Usually do. Wife wanted pizza/wings from a local place for her last good meal before surgery so just went with it. 12 wings and 2 slices of cauliflower crust pizza. Was delicious!!!

Monday became sunday due to weekly obligations. Day1 of deload today. Bench PR of 325x1. Felt pretty heavy. Moved really slow from midway to top. No spotter.1rm calc had me at 365x1. Honestly the way 325lbs felt I think 365 wasn’t gonna happen. Only caveat here is that I trained in the AM with only one meal and 2 pop tarts in the system. I’ll up this 1rm attempt later in this build. Today is just too close to my wife’s surgery to mess around and get injured.

My wife's surgery went as planned and she is home relaxing. The only issue is that they messed up her pain med prescription so it did not get filled yesterday so last night was not great for her. Getting that resolved this morning. Thank you to all who commented and wished her well.

What kind of surgery was it? Did she have some type of growth cut out of her or something? That sucks. She has to go on pain medication. @s.gentz

She had a partial hysterectomy to remove her uterus which had a giant fibroid the size of a grapefruit that was putting pressure on her bladder and the nerve bundle near her tail bone. It was lathroscopic so not to invasive but still she was in a fair amount of pain. It's all sorted now, she's just resting.

She has been having tailbone pain and other issues including severe fatigue for a while. No doctors were really being any help. She switched her primary doctor and finally found someone that actually listened.
She also has issues with birth control. It causes a lot of headaches for her but when she goes off of it her periods are all over the place and seem to last twice as long as normal. That is what really promotes her looking at this option. The more they dug in the more it made sense and after seeing how big the fibroid was it was a no brainer. We will see how things go. Hopefully much better for her.

That’s great she likes to train though. I’d like to find a wife like that hahaha. No couch potatoes. But illness and injury is of course understandable. We all go through it.

Have no doubt she will snap back now her health is on the mend. Must be a big relief for her finally being able to move foward from it now.

Bro I can totally relate to this. HarleyGirl had the same surgery too! Took her a bit to be fully functional but she made it through. So glad to hear s.gentzgirl made it too. Good for you too for supporting her through that.

I love that you're taking N2Guard along with all this. I'm on board with supps being a big part of the budget and I love your dosing it's right up my alley. The only thing I'm higher on is Bergamot and NAC but this is a solid, solid supps stack bro!

Multisequence multiplanar images of the right shoulder were obtained without contrast.

FINDINGS:
Supraspinatus Tendon: High-grade partial-thickness undersurface tear. Tear extends to the myotendinous junction.
Infraspinatus Tendon: Intact.
Subscapularis Tendon: Intact.
Teres Minor Tendon: Intact.
Long Head Biceps Tendon: Intact.
Rotator Cuff Muscles: No atrophy.
Labrum: Degenerated and torn, particularly the superior portion.
Glenohumeral Articular Cartilage: Thinned.
Acromioclavicular Joint: Moderate hypertrophy. Mild impression on the subacromial space.
Bones: Degenerative marrow changes. No acute osseous abnormalities.
Fluid: Small amount of joint fluid. No bursal collections.

MRI could be worse, the supraspinatus tear and labrum wear mean back off pressing volume and keep inflammation down.
IMO ED you should be pinning bpc157 and taking glucosamine chondroitin msm and doing infrared lamp. @s.gentz

I don't know shit about this compared to @LevButlerov except to ask if your against BPC/TB 500mcg/500mcg x 2 ED with collagen peptides? Worked for my elbow tendons like magic with the GHK-Cu. Once I added the GHK-Cu to it by using "GLOW" it kicked into high gear. GHK would be 2.5mg x 2 for 5mg total ED

@s.gentz that is really good. You're being honest about the situation. With meSame thing. The peptides won't work for certain things and they'll work for other things. That's just how it is. Anyone who claims that these peptides are miracle drugs are exaggerating. Some of these injuries can't be healed.

I haven’t reviewed with the doc yet. I’m not really limited so not doing anything other than pressing on for the moment. It’s been like this for months now. Not getting any worse. Actually better than it was.

Will do. Peptides and the cortisone did nothing. 5ey are not fix all compounds. They work great for some things but acute injury not so much. If I stopped training they would most likely help me heal faster but for now I’m staying on the path. I’m not in pain so no reason to change anything at the moment.

@s.gentz find out what they recommend in terms of how you can train. maybe you need to stop doing things like overhead or inclines. those are the worst offenders for the shoulders

I don't do overhead press at all. Haven't in a long time, The only direct work I do for shoulder is very light laterals(15-20lbs DB) and rear delts on the pec deck. None of this aggravates the shoulder at all.
The incline press I do is machine and it's a very low incline. Almost flat. I put blocks under the bumpers fir the lift off so not starting in a compromised position. At the end I basically just drop the weight so I don't have to stretch too much.

I’m gaining really fast where I’m at. Actually thinking about relaxing the food a bit. See where I’m at after the weekend. Only 8 weeks into this build and I’m up over 20lbs. The insulin is no joke. Most anabolic compound I’ve ever used!!!

I think you shouldn't let up, go to the top! 12 weeks push it hard and you can relax after @s.gentz and insulin is hardcore! but remember a lot of it is IM water and glycogen not muscle.

If it was me I would continue open ended until your gains stop. Take advantage of your first ever insulin cycle.

I just got an opt set up next Thur with a surgeon. Same guy that did my right shoulder in 2019. Sounds like he is one of the best shoulder surgeons on west coast.

How you finding the insulin brother? What are the main effects its had for you so far?
Honestly I love it. Prob the most anabolic compound out there. This is one of the most productive cycles I have ever ran. There are def risks though. It needs to be used properly. A dosing mistake could put you in the hospital or worse. Def a very advanced protocol.
