Female Log Retatrutide Journal - Female

V.I.P.
EVO Logger
I want to express my gratitude to Zenithhealth for giving me the chance to experience and participate in running a log utilising Retatrutide.
Im a 38 year old female, mother of 4 and registered nurse. For the last few years i have struggled with my weight and all things seemed impossible, the harder i seemed to try to lose the weight the more weight i would gain, at my heaviest i came in at 95kgs. Being a gym enthusiast i understood the requirement of hard work in the gym but even that was failing me. The weight just refused to shift. The last year i had been using GLP 1ś . Started off on Mounjaro using this consecutively for about 7 months then switching to semaglutide for the remaining 5 months losing a total of 22kgs overall. After sometime i felt they became ineffective and were just not working and i was pouring money into inconsistent results and my hair was falling out in clumps. For the last 2 months ive been having a break, The food noise has been insane and consequently ive already gained back 4 kgs. Ive been looking for a step up that can take my results that one step further. I cant wait to give Retatrutide the time and attention it needs. Looking to implement some healthy eating habits, previously i had no desire for food at all and my health suffered long term as a result for starving for long periods of time. Also looking to finally hit that goal weight except this time with the guidance and support from zenithhealth.
Goals
Current weight 77kgs

she accidentally posted an update in the wrong thread, are you able to move the post from here to here?

unable, she asked for deletion it was done, please ask her to post a reply here with pics :D @ZenithHealth
Haha she actually posted in two separate wrong threads :ROFLMAO: first time was in another thread which rightfully got deleted, second time she posted her in my summer sale thread which is still visible.

https://www.evolutionary.org/forums...-for-retatrutide-loggers.108199/#post-1933330

I have asked her to post a reply here with pics but I think she is having some trouble figuring everything out as it's her first time using these forums.

really appreciate you sharing your story so openly, and welcome aboard. First off, huge respect to you as a mum of four and an RN, that’s a lot on your plate already, and the fact you’ve still pushed through gym, lifestyle changes and GLP-1s says a lot about your work ethic and mindset.

You’ve already proven you can get results, so this isn’t about “starting over”, it’s about refining the approach and doing it in a healthier, more sustainable way this time. Retatrutide can definitely be that next step when used properly, especially alongside consistent nutrition rather than under-eating and burning yourself out. You’ve got a great attitude coming into this and the whole point of the log and sponsorship is guidance, accountability and support, not starving yourself or chasing extremes. Looking forward to following along and helping you hit that goal weight properly this time 💪

Wow an RN and a mom of 4?!?! I can't begin to imagine how busy you must be all the time. High stress and low sleep can make it very hard for your body to lose weight even if you're doing everything perfectly. I'd imagine with all you got going on that's probably a thing right?

I think reta will be the game changer you're looking for and you'll have some great results!

Yeah I honestly can't think of anything more stressful then being a mother of 4...and then you add on one of the most stressful jobs in the world on top of that
.. seriously requires a huge effort, Retatrutide will definitely help tonnes

Talk about carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Somehow moms always manage to make it happen no matter what. All of us are here today because of them!

Hey sis.
Managing the stress of motherhood and a full time job like nursing is already a superhuman effort.

Reta completely changed my life.

I’ve been on for months and it’s completely transformed my body.

I’ll be following and reach out if you need a girl to talk to ❤️

@queenbee87 good to see you firing up this log as it pertains to these GLP-1s. It may come to a point where you decide to stay on them going forward. A small dose of even 1 mg every two weeks is something to consider.

Good advice, but I think you mean mg? 1mcg is 0.001mg and I wouldnt advise a dose that low

yes, correct. Milligrams. I'm not sure why the spell check put micrograms. That's definitely something that pisses me off. i went back and corrected it thanks

Welcome to the forums Queenbee!

The rebound hunger signalling from coming off of GLP's is borderline violent lol, especially after having been using them for so long. I'm excited for you to start the reta and curious to see what your experience will be with it.

What did your nutrition look like while you were on the other two, and do you have a plan for when you start the reta?

Retatrutide pre filled Pen Zenithhealth . 1st time using .

I want to express my gratitude to Zenithhealth for giving me the chance to experience and participate in running a log utilising Retatrutide. I’m a 38 year old female. Mother of 4 and Registered Nurse. For the last few years I have struggled with my weight and all things seemed impossible, the harder I seemed to try to lose weight the more weight I would seem to gain. At my heaviest I came in at 95kgs , being a gym enthusiast I understood the requirement of hard work in the gym but even that seemed to be failing me. The weight just refused to shift . The last year I had been using GLP1s. Started off on mounjaro using this consistently for 7 months then switching to semaglutide for the remaining 5 months losing a total of 22kgs overall. After sometime I felt they became ineffective and were just not working and I was pouring money into inconsistent results and my hair was falling out in clumps . For the last 2 months I’ve been having a break. The food noise is intense and consequently I’ve already gained back 4 kgs. I’ve been looking for a step up that can take my results that one step further. I can’t wait to give Retatrutide the time and attention it’s needs. Looking to implement some healthier eating habits , previously with no desire for food at all my health suffered long term as a result from starving for long periods of time . Also looking to finally hit that goal weight except this time with the guidance and support from zenithhealth

You're going to get some really good results on this. Hopefully you can really dial in your training and your diet. If you can do some fasted cardio every morning, that would be a blessing. @queenbee87

Good job putting up your pictures. @queenbee87 this gives you a good reference point, and you can shoot for some new goals to see what you're capable of doing. I would give yourself a 1-year goal, and let's revisit this in a year to see the type of progress you made.

@queenbee87 Sister, 77 kilograms, I think about 170 pounds, but I'm not 100% sure. That's not too bad. I think you definitely can lose 15 kilograms on this, no problem.

Well, if fat loss is your goal, you certainly chose wisely. Retatrutide is one of the best for that purpose. It's been shown to really help with fat loss more than any other drug out there. @queenbee87

Welcome to Evo. Good start to your log. Thanks for sharing all of the information. Congrats on the progress. Losing 22kg is impressive.

Are you able to show what a typical day of your current diet is like.

It will be important to make sure you're getting enough protein to help with muscle growth.

What is your gym routine like?

welcome now fully to the EVO family :D @queenbee87 thank you for sharing with us, you already got results, so it's a good start.

Your hair falling out is an issue we need to discuss, likely hormonal and dietary as wel.
have you done blood work?

can you please share with us your day to day training and nutrition for 10 day as you go so we can build a baseline? :D
Diet, Training, Cardio
Diet, please share foods and meals and when you eat them, macros would be good
Training, please share actual exercises reps sets and weights, as you go especially get stronger
cardio how much do you do? when etc
If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Or use an app like myfitness pal or cronometer. Very easy.

supplements
Are you taking high doses Vitamin C?
what digestive supps you use?
digestive enzymes?
multis?
probiotics?
psyllium husk?

thanks so much for your input and the advice I need to keep in mind when commencing my log.
When it comes to the hair loss it is something that I will be having a look into as it is a problem since using other weight loss supplements. I haven’t done bloodwork yet to see if my bloodwork can give an answer on the reason for hair loss but I would love to know what particular things you would look at when getting bloodwork done?
I’m definitely looking to get back into the gym and training as I’ve been honestly slack because of work and personal barriers, but yes, absolutely looking forward to logging my training cardio and definitely diet.
When it comes to supplements, all I’m taking at the moment is a collagen supplement and I’m currently running HGH at a low dose hopefully to get the anti-ageing benefit.
In appreciate the patience of everyone as I am new to logging New to this whole system but I can see that there’s a lot of experience out there that I could grasp from and guess I can have a look at some of the other female logs for this supplement that I’m taking and go from there

Welcome to Evo and great start to your log!!!
You will get a ton of motivation and support here. Looking forward to following your journey!!!
Thanks

Wow an RN and a mom of 4?!?! I can't begin to imagine how busy you must be all the time. High stress and low sleep can make it very hard for your body to lose weight even if you're doing everything perfectly. I'd imagine with all you got going on that's probably a thing right?

I think reta will be the game changer you're looking for and you'll have some great results!
Yes life is busy between me and my partner but I’m definitely in a resistant to change all that and try new things as Reta might be the changing thing that I’ve been looking for appreciate you taking the time and leaving a response to my log I guess I’m also looking for great results

Yeah I honestly can't think of anything more stressful then being a mother of 4...and then you add on one of the most stressful jobs in the world on top of that
.. seriously requires a huge effort, Retatrutide will definitely help tonnes
you can say that again but you´ve been a great help in this for me, and i guess its one less stress i dont need to worry about

You are obviously someone who cares a lot about other people. Sometimes for people like you it's hard to prioritize yourself because you're instinctually a caregiver. Try to make sometime in 2026 for yourself. Doesn't have to be a lot, and know you deserve it. Being good to yourself will result in you being better to others.

really appreciate you sharing your story so openly, and welcome aboard.

Looking forward to following along and helping you hit that goal weight properly this time 💪
Thank you @ZenithHealth. Ive been off to a fine start for results this week already and will do a log tomorrow as i prepare for injection #2 . Thanks for your time and patience as i still try to navigate this log. Looking forward to updating tomorrow.

Hey sis.
Managing the stress of motherhood and a full time job like nursing is already a superhuman effort.

Reta completely changed my life.

I’ve been on for months and it’s completely transformed my body.

I’ll be following and reach out if you need a girl to talk to ❤️
Hey Girl
Hard work being a mum and working full time. Nursing can be very emotionally draining and high stress but loving the challenges of life.
Im super excited for Reta, im in one injection and had good results so far,
Ive given you a follow. thanks for the support :) appreciate you.

@LevButlerov
The rebound was voilent and not something i had prepared for. I did not even wean just stopped thinking i would handle it, how wrong was i. My appetite barely existed for the year i was on them. I struggled to eat at all, a few bites and i was full. The side effects from that in the end was horrendous. My skin felt like it was burning even to touch it. Hoping i can improve my love hate relationship with food.

Welcome to EVO logging sister!

I'm looking forward to following your log I think you will see amazing results with Reta. Clinical data shows it's maximum therapeutic effect is at 48 weeks but at 24 weeks you'll see some body recomposition changes too and fat loss. I hope you stay with us the whole way I'll be following!

Following your journey Sister! I've had some good results with Reta thus far and feeling good on it. Looks like you have a very busy and demanding lifestyle, proud of you for choosing not to neglect your health!

I've been trying to convince my wife to get started on Reta, she tried Ozempic, had some good results but rebounded hard and put everything back on. Interested to see your thoughts since you have tried both!

You got this Sister! 💪

Age: 38
Height: 167cms
Start Weight: 77.8kgs (30 December 2025)
Goal Weight: 60kgs - 62kgs.
(More interested in a look then a number on the scale when i get there ill know)

Medication

Starting dose : OptiRip 10 ( Retatrutide) injection pen
Dose: 2.5mg (25 clicks)
Frequency: Once weekly
Injection day: Tuesday
Injection location: Abdomen (keeping 2-5cms from belly button) looking for fatty tissue for optimal drug absorption which isnt too hard to find at the moment, haha

Previous Medications
Mounjaro 5mg Vial
Semaglutide 10mg Vial
Duration: 12 months combined
Weight loss: 22kgs.

Side Effects
How amazing is Retatrutide. I had my first injection on Tuesday 30/12/25. I have been fortunate enough to have no negative side effects, which has been a real blessing. Previous medications had me feeling slightly nauseous around day 3 and depending on the type of foods i have eaten, frequent trips to the toilet :poop:. BUT nothing from Reta . My dose is a starting dose at 2.5mg however nil complaints so far at this dosage.

Positives

  • Food Noise had almost completely returned to a level where its manageable by day 2 post injection, The food noise was voilent pre injection and some days i would binge eat bags of skittles and red bulls. ( dont judge me) Skittles are addictive.
  • Weight loss Its been an amazing week for weight loss.
  • Starting weight was 77.8 kgs Weighed in this morning 75.95 kgs
  • Weight loss: 1.9 kgs down in the first 7 days.
  • Energy : Have noticed a peak in energy levels which i have not felt for a long while. Its been nice to be able to complete tasks without feeling complete burn out and needing to stop and sleep. This is exciting for me.
Supplements

HGH: 5IU weekly
Collagen supplement 1 tablet daily
There has been a few others suggested to me so i will also look into these as i progress

Nutrition

Still working on nutrition, i have a love/hate relationship with food, im either starving or im binge eating. The last week there has been a great improvement in the type of food i have been putting into my body and in time my logs surrounding calorie intake , proteins carbs etc will be available as i build data . This morning i have re downloaded Macro factor app and began logging what I'm eating. Have since begun to weigh all my foods out and plan of keeping a close eye on the diet to see where i can make myself accountable in areas worthy of change.

Breakfast
2 eggs on 1 x toast
Africian Masia Bean Coffee skim milk
Red Bull Zero mid morning as i was bond cleaning the old house.

Lunch

102gram of steamed broc
161 gram of sweet potato
161 grams of Chicken breast

I usually like High protein Yoghurts, granola, and berries bananas for snacks
If i am working and have not had time to prep ill usually grab a muscle chef meal or something high in protein,
Like i said some work to still be done in the area but hopefully some promising data moving forward.

Training
Been slack here but hoping to make a re entrance back to the gym this week had about a month off due to physically not being able to train from previous health issues. I would usually hit the gym 4-5 days a week with my partner. I use the HEVY app to track all work outs. My usual training style would look a little something like this as a brief overview.

Leg days/ glutes - 25 sets
leg extensions , single leg press, seated leg curls , calf raises, hip abduction/ hip adduction, hip thrusts.

Arms 17 sets
Tricep pushdowns. hammer curls, bicep curl, preacher curls, tricep extensions.

Shoulders & chest 25 sets
Shoulder press, lateral raises.bench press, incline chest fly , face pulls, rear delt reverse fly , chest press, skull crushers chest dips.

Back days- usually 21 sets ,
back extensions, lat pulldown cables including close grip, seated cable rows, single arm lats, chin up assisted

Leg days/ glutes - 25 sets
leg extensions , single leg press, seated leg curls , calf raises, hip abduction/ hip adduction, hip thrusts.

Arms 17 sets
Tricep pushdowns. hammer curls, bicep curl, preacher curls, tricep extensions.

Shoulders & chest 25 sets
Shoulder press, lateral raises.bench press, incline chest fly , face pulls, rear delt reverse fly , chest press, skull crushers chest dips.

Abs - 18 sets
Knee raises parallel bar, Crunch ab machine, cable twist, russian twist weighted and planking,

CARDIO - what cardio . I literally will do anything to get out of it, and thats where i am at with that. 😓

Yay girl 🥰

The hgh is at game changer for us elder millennials. After the first month or so, I noticed a HUGE benefit to sleep quality.

Helps with fat loss and muscle growth, but I think that’s more at higher doses.

I do 1 iu a night pre bed. I did bloodwork before and after, and my hgh levels are just off the reference range, and my IGF1 levels were upper middle.

ALL of Hollywood does it!

There is still time for Hot girl summer, and there is a spot on the bus for you 😝

I had good results on others, 22kgs over 12 months which was amazing but like your wife i too started to regain , Ive just started on reta and already have found it to be amazing in just one week. I would def recommend your wife to give it a go whenever she is ready, Being on ozempic and literally having no appetite it was amazing in one way but coming off and not preparing yourself during that time for the food noise to return was voilent. i was not prepared. So very easy to put it back on and fast. Hence this time im here for support and accountability to get my diet right and do things the right way.

Absolutely smashed week one 👏

First off, thank you for the shout out and for trusting me with your journey. This is exactly the kind of honest, detailed log that helps everyone following along, not just you. You should be proud of how open you’ve been about the process, flaws, food noise, Skittles and all 😄

From a Retatrutide perspective, this is textbook early response. Appetite control kicking in quickly, food noise dropping to a manageable level, zero GI sides, and that noticeable lift in energy is something I see a lot with Reta compared to sema or tirz. The fact you’re feeling better rather than flat or nauseous is a big win and a strong sign you’re well suited to it.

Nearly 2kg down in week one is solid, but what I like more is your mindset shift. You’re clearly focused on the look, body composition, and sustainability, not just chasing a scale number. Re-downloading MacroFactor and weighing food is a big step forward for accountability, even if it’s not perfect yet. Progress beats perfection every time.

Training-wise, don’t beat yourself up. Health comes first, and the gym will always be there. Even a gradual re-entry, a couple of sessions a week to start, will pair beautifully with Reta once your body allows it. Cardio… we’ll talk about that later 😅 one step at a time.

Overall, this is an excellent first week and a very strong foundation. Injection two is where things usually start to feel even more consistent, so I’m excited to see how week two unfolds for you.

Keep doing exactly what you’re doing: log honestly, listen to your body, and build momentum. The EVO family has your back, and so do I. 💪🔥

Good that you are seeing some benefits from the reta but not getting any side effects.

That meal looks good. Bodybuilding staples right there!

WEEK TWO Log- Retatrutide

As always a shout out to @ZenithHealth for always being an inbox away with whatever support and guidance i need. This week Reta has thrown me some resistance with food noise returning 3-4 days post injection and slightly up this week on the scales for weight but overall its been a positive week with my return to training and being consistent across the board whether its consistent in a good or bad way. Ive had to reach out this week for some trouble shooting with my dose and im very thankful for Zenith Health commitment and quick responses to anything ive required.

Medication

Starting dose : OptiRip 10 ( Retatrutide) injection pen
Dose: 5mg 🔺
Frequency: Injected Tuesday and sunday this week
Injection location: Abdomen (keeping 2-5cms from belly button) looking for fatty tissue for optimal drug absorption
HERES WHATS NEW: This week there has been an increase in my dosage, I started off week one with Reta at 2.5mg dose and the results were amazing, This week started out with a 2.5mg Injection on Tuesday with the OptiRip 10mg pen, By the Friday the food noise had returned with vengeance. I reached out for support to @ZenithHealth to trouble shoot. For me personally I feel i have quiet a high tolerance to these medications which is unfortunate however after some guidance and support, Sunday we decided a second injection of 2.5mg was relevant to keep my levels balanced. This was a good decision as has kept me on track to keep me focused hard on my goals.

Previous Medications
Mounjaro 5mg Vial
Semaglutide 10mg Vial
Duration: 12 months combined
Weight loss: 22kgs.

Side Effects

I have had an increase in dosage this week going from 2.5mg once weekly to 2 x 2.5mg injections Total 5mg. There was some slight nausea on Sunday after the 2nd injection but it only hung around for a few hours at bed time and had subsided by the time i woke in the morning. I had also noticed my GI a little more upset when i ate dinner and had those awful Sulfur burps ( If you know you know) again this didnt take long to subside . Overall the week for side effects for the increase of dosage was great.

Positives & setbacks

  • Food Noise- Food noise came back sooner than I hoped however trouble shooting and increasing my dosage provided relief to stay on track with my goals
  • Weight loss: Minor setbacks this week from a scale weight loss prospective. I feel this could be reflective on many reasons such as returning to weight training in the gym, Hormonal shifts for mid cycle maybe some fluid retention and defiantly some bloating happening.
  • Starting weight was 77.8 kgs .
  • Week 1 weigh in 75.95 kgs
  • Week 2 weigh in 76.3 kgs
  • Weight loss: ❌⬆️400 grams
  • Energy : Energy levels have remained stable and i love this about Reta.
Supplements

HGH: 5IU weekly
Collagen supplement 1 tablet daily

Nutrition

This week i have been using macrofactor to log my calorie intake, I just wanted to see where i am currently sitting and to be able to look back and observe where im not making the best choices. Ive been averaging around 1500-1550 calories per day , this by all means is not keeping me in a deficit, and i have found its more maintenance . I opted for high protein focused intake but ended up being quiet carb focused. Quiet a few poor choices made in the types of food ive consumed also however i did manage to do this and still stay strict for intake. As always my relationship with food is not good but that is something i will continue to try and focus on.

Breakfast

Generally dont like breakfast but this week ive been making a conscious effort for this and have alternated between

▶️ 1 x slice of bread and eggs on toast
▶️Banana and coffee
▶️Vegemite on Toast

Lunch

▶️ Greek yoghurt with granola
▶️ Yo Pro yoghurts with 15g of protein
▶️hot cross buns  or cheese and bacon roll have slide there way into my macros :sneaky:

Dinner

▶️
Silverside & Vegies with white sauce
▶️beef goulash
▶️ red meat with vegies
▶️ butter chicken and rice

Ive usually weighed all my food out on scales to meet my macros/calorie intake. Food needs an overhaul which im trying to focus on

Been another great week on Reta. Had some wins , also had some downfalls but overall the weeks end has been positive. Still some inconsistencies in my foods and im okay with that while i try to find whats working for me and whats not, I did win with some cardio to finish my arm day even if it was just 14 minutes . Doing an overhaul of my gym routine this week to reflect more my personal weight loss goals while maintaining muscle mass .

Doing an overhaul of my gym routine this week to reflect more my personal weight loss goals while maintaining muscle mass .

Amazing update! Blown away by the level of detail here!
Macro factor is a great little app - I find it to be accurate for the expenditure estimate if you log your nutrition & weight daily. The ‘coached’ nutrition strategy is good too & auto adjusts your plan based on the data you feed it.

Thank you for your reply. Reassuring to know im on the right track with macro factor as im still trying to work out that app but i will defiantly go and see if im in coached nutrition mode and add in some daily weights moving forward. This may help me while im still trying to work out this whole food business. ill keep feeding it data and it can keep doing its thing. hahah

Awesome week two update and a really solid, honest log overall.

The small scale bump doesn’t worry me at all. You’ve returned to training, added volume, and there are clearly a few variables in play like inflammation, glycogen, and some fluid retention. That’s normal and temporary. The bigger picture is consistency, adherence, and how you’re feeling, and all of those look strong.

Big win getting back into the gym and laying everything out so clearly. Training quality, awareness around food choices, and accountability are all moving in the right direction. We’ll keep refining as we go and make sure Reta is working with you, not against you.

Proud of the way you’re approaching this. Keep pushing and stay patient. The results will follow. 💪

Welcome to Evo @queenbee87. What an awesome couple of log updates. A pro already in a couple of weeks. Love the training so far, but are you going to throw some leg training in at some point. Any type of leg training is not only great for the weight loss you are chasing but also gives balance to your body overall.
Ret is amazing as you are already finding and I look forward to following you along on your journey. Evo Fam Love sister 🩵

Food needs an overhaul which im trying to focus on

yes been using macrofactor at the minute. 1500-1550 calories per day, been a bit hit and miss though choosing the right food. regardless i stayed on target. Intially hoped for higher protein intake, but suprised myself and ended up being more carb heavy, but thats cause i found myself eating shit like hot cross buns and cheese and bacon roll for lunch, instead of chicken and broc or something sensible. never mind there is always room for improvement this week ....

@queenbee87 the longer you stay on these GLP-1s, I feel like the food noise won't get any better as your body adjusts. It's very important to just clean up your lifestyle and don't keep junk food in your house and you won't be tempted to eat it.

I disagree, being on Retatrutide my food noise is completely gone, I used to be a compulsive eater and would demolish any snacks in my general vicinity, since I started Retatrutide (and to a lesser extent Semaglutide) my food noise is completely gone. I have snacks in the house and I just don't even touch them.

In my experience, if you have food noise, it just means your dose isnt high enough.

the studies on obese people have them using super high dosages relative to what we use.
but with us, your metabolism will be so turbocharged on them the longer you stay on that you will find yourself able to eat more and not gain anything. especially when you are training hard. also things like increased urination and being more thirsty are also things to look out for, again especially considering we sweat, exercise and drink more then the avg fat obese person studies were done on.

having said all that she shouldn't need a super high dosage at her size. i still wouldn't push past 3-4mgs a week max. but yeah obviously if she increases the dose she won't want anything to do with food 100% you are correct

Yeah but to be fair the older we get the more of a boost to metabolism we need.

I do think 3-4mg will be suitable for her, don't forget she has a history with using glp-1s before, and with Semaglutide you can build up a tolerance very quickly.

But you do bring up good points on what kind of people the studies were conducted on.

yeah its important for us to relay our own experiences on these. obviously considering reta isn't even fda approved that is the only way we can learn.

i've already said many times already that i feel like these glp'1s are almost mandatory in america considering our food economy and food quality is so corrupted.

Cant agree with you more brother, glp-1s are going to solve alot of problems when they become more wildly accessible.

Brilliant back and foward. One of the many things I love about Evo is that a respectful, educated interaction can be had where the parties don't necessarily agree. It happens here often. The maturity and conduct of the above is indicative of the community that is being fostered. Bravo 👏 🩵

Back, day, shoulders, and chest are fantastic. @queenbee87 also, your arm day is looking really strong. Keep it up.

Really proud of you. You're making some good progress on this. The shoulders and chest look fantastic. And I love the arm day as well. It's all fantastic. Keep it up. @queenbee87

Mine has disappeared, if wasn't for set meals. I would miss them. And I thank @ZenithHealth for let me log his products and teach me his dosing protocol

The 5mg dose has been effective in suppressing my food noise this week. Less noise better food choices

Great to hear! You just need to listen to your body and find that sweet spot, for me on an aggressive cut its 9mg (very high i know), but on maintenance 5mg works for me very well

@queenbee87 the longer you stay on these GLP-1s, I feel like the food noise won't get any better as your body adjusts. It's very important to just clean up your lifestyle and don't keep junk food in your house and you won't be tempted to eat it.

I had been on GLP1s for a bit over a year with alot of success (sema and tirzepatide). The food noise was never an issue while on them, for some reason it just became ineffective for weight loss, my thyroid levels dropped , hair falling out, body stinging and due to the cost i decided to come off for while, the food noise coming off was violent though. I think i will be suited to around 4mg a week. If i can keep the food noise at bay i am more conscious about the food choices im making. Thanks for your valuable input as navigate Reta through trial and error.

WOW 9mgs. i wouldnt eat for a month. i think 4-5mg would be effective if i consider injections twice weekly to keep levels more stable. hopefully less side effects then taking a large dose all at once. i always have found by day 5 any of these medications tend to lose the effect and need a re dose. This is something i will play with until i get it right ☺️

Haha yeah, I am a trained professional, don't try this at home kids 🤣

And yeah i absolutely agree with splitting injections up throughout the week, i personally do daily injections and I absolutely love it, keeps things very stable with no high highs or low lows

It might be a situation where you will need to stay on a maintenance dose going forward something like 1 mg a week or even 1 mg every two weeks

im far from a trained professional in this fields anyway, so ill stick to dosing as im told hahaha

Hey babes.

Don’t fear the idea of being on these peptides long term.

Even if it’s just a maintenance dose year round.

Treat it the same way the boys here treat their TRT.

Awesome update!

I wouldn't worry about the weight increase, particularly if you only weigh yourself weekly. You might have just got yourself on a high day.

As you said, looks like you need to get the protein up. The breakfast and lunch meals look quite low.

@queenbee87 These are some really great weekly updates. Detailed and thorough. I can see you're really committed and with all the life responsibilities you have it's extra admirable that you're making this time for your health and fitness.

There's no shame in putting the kids first and having to leave the gym I liked that in fact!

some weird chest machine??
This gave me a chuckle LOL. Your volume is pretty high and it shows you're ready to put the time in the gym to achieve that 'look' you want vs. the scale numbers.

We got your back sister!

WEEK 3 Log- Retatrutide

So very appreciative as always for @ZenithHealth . I am profoundly grateful for your trust and support on my Retatrutide Journey. Never a message left unanswered however the true recognition this week though should really go to the quality of your products. I am really loving all the positives of what Reta is offering me in terms of not only weight loss but food noise and very little side effects. Im very excited for whats coming as i continue to work on the changes i need to benefit the most out of Reta.

Medication

Starting dose : OptiRip 10 ( Retatrutide) injection pen
Dose: 5mg 🔺
Frequency: twice weekly
Injection location: Abdomen (keeping 2-5cms from belly button) looking for fatty tissue for optimal drug absorption

HERES WHATS NEW:
This week the 2 x 2.5mg doses have been really impressive in reducing the food noise, I have not been hungry at all which has been nice as that means this week ive been able to really make more consistent efforts in my food choices. I have been able to say No to a bag of Skittles 🚫 among many other things and i have put in great effort to prep lunch time meals and remain consistent across the entire week . i am really happy that the food noise issues have been resolved this week by increasing the intial dose from 2.5mg to 5mg. This week i will be switching from the OptiRip 10 injection pen to 20mg Vials of Reta.

Previous Medications

Side Effects
During week two i increased my current dose and experienced some mild side effects including post injection nausea, as well as an upset GI and some sulfur burps. These side effects were all self resolving within a few hours, i have had no further side effects this week which has been amazing. :)

Positives & setbacks

  • ➕Having "no food noise" meant quieting persistent, intrusive thoughts about food, this has been helpful in fighting with mental resistance and fatigue and focus on breaking unhealthy habits.

  • Week 1 weigh in 75.95 kgs
  • Week 2 weigh in 76.3 kgs
  • Week 3 weigh in 75.8 kgs

  • Hair is falling out: I have defiantly spoke about this issue from previous experiences with GLP1s . However my hair is on the increase again and just falling out and im talking fair amounts of hair daily , Id love some suggestions on blood work i can request from my doctor or what may be the issue going on here, Previously i had my thyriod checked in july my THS came back 0.26ml U/L it was advised i recheck in 3 months to which the levels returned to normal range 0.4. Can anyone offer me further guidance and support please, i cant stand losing my hair and so much of it . This week ive added in some multivitamin gummies and vitamin b Gummies.

Great update overall. Training sessions look solid, especially that glute day, no wonder it took days to recover. Food noise control on the split dosing is a big win and it’s clearly helping consistency with food.

On the hair loss, it’s unfortunately pretty common with aggressive calorie deficits and GLP1s. I’d look at iron/ferritin, B12, folate, zinc, vitamin D, full thyroid panel not just TSH, and cortisol if possible. Also make sure protein stays high and calories aren’t pushed too low for too long..But that being said im no expert when it comes to hair loss as I havent experienced it myself, @LevButlerov any ideas?

Some supplements to take would definitely be things like biotin, zinc and iron if you are deficient

I was very iron deficient but recently had an iron infusion , so thats one problem ive solved. I do still need to attempt an increase in protein so thinking shakes added in might help with the boost. I will speak to my doctor about a full panel . thank you

WEEK 3 Log- Retatrutide

Mounjaro 5mg Vial
Semaglutide 10mg Vial
Duration: 12 months combined
Weight loss: 22kgs.

Side Effects
During week two i increased my current dose and experienced some mild side effects including post injection nausea, as well as an upset GI and some sulfur burps. These side effects were all self resolving within a few hours, i have had no further side effects this week which has been amazing. :)

Positives & setbacks

  • ➕Having "no food noise" meant quieting persistent, intrusive thoughts about food, this has been helpful in fighting with mental resistance and fatigue and focus on breaking unhealthy habits.
  • ➕ Using macro factor i have been tracking weight loss daily. My weight has been treading downwards all week in a slow and steady pace which has been nice.
  • Starting weight 77.8 kgs .
  • Week 1 weigh in 75.95 kgs
  • Week 2 weigh in 76.3 kgs
  • Week 3 weigh in 75.8 kgs

  • Energy: ❌ slight decrease in energy this week. Mentally and emotionally its been a stressful week , i have been spending a bit more time trying to rest and recover after a hectic month of moving house, bond cleaning, school holidays, etc I am heading back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks off but now i need a holiday from the holiday i have just had.

I also get the sulfur burps from Retatrutide, I found lowering my dose was the only real thing that helped. Unsure about the hair loss but would imagine as the guys above have said adding those vitamins would help for sure.

Super log update @queenbee87 . Your workout volume is really impressive as is the range of movements you are getting done.
I can't advise at all on hair loss either and will defer to the more expert Evo brothers and sisters in this particular area.
I will say my missus uses a few collegen products and she takes Ret at 3mg a week and has no issues with hair loss at 57. She is also prone to it and paranoid about doing so 😁🩵

I have been able to say No to a bag of Skittles 🚫
Zero skittles win here!!!

Hair is falling out
I've noticed that since I've upped my dose of GHK-Cu my hair (which used to be painfully thin, so thin I'd never cut the top of my hair) is now getting thicker looking. Maybe something to consider along with collagen peptides and biotin but the GHK-Cu was the game changer for me.

I got in a killer Glute day which has taken me 4 days to recover from
Now that's a proper glute day!

Love your log too by the way it continues to be an adventure to read your updates!
