chest day baby!

was a late session due to family reasons. Body was feeling tight today from the cardio and core session yesterday but once i got the blood flowing through the chest there was no turning back had good pump on the 55kg flat db press. Incline flys went smoothly no issues. But seem to struggle on the decline flys could not hit my usual max weight i think i ran out of gas due to being too late in the evening and had so much daddy cardio to do pick up kids from school, food shopping, washing before my session took the energy out of me. Still got the job done finished the day off with a nice steam sauna at home its one of those 1% in my opinion i reckon its worth every penny in investing. Not a gym sauna you dont want to catch some nasty bugs off other people.

55's on DB bench is massive mate!
thanks brothers im aiming for the 60kgs dbs at my gym its a goal of mine to press 10reps before christmas

heres my 1% for recovery and light cardio at home for me i feel a huge difference if i dont sauna regularly, mainly in breathing and mental clarity and good sleep. I recommend to anyone who hasnt got one its worth the money in my opinion

warmed up with stretches and hanging from bar get the shoulders ready. I added in another movement to my superset for the side lateral raises the extra reps and motion was a real burner shoulders were on fire after the pump. Struggled with the shoulder press machine only could do low reps. Slapped the rear delt flys no issues at all i wish my machine could go higher in weight ill have to do more db rears on the bench. Added in some shrugs 50kgs was my limit today. Finished off with face rope pulls had to pick up kids and go work. Another great session.

@FluffyBunny this is a really good one. Shoulder days can definitely be fun and definitely low reps is a good idea. You don't want to overdo it.

Rowing pulls are a good way to finish off a nice training session. Great job also dealing with the kids and working. You're doing everything that you need to do on a daily basis, and you're getting it done with no excuses. @FluffyBunny

Keep up the good work man. @FluffyBunny doing those stretches with the bar is fantastic. I would definitely be stretching and doing plenty of warming up on a shoulder day.

Definitely a good idea to finish your workout with some good stretches. The hanging bar is a great way to stretch things out. Also, reverse it where you grab the bar from behind and then put your body to the ground. That is a great way to stretch out the delts. @FluffyBunny

Hey bros

leg day! i only got in 3 major movements today hack squats, leg press, and bulg squats. Work has been busy this week didnt get a good sleep due to work and kids. I went in did the best i could this week will have to be another deload week could not go heavy just repped out the weight i could manage to hold safely. I was around 40kgs off my pbs on hacks and legg press but i did have a awesome pump on the leg press got deep and slow and controled form just felt right. the bulgs i got greedy and for some reason i thought id finish heavy...tried to do my pb of 80kgs on bulgys but i could not finish the reps i could feel i was burnt out had to stop before i tore something. Ill rest up tonight and hit the rest of the legs tommorow with a split workout.

Db rows mixed up the form with standing rows and bench rows to get high and low . Felt strong in the lat pulldown had good slow control. Single arm cable rows were same form. finished the session off with bicep pump mixed with cable curls and standing db curls. Daddy cardio playing kick ball with my kids.

If you're doing 110 / 120 on an exercise as your top set, what is the point in starting the first set so light (20 for the lat pulldown and seated row) (particularly if it's not your first exercise)?

your spot on brother i dont actually start at 20 anymore i need to update my app i usually start at around 35-40kg your right its a waste of energy i started just doing 3 sets now which works blends with everything else. Ill update the app now
 
yeah bro out of all the movements for back chin ups are the challenge for the session everything else seems easier.
chin ups are the best :D

leg press 240kg
bulg squat 60kg

had a good leg session unfortunately had old mate there that kept talking to me while i was trying to do my session held me up and lost my pump lol ill finish my leg movements off tommorow. Im going to move my bulg squat away from the hack and leg press its too taxing on my legs i couldnt finish my last set tonight i had to rack as my legs gave way. Hack and leg press went well though no issues. Will have a split big session tommorow.

hey bro what i like to do atm is one week i go heavy as possible with low reps the next week i deload stay light and rep to failure. Trying to force the musce to grow with heavy weight than get cut up with reps

Back day brothers i struggle today i have a forearm strain from bicep curls i managed to get through all my movements but deload Weights on most of the movements just went for the pump and stimulate the muscles with slow control

Usual warm up routine mat work hanging from bar. Wont be doing any bicep curls or arms this week ill swap out for cardio and core. I added in some extra movements tonight with high rows in video attached and low rows light weight

how bad is the strain? did you bpc tb into it?
 
Yeah i just put in 1mg tonight into my forearm where the pain was it only hurts when i go heavy its not too bad bro its manageable ill rest if it gets worse ill keep yous updated the next few days
should help :D
 
so the injury happened with bicep curls and i aggrivated it more with back day the chin ups and the pull movements in the rows

bit of an update so yeah the forearm is still healing it is still tight and tender the pain transfered from the top of my forearm to my bicep then the next day went back to my forearm lol ive been putin in 1mg everyday of klow into the direct site of pain definetly not my favourite spot to pin lol

so untill im my forearm is fully healed ill just be doing push weights ie chest, shoulders, legs and cardio ill skip back and arms till my arm heals up. We push on

sunday
was cardio

30mins on the steps followed up with a sauna for quicker recovery.
