I have no idea what it's like to cheer for a winner lol. The leafs haven't won a cup since the late 60s. Our cities motto is "Maybe next year"
they been good lately. your expectations are too high. only 1 team can win it all

Log Day 70

Thankfully I can say my recovery is back on point. It was pretty tough from the last week of May up until a week ago. I was in the last phase of my 8 week training cycle and pushing my limits. It's nice to wake up feeling refreshed in the morning again. I actually woke up well before my alarm today and my body just didn't need anymore sleep.

Got my low impact cardio in on the treadmill yesterday. Steps over 10k. I was listening to the EVO podcast and @stevesmi and @Mobster were talking about pull-ups are the secret to bigger arms. I always program pull-ups atleast once a week in every training cycle. What I'm going to do now is just hit random sets of pull-ups throughout the week. Maybe a set or two in the am, another set in the afternoon, just whenever I walk by my pull-up bar and I have time. Let's see how it goes. I've always been more focused on bringing up my chest and back that my arms are falling behind. Hopefully these pull-ups will be the key to some good arm gains.

@BeMe Great updates man....keep up the good work.........

Log Day 68

Long day at work, but it was a rest and cardio day so perfect timing. Hit the treadmill to walk and run and got my steps up to 12K. It's been a little while since I hit 12K steps which I think may have been hurting my recovery. I'm well recovered today I think that's due to my cardio work. Need to stop skipping cardio when I'm exhausted and just power through cuz it's good for my body I think.

Ate pretty shitty last night. My wife wanted to order in from the BBQ spot so I got some Brisket and fries. They don't have any veg or rice options. Atleast the fries are homemade and good, but I think the high amount of salt is making my skin dry and body hold water today. Salt restaurant food tends to do that to me.

@BeMe ah brisket isn’t bad and neither is fries as long as you kept it in moderation

Had some "rockfish" for dinner tonight. Being in central Canada the fish selection can be hit and miss so when we see something new we try it. Never had it before, don't know what it is, but my wife cooked it up and it was great. Maybe @stevesmi knows what a rockfish is?

On a lighter note lol

We have an American sub chain call Jersey Mike's opening up locations around the city. They just opened one near me and everyone is raving about it. The wife and I are thinking about checking it out today.

Any of you guys familiar with Jersey Mike's and have any recommendations on what to get?
its pretty good broly get the roast beef its nice @BeMe

Ya they made it to the second round for the first time in 8 years so that's something I guess lol
look at how many teams never make the playoffs
you canadians like to complain A LOT about things ! that is something i notice about you all
yet overall you all live the highest lifestyle in the world. i bet its cause of the cold weather and short days all winter, it frustrates you and makes you go crazy. just like people who live at high altitudes who go mental

The Maple Leafs have always had the highest ticket prices in the league, the largest most die hard fan base going, and no Stanley cup to celebrate since the 60s. We pay more and support the team more loyally than any franchise in history. The problem in Toronto specifically is the expectations are very high, so much of the Toronto identity is tied up in the Leafs but there's nothing to show for it for a very long time and hopes are always high every season. In sport no one celebrates simply making it too the playoffs lol. That's a losers mentality. If you asked every player on the team how they felt about this season none of them would say atleast we made it to the second round lol.

As for our country, I think the truth lies in what the people say, not what the media shows you. Kinda like what @ceo was explaining about LA being down trotten in the media, we have the opposite situation. People remember Canada being a great place, and it kinda was up until about 11 years ago. Our country has been on a downslide since and it's gotten so bad that people actually feel it in their everyday life now. But if you don't believe me just look at the stats and see how we rank against other G7 nations. Look up healthcare spending vs outcomes, real GDP, Productivity, cost of living analysis vs GDP, housing prices to income ratio, housing prices in general. We consistently rank the worst or there about. Look at any of those statistics on a chart over the years and it's bad. @Ulter

If all the Canadians you speak with are saying one thing, maybe it's true right? I can say for the first time in my adult life the Federal government has actually negatively impacted the day to day lives of average citizens and that's why you're hearing about it. It's gotten so bad that even our state sponsored media had to start reporting on it lol.

Log Day 71

Bros look up the temps today in Toronto and see if you still think Canada is cold LOL. High of 111 Fahrenheit with the humidex. Gotta be close to what @stevesmi and @BodyMonster34 get in the summer no? It's funny cuz I was just talking to @ROIDDERS about Toronto being the 3rd warmest city in Canada. Went outside at 9am and it was overcast and up over 100 Fahrenheit already. I picked a bad summer to add muscle to my body lol.

Training was great yesterday. The warm up worksets from @Noah Wixx are working amazingly! Everyone should be trying this technique, it's genius!

Current stack is 300 test, 250 primo, 200 NPP, 30 anavar, 25 Proviron. I'm not really feeling a noticeable boost from the NPP yet but I only pinned 4 times as of this past Friday. Gonna give it another week to see how it goes, and if the Proviron helps out, before upping to 300NPP.

Getting into your car in Texas in the summertime is a life threatening event lol.

“Somebody” threw a dead ocean fish into one of the work trucks when we were working in Corpus Cristi. It actually cooked it. Really thought it would have smelled worse
