Hey guys,
New to the community and looking into doing my first cycle within the next few months.
I've played sport (mauy thai, rugby etc.) my whole life and have be specifically weight training for the past 3.5 years. I wanted to post to see if anyone has advice on what to run, how much and PCT to ensure I'm as safe as I can possibly be. I don't take many pictures of my physic but this is my current state and wanting to see if I could push it a little more.

From someone who was/is in a similar boat - I hopped on in November of last year, and I'm a similar age with a similar training history - my biggest recommendation would be to start slow, make the most of the least, and learn to roll with the punches.
Obviously, get your bloods done beforehand - Get a general hormone panel, but also get your liver, kidneys, and full blood count looked at. I got the basic bloods done, but regret not getting more info before i started. This is a good all-around blood test, or at least a good range of markers --

I started at 150mg of Test E, which bumped my test levels to about 950 nmol/L - this helped me to put on 10kg of muscle tissue in just 6 months. Anyone who recommends multiple compounds or medium to high doses for a first cycle doesn't care about your health.
When I say 'roll with the punches', this comes to side effects - 150mg test will increase your estrogen levels, I tried to manage this with arimidex at first, but responded poorly - so instead added 150mg Primo to control E2 and also add other aesthetic and anabolic benefits. The primo made my hair start to fall out and thin, had to find something to deal with that. Overall the primo is great tho, if you can get real stuff. 10/10 recommendation for a second compound, Masteron is a good alternative, but primo feels smoother
After several months on 250 test and 150 primo (still very low doses in comparison), I realised my blood pressure was in an unhealthy range - so I pulled back to 150 test 150 primo to learn how to get my BP under control. You are guaranteed to run into side effects, but starting slow gives you the chance to understand what compounds cause what side effects and gives you the time to deal with them.
I believe 'blast and cruise' is a much better method than using a PCT. Overall, start slow - build up doses and compounds until you're at a 'cycle level doses' - see how you respond to that, and then pull back to a cruise. After 4-8 weeks on a cruise, you'd be ready to start again at those higher doses and blast from there.
I'm sure people will disagree with these methods, but this is a health-first approach to using PEDs - if you look after your health month to month, you'll be fine for years to come. Work with a coach too who can guide you through how training, PEDs, food and everything all works together.
As far as supplements, I take:
- Fish oils
- Zinc/magnesium (ZMA) in the morning and more magnesium at night
- CoQ10 and nattokinase for heart health and blood pressure
- Nac, milk thistle and Tudca for kidneys and liver
- Finasteride to keep my hair
- Injectable L-carnitine - to slow the rate of fat gained in a bulk and support training
- A daily greens supplement - 'Vitality switch' if you're in Aus if the best
If you nail your diet, get enough sleep, reduce stress, basically don't ever drink alcohol, you'll run into fewer and fewer side effects
