Had a chat to a guy in his 30’s with both legs not working properly and one arm missing half its muscles, drives and electric wheelchair to the gym and on two crutches he was grinding. Helped him stack and put away some weights and had a chat, he was grateful for the help but strangely no one else bothered to help this bloke.

The Land Cruiser looks right at home on the beach there. Pretty cool how you can just drive out there with it. Here you'd get in trouble over some dumb environmental rule or whatever.

That's an awesome drone shot with the dolphins. Its funny how we never realize how close we get to stuff in the water until you get a birdseye view like there.

In Jamaica once I stepped on a pretty big ray and when I got outta the water and looked in it was like the sand was alive. There 3 foot rays everywhere. I had no clue I was completely surrounded cuz the sun was low and I couldn't see in the water at all.

- I hit tri/bi’s twice a week - I do them with my chest and back workouts. Mainly because my arms were so long it took a long time to get size on them - and they recover quickly so I thought why not hit them more often. Plus they Mae em look good in short sleeves

I know what you mean about long arms. Takes a lot of mass to not look small. I made the mistake of following the 'anti bodybuilding' movement at one stage. Don't do direct arm work, don't do splits etc. Glad I saw the light and got back to normal training as my arms, shoulders etc were suffering.

yep the long limbs can be frustrating - i.e. curling more weight than the short guy next to you that has arms that look massive compared to you!

Shoulder training looks really good. Just don't overdo it. @rizzlekdizzle also, a good idea to warm up, so I'm glad you did that. Looking really good on these training sessions.
 
@rizzlekdizzle always nice to have a nice sushi lunch. I'm not a huge fan of sushi, but I know a lot of people are. It can be super healthy as well.
That is some nice looking salmon!!! Bro, go to a fish vendor, they are in every town and city, get some sushi grade salmon, soak in lemon juice and slice that shit thin and gobble it up!!

A few weeks left in this cycle now - and yes like I said seem to be stalling at by bench-press - any ideas?
I have been having a bit of elbow and shoulder joint pain and I think that's why its stalling - certainly when I took deca I didn't have
the joint issues but perhaps thats one of the difference for me with EQ vs Deca.

Also had a proud dad moment of taking my 15yr old daughter through her first workout - made sure not to go too hard. We used machines but made sure she was aware of the movement and how important a full ROM is, and also the importance of noting down what sort of weight you are doing. I put together a bit of a full body workout for her - will do it again tonight with some variation on the machines used.

if you have joint pain its hard to really move up in weight, if you go too high you cause potential injury
with bench, do you have a spotter? this way you can do negatives and drop sets more

on the deca vs eq issue, yes deca for sure will lube your joints a bit, while eq might dry you

I don't have a spotter - perhaps I should just lower the weight a little, and concentrate and form and a few more reps to get the tension in.
lower weight, tighten up form and add negatives and partial reps, negatives+partial reps is going to be a win @rizzlekdizzle

That's awesome that you got your daughter to come train with you. Nothing Iike finding more bonding activities to increase the time you get to spend together. Building healthy habits at the same time is a double win.

When I get staul out on bench press I've had success focusing on other movements for a little bit then going back. I think cable crossovers helped me the most really focusing on a deep stretch and big contractraction.

@rizzlekdizzle your body is telling you that it needs you to back off so I would drop the weights back down and build consistency at a lower weight and then you can focus on coming back down the line.

Keep up the good work on this. @rizzlekdizzle it feels good to finish out a cycle. If you're stalling at a particular lift, don't panic. It's pretty normal. You don't improve in a linear fashion.

@rizzlekdizzle when you feel like you're stalling, that's a good sign. It means you really know your body. The truth is most people will stall at some point. It's important to take a step back and relax, give your body some deloading, and then go back in. You should start hitting prs again.

I would say listen to your body and take your foot off the gas. You'll definitely improve, don't worry. Then it's really beautiful. I agree that you're spending time with your daughter doing this. She will really appreciate that as she gets older. @rizzlekdizzle

A few weeks left in this cycle now - and yes like I said seem to be stalling at by bench-press - any ideas?
I have been having a bit of elbow and shoulder joint pain and I think that's why its stalling - certainly when I took deca I didn't have
the joint issues but perhaps thats one of the difference for me with EQ vs Deca.

Also had a proud dad moment of taking my 15yr old daughter through her first workout - made sure not to go too hard. We used machines but made sure she was aware of the movement and how important a full ROM is, and also the importance of noting down what sort of weight you are doing. I put together a bit of a full body workout for her - will do it again tonight with some variation on the machines used.
