an absolute minimum surplus required for slow meaningful gains. Carb cycling and cardio will also be utilised to aid digestion, reduce bloat and manage water/inflammation.

- Work / life balance. Business owner doing 50-60 hours consistently each week including regularly interstate travel schedule
- Family - Father of 3 kids and daily commitment to their every need (school, sport, baby duties etc)
- Sleep - Regularly compromised due to working hours, baby (broken sleep) & early mornings to fit in gym
- High performing athlete - this is more than a hobby for me. I set high expectations on myself and ensure all 1%ers are hit within my absolute control.
