juddy

72 hour timeout.
Hi all, I'm new to TRT and Evo. Been lurking for a bit, but have really found the forum to be supportive and a bit of banter that's great!

Over the last 12 months, I have been looking into TRT. Living in Australia and not wanting to pay though the nose at a clinic I've educated myself and I am doing self-managed TRT. My general goal is to lose weight and build a good base, with the injuries I've got I'm finding work harder as I get older. Lower back fractures limit my mobility and pain is a constant factor. So there will likely be a lot of legs, core and more compound moves and not a heap of arms if you follow. I have a PT at my gym, we have two sessions a week with her having more of a flexible approach to each session

Current Stats:
Age: 41
Weight: 87kg
Height: 178cm
Training Exp: 2009 -2012 Weights and Running - Really got into running for stress relief and general fitness.
Injuries: 2004 ruptured bladder, lower intestine and hernia repaired after BMX handle bar penetrated my lower abdomen | End of 2011 broke transverse process L1 to L4 left-hand side, mild damage to neck and upper back. Was unable to run after this injury and still cannot run pain free. |
Medications
: Tampantadol 50mg SR each morning | Duloxitine 90mg daily | Ramaprill 5mg daily | CBD & THC 1000mg each evening |
TRT+
: Test E 250mg/ml @ 200mg per week | Primobolan 200mg/ml @ 200mg per week | Anavar @ 25mg daily | Cialis 5mg daily |
On Hand:
Arimidex & Aromasin
Supplements:
None - Was thinking about "Chikin Feed" and a Multi V. Thoughts and Ideas?

Cycle:
Injections EOD Sub Q | Orals Daily

Test E 250mg/ml300mg
Primo 200mg/ml300mg
NPP 100mg/ml100mg
Anavar - Daily 12.5gm50mg Pre Workout
Cialis - Daily5mg

Weeks 5 to 10300mg300mgN/A
Weeks 11 to 15300mg300mg100mg
Week 16200mg200mgN/A

Diet: I've no idea - I know that I am in deficit as I'm losing weight and have been since June - Was using ozempic but have this at a low dose of 1mg a week to suppress hunger. Since starting to lose weight I have been eating frozen meals and changed my snack foods to Beef Jerky and Fruit.

Bloods: I do monthly (or at least try to) bloods, pre TRT Testosterone was low at 3 and 58 free T. Likely secondary hypogonadism due to 13 years of prescription opioid use. I don't do recreational drugs and rarely drink these days. E2 is high, but so is my BF%. Only sides I have are low EQ and mild depression at the moment, but bloods are due tomorrow and will action this as needed after the results are back.

@juddy awesome log right here!

the only issue i have is NPP and test
they tend to increase appetite you may want to stick to just Primo instead
Agree, I've got Sema on board that should help.

I'm still not sure on the NPP myself, but figured it would help towards the end, maybe that's what I should have saved the Anavar for.

bro let's get you losing weight
have you thought about using any tren?
I've got Tren Ace & E, as while reading up I'd read that Tren reduces muscle catabolism when in a cal deficit.

But I've decided to wait until I've gotten a bit more experince under my belt.

I see a lot of guys using Cialis
is there anything in particular that you're looking to get out of it
Im happy with it, but my Heamatocrit was trending upwards, so was looking to drop Anavar based off advice that this can be contributing to it.

definitely get your diet on point
that's going to be important
Yeah will be looking at it more, been loving salad and smoked salmon this week. Its been 40 c (104 in freedom units) and 95% humidity a few days this week so cold lunch and dinner have been great options.

@Npcclassicphysique champ Not a lot to add just yet. But here is a photo and yesterdays log.

I'm planning to do two post a week, dropping my food, workout and any updates. And, I'm going to post monthly photos, however I just need to take some at the gym or get the Mrs to snap one for me so it's full body.

Highlight of my week?

Thanks Brother, was from a Cafe in town. They make a Rubin Melt, omg such a great lunch option except I usually don't finish it.

Im a big fan of test and primo i use it alot and have seen good results off of it.
I've been liking it, super subtle but it's there, also only 4-5 weeks on Primo so

Originally I introduced Primo to help control E2, trying to find a balance and avoid AI if I can.

@Noah Wixx What are your thoughts one rations to Test? I've read 2:1 when at lower doses and 1:1 at higher... but im keen to hear your experiences and thoughts!

Sunday Update:

Evo fam, nothing to add here. Had a chilled weekend, activity was just walking the dogs.

Been suffering from some aches and pain like over got a virus that's being fought off... fingers crossed its gone tomorrow as I have a busy week.

Photo added: Not the best but shows you I was skinny fat for a while and having lost more than 25kg since June I feel fine with where I am.

This is a turning point for me, and although when I see myself I feel ashamed at what I look like I know this is temporary and I've been so damn dedicated to managing medication and loosening weight I know at somepoint I will look back and be very proud.

Shirts were XL and tight, the clothes here were broght on the trip... pants were 36inch waist.

@juddy nice to hear about a Rubin Melt , havent eaten one in years ;)

I like 2:1 with test:primo but really depends how E2 prone you are. How about 200mgs testoserone 100mgs primobolan 50mgs masteron stacked on top of TRT, we can test this out to see how you feel, or can go higher but likely an Ai would be needed.

|Monday 4th Nov 2024 Cycle Update|

Start of the week, reviewed blood work and decided to remove Anavar for the time being due to Low SHBG, high LDL, low erection quality and zero libido the last 7 days. Will continue at 200mg Test E and 200mg BiopoweRNA Primron for the week, then moving up to 300/300 if sides improve. NPP still on the cards.
Called PT to make bookings and discuss moving from BW exercise to weighted or machines.

BiopoweRNA Primron 200mg/ml

A sincere thanks to @ez2plz at Houseofgains101 for hooking me up with BiopoweRNA Primron 200mg/ml. I reached out as I was having E2 issues and wanted to introduce a compound other than an AI to mitigate increasing E2 levels, we discussed options and ended up going with two very pretty vials of BiopoweRNA Primron. I ordered 2 vials and have done a
review of the product along with bloods. Always happy to share more if you have questions about it.

Full disclosure, these products were paid for in full, I'm not sponsored and not interested in freebies, my goal is to improve myself while also offering the community an open honest review of the products I use with bloods. I've got no affiliations with any vendors, no alt accounts.

@juddy posting updates is always a positive start bro, Id like to work on your diet with you.
can we do mcdonalds but cut the bread and fries? just leave the chicken? lets say 2 of the patties and the salad?
and what other meals in play?

how are you with fasting? have you done it before? minimum the 16/8 IF fasting window

Thanks, McDonalds is not something we have regularly, it was just a treat for my son after basketball. Maybe 4 times a year.

But I hear you! And thanks, for taking an interest.

My meals are fairly set in advance, except lunch. We do weekly shopping and I usually plan breakfast and dinners in advanced. I'll put together a list if you like. But frozen dinners to make up about 50% of my dinners, not ideal, but they are pretty healthy so have linked their website in my post in case someone wanted to see the macros.

@juddy

I actually didn't eat the bottom bun, just the chicken lettuce and Mayo with the top bun only, plus maybe 2 handfuls of chips. It's been a learned thing to do this, I usually remove starchy carbs where I can within reason.

Will make sure to include that, it was a rough week and I should have been drafting as I go, but I didn't. Besides my dog passing there is life changing levels of stress going on this week passed.

@juddy

I get Hangry during fasting when not using semaglutide. I could try it, I guess, but what would the benefits be?

@juddy looking back this looks like a fat loss cycle. I think meals and foods are priority for discussion here.

For the fasting, hangry situation is temporary, I would try to do basic intermittent fasting 16 hour no food, 8 hour feeding windown
give yourself time to control the situation and you'll see huge body and blood sugar changes

Admittedly I'm still trying to drop a few KG.

And yes, I'd agree the goal currently is weight loss with muscle preservation, eventually leading to a proper cycle to build lean mass.

Let's talk more about diet as that's my biggest concern, I'll do up our fortnightly food order into meals.

Will try this 8 hour feeding window too, just not sure I'll eat enough on sema in 8 hours.

Feeling good thinking about things today. Reflecting on my current stack and sides:

Current Stack:
  • 200mg Test Enanthate | Silverback Labs
  • 200mg BiopoweRNA Primron 200mg/ml | From Houseofgains101, review here Hit up @ez2plz
Current Sides:
  • Low Libido
  • Poor EQ
  • Very mild pimples on back
  • Mood low - But that is consistent with my week.

Updated Stack: Weekly Dosages administered EOD SubQ and Shallow IM
  • 300mg Test Enanthate | From Houseofgains101, Hit up @ez2plz Review and bloods pending for this, will complete the month and get bloods start of December.
  • 300mg BiopoweRNA Primron 200mg/ml | From Houseofgains101, review here Hit up @ez2plz

I will continue EOD SubQ but starting December I will be doing IM and comparing the two months to each other.

@juddy dropping bodyfat can be complex or easy, depends how we approach it.
Looking towards your meal shares, we can check your macros and meals and it will be more clear from there bro.
We should try 16/8 IF to start off.

stay away from fast food and junk food that's the first step here

yeah definitely check out the other logs and see how your fellow Aussies are eating they're eating much healthier

I'm more concerned with your diet than anything can you keep posting updates for that

that's cool I like your honesty that you paid for the products yourself

I would do a much shorter feeding window maybe 4 hours instead

don't worry about muscle preservation your body is always going to want to shed body fat first before muscle

your body evolved to get rid of body fat first unless you're less than 2 or 3% body fat you're not going to burn muscle but you will lose water out of your muscles there's a difference

Hey bro .
I noticed comments concerning your diet so I had a look through at some of what you’re eating .
I’m currently focusing on weight loss , and I’ll tell you now , losing fat isn’t as simple as a math equation of calories out versus in .i tried that for years .
carb timing matters , the type of fat your eating matters , the type of protein matters .
Your gut , if that isn’t in top condition you’re fighting an uphill battle .
See that fried food you eat ?
That oil is poison. It causes inflammation. You get a hormonal response that will almost halt fat loss .
Cortisol levels will rise .
Plus throw some carbs in that environment and your also getting an insulin response at a time when you are very likely insulin resistant.
I’m no expert . People are probably laughing at me giving advice but when it. Comes to food and how your body reacts ……. I think I’m very well experienced in that field . Message me bro , we can have a chat , I’ll tell you about my digestive and gastro history, and how after 14 years I think I may have found a solution to my problem through food choice.
We are all different though so you have to take that information and experiment on how YOUR body reacts .
Start with a reset . Remove everything from your diet . Buy a big fat steak . Cook it to medium rare or even rarer , you need those enzymes .
Lots of salt and have 30 grams or so of butter with that steak . Don’t eat for the next 12 hours .
When you have been without food for about 8 hours …… that’s when you do your cardio .
Be strict and hard on your self for the first week . Make sure you eat as much fat as you can . Your body won’t have any fibre so your using fat as your method of pooping. Some say eat fat and protein at a 1:1 ratio , same go as far as 2:1 fat to ratio . What ever keeps you regular .
First thing is your going to lose 3 or 4 kg of fibrous shit that was sitting around in your intestines . Think of how much bad shit comes from that rotting fibre sitting around for days inside you.
Once you’ve adapted you can start slowly adding foods into your diet at certain times .
Carbs just before training. Your body should be insulin sensitive by now .
If you keep your self in this state , you are in state where your body is primed for fatloss .
Find the calorie intake that works for you and let your body do its thing at this point .
Don’t interfere by adding cooking oils and carbs at time where they won’t be utilised lots of water and keep your salts up .

And be ready to have to explain to the whole world why you’re eating the way you are because you will be questioned every single day .
Until they start complimenting you on how much Better you look .
Good luck bro .
Don’t be a stranger, it’s a lot more complicated than what I’ve described and I’m happy to chat privately in more detail .
You can also see what I’ve been doing in my log . You can pretty much see the evolution of my diet in the log .
And the mods have been very helpful in advice and questions that sometimes spark an idea .

Wow heaps of great info 👌

People are probably laughing at me giving advice but when it. Comes to food and how your body reacts ……. I think I’m very well experienced in that field .
It's an open forum, trust me people are going to have opinions... fuckem! and I love a rare almost blue steak! I don't eat a lot of steak atm, as I had about 3 weeks of dinners/frozen meals that I've been trying to get rid of before the move.

Thanks for the advice too, it's confronting having your diet questioned, and I had expected this in part as I'd read a few logs. But will get there with time.

Current Sides:
  • Low Libido
  • Poor EQ
  • Very mild pimples on back
  • Mood low - But that is consistent with my week.
For clarity: Sides have subsided, these were coming into the week. I suspect low SHBG contributed to the Low Libido and Poor EQ, but could also be changing rations of hormones too. But the sides have begun to subside.

rare steak is perfect, thats the steak of champions, easy to digest @juddy
meal prep is actually the key to any success so we do our best here bro
and I would say the EVO family is more about suggestions and guidance not so much questioning right ;)

Following this log @juddy , well done on the transformation so far
Thank you.

Thanks, I've made some improvements but will continue. Thanks for your comment.

sounds like you're following a little bit of It Fits your Macros
yeah IIFYM isn't the way to go even if you eat in a deficit
Whats this? To be honest, I just try and pick the healthiest options I can. But it will continue to work on the diet.

I would do a much shorter feeding window maybe 4 hours instead
I'll make a concerted effort to give IF a crack, but 4 hours.... Ouch!

you adjusted hormones gear intake?

Dropped Anavar, close to two weeks ago. This was crushing SHBG. I've noticed similar before when taking Anavar, with in a few weeks it destroys my SHBG and increases LDL. I think it's the everyday use, but not sure yet

Also had increased from TRT (Test only) dosage to TRT+ (Test and Primo) but that was a month ago and that increase is what I think caused the backnee.

@Npcclassicphysique champ yeah I did, it's hidden within my androgen panel.

Each if the drops in numbers corresponds to Anavar usage.

@juddy this is an odd blood work format for Americans.

I looked back as well trying to find this but now I see its in the middle column. It's clear now.

We can openly say Anavar for you personally lowers SHBG.

Oh and yeah I assumed that the format was the issue. I have a spreadsheet but I haven't updated my bloods for the month so didn't use it. But the spreadsheet keeps timeline and levels easy to read.

@juddy i like you post no matter what the foods are man :) clean but we should mod some things

to deal with anxiety, can you add daily probiotics and spore based ones too?
with psyllium husk possible?

also you look great, clear fat loss and you trying hard man :)

@Eddie Haskell I'll check with the Aussies about brands of probiotics, we have Yukult, is that good?

PT session was all lower body, machine leg press, then on to single leg press, then dead lifts with walking lunges between sets.....

Then 🤢 vomit.

Retuned and deadline,

🤢 vomit again,

Stretches and didn't complete hammies.

Later in the day, I was moving stock at a pretty fast rate and vomited 2 more times.

I've kept no food down today :( or meds.

I dont think I was pushing hard either times but my body is just not having it.

Brecky was half bagle and egg, after workout was fruit salad, plus about 2litres of water today so far

Whats your thoughts????

I'm not sick, and has been happening since being more active.

Have been for the last 8 years, the last few weeks have been so damn hot here it makes it hard.

The reason hes leaving is I don't want him going to high school here, so its the best for him in the long run. Mum and I split when he was 2.

2 more years of primary school, but better to move with time to establish a friends....

I'm not at all happy, but it's the right thing.

Drugs?
Nothing unpercsribed or recreationa. Also stopped drinking too last month.

Why vomit?
So physically I'm fine, blood pressures normal high for me I'm guessing it's heat related and diet maybe?

But it's happened before now, however i think it was heat stroke during these times.

fruit is also a good carb option

you could still cook delicious meals that are healthy
