DNP gives me insatiable carb cravings so I had to crush it with large doses of tirzepitide lol. Definitely don’t need that much anymore, 2.5mg a week is plenty atm.

Yeah, just making sure thyroid is okay from the long and harsh deficit. Bloods came back good.

Stuff is only truly tolerable during the winter. If I was Canadian, I think I would take it every day just to stay warm lol. It’s relatively freezing here in Aus and I couldn’t imagine how cold it gets over there in the Northern Hemisphere.
not a bad idea.

77.9kg

Did a TSH, FT3, FT4 test today. Hopefully we’ll get results tomorrow before the weekend. Curious to see how some of these compounds and current diet have affected thyroid (if affected).

Switched cardio to:
10k+ steps a day
40-50minute stationary bike (enjoying light cardio at the end of the night so I prefer this)

I’ve had a bit of a headache today but felt good energy-wise. I’m not one to really care what the scale says because I understand how weight fluctuations work, but it was definitely a nice surprise to see 77.9kg this morning.

It was also a nice surprise to see a strength increase with the fly machine, I don’t really expect much when it comes to strength increases during dieting, infact, on the contrary—most lifts I’m seeing a slow and steady decline; for example my lateral raises and incline dumbbell presses. I don’t obviously mind it because it means my diet is working and I fully expect to gain everything back and 10x more during a long and drawn out lean bulk.

I say it a lot, but I couldn’t be more happy with how my mental fortitude and appetite have been during this diet. Because I was abusing 10mg of ret/tirz a week while on DNP losing 2kg a week, I was scared 2.5mg wouldn’t hold against the built up hunger, but it turns out, I don’t feel any difference. Obviously I’m not losing that kind of weight anymore and I don’t have insatiable DNP cravings, but still; very impressed.
@playfields nice update man

*lighting still a work in progress*

Honestly, other than a few sweets here and there and demotivation earlier in the week—great progress is still being made and I hope to maintain at this pace.

Mood feels better, maybe the EQ is starting to cook.

Your quads look really good, RIPPED and you are getting bigger and leaner at the same time, nicely done @playfields
I would add a protein bar to push protein to 200 if your coach approves.

Thank you man! Very happy with the progress being made, and I'll try to make a personal effort to eat a bit more protein this week 😁
@playfields x @Gains Man are going to have all the doubters and naysayers eating their words! 😤💪

Idk guys. Maybe I keep coping to myself. But I am losing my DRIVEEEE!!!!!!! I no longer enjoy dieting like I use to. I yearn for increasing size.

We have gotten to that point of the diet where it’s becoming a grind!!!! I really like seeing the daily changes and I know you all see the changes week by week too—however I must admit that my ULTIMATE goal in life is to have every vein popping out of my skin. Unfortunately, no matter how much fat I lose around my abs, obliques, chest, legs…. I AM seeing ZERO vascularity… and it saddens me. The thing is as well, is I really want them predominantly in my forearms… but i only get them in my calves, and some in my lower abdomen.. but none in my forearms :(.

I know traditionally that a more sustainable approach to ultra lean (particularly for a first time) sort of requires cutting for a couple of months then maintaining or lean gaining then finishing off with another cut. I’m beginning to think more and more about this approach if I wish to continue without driving myself insane.

I’ll continue to think about it. I also mentioned a couple of logs ago that I had a big life thing in 2 weeks that could change my habits, which could also be a good excuse to enter a stress free state for a couple of months because I would definitely need to lower physical activity a bit and lower calories as well if I wanted to maintain weight loss.

Would love to hear your thoughts :).

Also didn’t get my usual steps in—not because of demotivation; I had to stop because I was busy.

Look at the difference in your body composition in just 14 days brother. Don't switch things up just yet. Keep doing what you're doing and trust the process - it is working :)

Hang in there. It will happen, trust me.

I used to feel the same way and know I can see veins where I never could before. Trust the process and stay consistent and it will come.

77.1kg

Felt great today. Strength felt good on face pulls and dumbbell rows.

Unfortunately like I said, I’ve been slacking on steps because I’ve been a bit busy. Should be able to get back on track on thursdayish—maybe I can get some in tomorrow as well, it’s not too upsetting since weight loss has continued to progress. I do have to make up for it though by eating a little less and doing a bit more cardio at the end of my workouts which I actually prefer tbh then doing a bunch of steps, but I make certain to get the protein in atleast.

Good macro day on protein, but you need more fats, either higher carbs or higher fats, your body wont be efficient living off protein only. @playfields you can add 1 avocado to fix this.

For some reason I can’t upload pictures atm to EVO.. but here’s my log.

Another great day; leg extension PR with a solid pause at the top.. could feel my knee joint giving out before my muscle lol.

Starting to think getting the majority of my steps in and then immediately heading to the gym has been depressing my mood, because I’ve been busy preparing for Thursday (and some shocking weather here in Victoria) I haven’t been bothered getting in my steps, but rather opting to lower calories and get in extra light cardio in after strength training. Seems to be a better alternative at the moment in terms of mood and time management, however I know it’s going to be a bit controversial because the nutrients are low and it doesn’t help that I haven’t been exactly eating the cleanest diet in the last couple of days.. but it’s working great in my favour currently.

Another shout out to @R M , I think I’m gonna be living off of coles pulled beef/pork/chicken for the rest of my life.
