Cycle update
Please note that this log is how the compounds below affect me, and is just my point of view:

Test E - Nice and smooth as usual and thankfully it was given it was in my left quad.

Deca - Same smooth pin into right quad. No pain no issues.

EQ - Not today

Dbol - 20mg in the morning, and 20mg at midday and 20mg this afternoon 30-45 min before leg training.

Overall - Couldn't be happy with all of the compounds from @Southern and the results I have had so far.
Next cycle will probably be the same with a reduction in carbs so I can lean down a bit more. I will add either Tbol, Anavar or Winny instead of Dbol, just to see the difference. Still see no need to add Tren as yet.

** Really tough. Basically forced reps at the end when strict curls fell apart. Stay on this weight.

**Still had good form and control all the way through these. Did 28 and 26 reps respectively on last sets.

Daily thoughts
BP was up this morning which is the first time for months. Could be from yesterdays epic leg program, but will need to be monitored over the next week. A recently reduced BP med may have to be reintroduced to bring it back to better levels again.
Leg day really took it out of me yesterday and I thought I would struggle hard in the gym today. I came through the session really well with only Hammer curls being really difficult.
Tomorrow is thankfully a rest day and I will do a comparison of the first week on this cycle in my log update.

Shoulders must be nice and healthy to tolerate the bench dips.

The hammer curls look hardcore with the big dumbbells! 25kg is good going.

It was by accident that I found them. I don't have a dip attachment on this rack so I thought the GHR handles looked good. I'm too tall to do them the standard way so I decided to do them like a bench dip. They target my tri's unbelievably. No shoulder or chest involvement at all. The bands obviously add resistance.
Yes it does a bit but I only rotate through delts and quads so sometimes it just works that way. Worse with leg press than squats actually. 🩵

Deca - Easy pin today in right delt. Just loving how the Deca makes my joints feel and the strength gains I am getting. Not one mental side for me on nearly 500mg pw. If anything I am calmer than ever 🤷‍♂️😁.

EQ - Not today.

Dbol - 20mg in the morning, 20mg at midday and 20mg this afternoon 30-45 min before training. Still really like this approach. Will probably stay now. Focus is excellent when I lift.

Overall - Felt on fire today and ready to lift. Dbol had me buzzing with adrenaline. Today proves how well this cycle is already going. My post session recovery is also excellent now as well.

Daily thoughts
Today was important to me. Mentally 200kg has always been that number that proves difficult. Today I blew through it. That's the first time since pre-2020 that I have had it in the air. Last time I even attempted to do 200 it didn't even go close to moving off the floor.
Still weak in the posterior chain and I need to work this hard. Grip is great and my lower back still needs time under tension to get used to these weights. However, given I am 3 days into my first real major cycle ever, those big numbers I crave do not seem a pipe dream now.

Beautiful Peregrine falcon. They are such clever & charismatic birds. I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos about falconry recently. Really cool & fascinating stuff. A lot of the time they capture wild birds and once they gain their trust, the birds will hunt for their handler and return to them on their own will. Peregrines are the original raptors used from 1000s of years ago 😊

It was by accident that I found them. I don't have a dip attachment on this rack so I thought the GHR handles looked good. I'm too tall to do them the standard way so I decided to do them like a bench dip. They target my tri's unbelievably. No shoulder or chest involvement at all. The bands obviously add resistance.
Yes it does a bit but I only rotate through delts and quads so sometimes it just works that way. Worse with leg press than squats actually. 🩵

Turns out it's a benefit not having the dip attachment. Home gym hacks like that are the best. Love seeing all crazy ideas people come up with in the home gym community

Weight is slightly up, muscularity is up, strength is up, body fat slightly down.
Absolutely no changes required. If all goes according to plan I will stop the Dbol in 2 weeks and start my HGH at 2iu per day. Increasing here will depend on results.

**Over the week I have increased my intake with almost no weight gain. Happy at this level.

Sleep
6hrs. Really disjointed. I hope the HGH can help here.

Training
Rest day. Need this one more than usual.

Daily thoughts
So first week is officially in on this cycle. But given I sort of started 3 weeks ago I will go from there.
Overall:
*Weight stayed within a kilo all week has not altered much in last month.
*Nutrition has increased by about 500 to 700 cals in last 2-3 weeks. Most of this is Protien but Carbs have increased slightly.
*All lifts are up in weight. Strength is significantly increased.
*Muscularity is up in most areas and I have lost a little leaness. Happy with appearance overall.
*Cycle is running as well as can be expected. All of the compounds seem to work in a nice synergy together.

**Had to not do these as pushing it was a certain injury. Unfortunate.

Daily thoughts
Left shoulder is still of concern but I will see if things calm overnight like last week. Don't want to do anything drastic yet but will need to keep an eye on it since I had to stop the session which is unfortunate.
Anyway.......
I have noticed the consistency in brothers and sisters logging has waned in the last month or so. Work, family, social entanglements and life in general are obviously all factors in why this occurs. Could it be the colder weather setting in?

Regardless of what is causing it, almost all who get sporadic in their logs also get sporadic in their training, diet and healthy habits in general. Then they regret it and try and play catch-up, which we all know never works.
I of course have done this several times myself over the years. The start again sessions are too numerous to mention.

However one of the advantages (and disadvantages) of age is that I know that each time I do this it becomes much harder. This time was the hardest of all as I had to navigate a health issue with an aging body. I would prefer not to do that again quite honestly.
I know I have very few real re-starts left in me to get to elite level lifting at nearly 60 years of age, which is why this one is so very important to me. The foundation blocks are now in place and I have my plans. I just need to keep consistent now.

This is where my log is so important to me now. By doing it every single day I am accountable for my actions in it. What I eat, how I train, how I feel at the time are all part of this. Experience has taught me that if I get a bit lax with it my training, diet and motivation will follow eventually.
I suppose what I am trying to outline is that priorities change all the time and we must try and adapt to these with the lifestyle we have embraced. My priorities now are very different from what they were 10, 20 or 30 years ago.
Children and all their school stuff and work advancements have been replaced with grandchildren and retirement plans. However our health is more of a priority now than it has ever been.
None of its easy but the beauty of having a community like Evo is you will never be doing it on your own.

140kg bench is bloody good. Very good lifts my guy. Sucks your shoulder is annoying you. Thoughts on getting MRI etc? Get strong as much as you can incase its not an injury that can just heal over time? Dont want to send negative vibes though hope it comes up all good.

Very interesting and informative thoughts. Life does tend to get in the way and its about that time of the year most people who have started a new year thing have given up. I have also found making my best effort to log every day has helped me stick to it. Keeps it on the front of your mind so you dont just say "fuck it not today".

Thanks brother. It settles quickly but today if I forced it other areas were going to compensate and I could feel that happening on the last set of floor press. I hate cutting sessions short but I hate long term injuries more. I will get HGH this week so we will see if that helps. It did on the other side.

Overall - Couldn't be happy with all of the compounds from @Southern and the results I have had so far.
Next cycle will probably be the same with a reduction in carbs so I can lean down a bit more. I will add either Tbol, Anavar or Winny instead of Dbol, just to see the difference. Still see no need to add Tren as yet.

Daily thoughts
BP was up this morning which is the first time for months. Could be from yesterdays epic leg program, but will need to be monitored over the next week. A recently reduced BP med may have to be reintroduced to bring it back to better levels again.
Leg day really took it out of me yesterday and I thought I would struggle hard in the gym today. I came through the session really well with only Hammer curls being really difficult.
Tomorrow is thankfully a rest day and I will do a comparison of the first week on this cycle in my log update.

Thanks brother, and yes not my most inspired move I have to say just carrying on with floor press 🙄. Especially when I started to get numbness in my hand in the 2nd set but still did 3, 4 and 5. Old lions 🦁 are the worst at quitting anything and 🤦‍♂️.
Is a bit stiff today, but my shoulders session today will sort that out 😁🩵

**No issues with the weight, some discomfort in left shoulder. Pushed through this.

Giant Set
Laterals 5kg, Rear delts 10kg, Shrugs 90kg for 5 sets all 15 reps.
**As shoulder was still an issue, I dropped the weights a little and turned this into a giant set. Pain in shoulders was minimal, really gassed me though. Different, not necessarily fun, but different and better for my shoulders.

Not much to add today after yesterday's lengthy write up.
The long break with just resting has made me feel a little lethargic I must admit. I needed it, but I am ready to kick things up a gear again.

No AI brother. Not a heavy aromatiser, plus I have Eq in the mix with proviron. Just a bit off bro that's all. I felt better using 40mg.
I get bloods done next week so I will see but I expect no real surprises. 🩵

Landmine press 15x0,5kg 4x15x12.5kg
**No issues with the weight, some discomfort in left shoulder. Pushed through this.

Giant Set
Laterals 5kg, Rear delts 10kg, Shrugs 90kg for 5 sets all 15 reps.
**As shoulder was still an issue, I dropped the weights a little and turned this into a giant set. Pain in shoulders was minimal, really gassed me though. Different, not necessarily fun, but different and better for my shoulders.

Daily thoughts
Not much to add today after yesterday's lengthy write up.
The long break with just resting has made me feel a little lethargic I must admit. I needed it, but I am ready to kick things up a gear again.

About your shoulder, you mentioned the other day about it possible being rotator cuff related. I cam across a video randomly actually about what is a great exercise for the rotator cuff, "Dumbbell shoulder rotations". Maybe you already know about it, if not then it may be worthwhile checking it out. Some good videos on YouTube on how to do them.

Dbol - 20mg in the morning, and 20mg at midday and 20mg this afternoon. Going to reduce this to 40mg. Just feel a bit off on 60mg

Overall - Everything is still running beautifully but I am noticing I feel a bit odd with the 3rd 20mg dose of Dbol so I am bringing it back down to 40mg.

Thanks brother, and yes not my most inspired move I have to say just carrying on with floor press 🙄. Especially when I started to get numbness in my hand in the 2nd set but still did 3, 4 and 5. Old lions 🦁 are the worst at quitting anything and 🤦‍♂️.
Is a bit stiff today, but my shoulders session today will sort that out 😁🩵
Preaching to the choir bro. I think I remember seeing a study that a heavy shoulder day is great for recovery. Just gotta push harder was the main takeaway lol

Oh I like that study, totally makes sense to me. My shoulder is better today after a shoulder specific session, just had to drop Laterals back a little. Can totally be worked through the 😁🩵

6.5 hours. Much better last night. Could of slept in and of course I couldn't because it was my first day back at work. Typical 🙄

Block pulls 3x 70,90,120,145,170,190,210kg
**First time getting these into the program in a long time. All moved well on the first lift but 2 and 3 were tougher from 170kg. 210 moved well on first lift but lower back was cooked by then so bailed on 2nd rep. Next time.

**Moved well and held good form till the last set. Bit of cheat in those reps. Keeping weight here for now.

Daily thoughts
Whilst reading a couple of articles on powerlifters last night, it had a revelation. That revelation was why was I rushing to get to a certain lift by 60 when my strength will continue to climb well into my mid 60s and beyond. I was putting a limitation on myself that just wasn't necessary. My focus needs to remain on my process and slowly building my strength base all the time, but it also needs to focus on being as injury free as possible. I don't actually have a time limit at all.
I also shifted to as much of a powerlifting style of lifting as I can physically handle now instead of occasionally having bodybuilding exercises start a days session. Now 1's and 3's are more prominent in my opening exercises with volume coming in after these. Thanks Dan Green for this bit of programming assist.
I was going to start next cycle but I need to get some areas of my body (lower back, shoulders, knees) used to heavy loads a bit faster than this, so fuck it, it is starting now.

I won't commit to a weight class as I think I will probably end up over 110kg. As long as my diet remains as it is I should stay lean so where I get is where I get weight wise. Plenty of time to figure that one out.
Happy with the minor adjustment so far.

Always a very interesting and insightful update from you Brother.
Made me think about my 3 post a week minimum that I'm keeping inline with my workouts, and if its worthwhile for others if I'm doing extra nutrition updates or just a weekly wrapup.🤷🏼‍♂️
I can relate to the revelations about goals and timeframes too, I often feel pressure fixating on a number or date. You've given us all something to think about.

You're looking lean mean and full in the photos bro and moving huge weight, the cycle has kicked off in a big way, and it's working well.

Looking forward to your upcoming HGH, should make a huge difference in the sleep and recovery.

Thanks for the kind words once more brother. I am really hoping the HGH is here this week myself. I feel it's the one actual piece I am missing in this entire cycle. If I can sleep a bit better and recover a little faster, then that would be gold 🩵

**First time getting these into the program in a long time. All moved well on the first lift but 2 and 3 were tougher from 170kg. 210 moved well on first lift but lower back was cooked by then so bailed on 2nd rep. Next time.

Daily thoughts
Whilst reading a couple of articles on powerlifters last night, it had a revelation. That revelation was why was I rushing to get to a certain lift by 60 when my strength will continue to climb well into my mid 60s and beyond. I was putting a limitation on myself that just wasn't necessary. My focus needs to remain on my process and slowly building my strength base all the time, but it also needs to focus on being as injury free as possible. I don't actually have a time limit at all.
I also shifted to as much of a powerlifting style of lifting as I can physically handle now instead of occasionally having bodybuilding exercises start a days session. Now 1's and 3's are more prominent in my opening exercises with volume coming in after these. Thanks Dan Green for this bit of programming assist.
I was going to start next cycle but I need to get some areas of my body (lower back, shoulders, knees) used to heavy loads a bit faster than this, so fuck it, it is starting now.

I won't commit to a weight class as I think I will probably end up over 110kg. As long as my diet remains as it is I should stay lean so where I get is where I get weight wise. Plenty of time to figure that one out.
Happy with the minor adjustment so far.

No brother not at all. Has literally stayed the same since I adjusted my diet back to a more protien based one. Gaining strength, losing bodyfat as well. No water retention. 🩵

6hours. Absolute shocker of a night. Was really restless.

Training
Rest day today. No training, setups, practice, absolutely nothing. Need to strictly adhere to this as I cannot recover properly without this day of rest from training.

Daily thoughts
Not much going on today. Just totally resting and not doing what I did last week and play with GHRs. That was a mistake and it drained me far more than I anticipated. Need to understand my rest days are more important now than ever.

Well looks like you've worked out your way of doing it man 👊 would be interesting for in theory someone to try

20 dbol/20tbol am then repeated pre workout but that would be so mush stress on your liver. The strength and endurance on paper would be next level 😂 but not worth frying your liver over
