Saturday did legs and some light shoulder work

Sunday I drove home, took the day off and did the same as today. I am pretty sote and the sleeping in felt good!!

On the drop set hammer curls, I did as many as I could with each weight, 35lbs to 15 lbs in 5lb increments for 1 set….at the very least 10 each
On the preacher machine, I didn’t even count, I just went to failure on each set, It was a lot.
On the cable rows, it was 100lbs for 3 sets of as many as I could do….i was down to barely doing partials at the end of each set.
I went hard today and at the same time, protected the shoulder by not going to heavy.
Will do the same tomorrow for push day while doing chest and will save light shoulders for leg day.

Yes sir!! When it is singing, I move into a nice mode of just good movement with light weight and still getting a pump. Tomorrow is push day, will really lighten up chest but push out A LOT of reps…..very controlled with some really good form to take the pressure off the shoulder. Very careful!!!

Why would anyone weigh their meals uncooked? Wouldn't this be weighing a lot of water and fat when weighing it cooked takes the guesswork out of it? Genuinely curious.

I used to weigh my red meat raw in my 2025 log but I've stopped doing that now since water and fat varies from cut to cut and depending on how you cook it leaves a lot of fat on.

Exactly! What i did find out was that my calorie tracker was not accurate and was way understating most of my protein.

I wanted to talk and ramble a little.

My GF, I adore her and would give the beating heart from my very chest to her if she needed it, said something to me the other day.
She started with a positive and said she has never in her life laid with anyone as strong as I am, and she loves it, and then went on to say that for all the muscle, what is the point if I am always sore and kind of move like I am a bit gimpy, and she doesn’t understand why I do what I do at the hours that I do it.
She is a bit bent about the hours I keep and was pretty harsh about it. I handled it with understanding.
I tried to convey that I sometimes move like I am hurting, because I am truly sore as hell, but when I take off days and heal, I am great and until our relationship possibly moves into a situation where we cohabitate, then what it is is exactly what it is!! She kind of accepted that. I am who I am and is all a part of who she is attracted too.

Has anyone had to navigate waters like this?
I am truly in love with this woman, but what do I do if my passion to be strong and fit begins to cause real conflict?

She is a great human being but has never dated a person that does what we do. She accepts the PED use, but has a hard time with other things

I suggest you love her and appreciate her but always take it slow, living together can change things too much so always step back and go slow with relationships.

Saturday morning 0105 hours
Opening with 45 minutes cardio

I will log my workout after I get home.
I wanted to talk and ramble a little.

My GF, I adore her and would give the beating heart from my very chest to her if she needed it, said something to me the other day.
She started with a positive and said she has never in her life laid with anyone as strong as I am, and she loves it, and then went on to say that for all the muscle, what is the point if I am always sore and kind of move like I am a bit gimpy, and she doesn’t understand why I do what I do at the hours that I do it.
She is a bit bent about the hours I keep and was pretty harsh about it. I handled it with understanding.
I tried to convey that I sometimes move like I am hurting, because I am truly sore as hell, but when I take off days and heal, I am great and until our relationship possibly moves into a situation where we cohabitate, then what it is is exactly what it is!! She kind of accepted that. I am who I am and is all a part of who she is attracted too.

Has anyone had to navigate waters like this?
I am truly in love with this woman, but what do I do if my passion to be strong and fit begins to cause real conflict?

She is a great human being but has never dated a person that does what we do. She accepts the PED use, but has a hard time with other things
@MarkNV man, I've heard all kinds of things over the years. At the end of the day my advice is just to listen to what she's saying and try and educate her on how weight training works and how you have to break down the muscle to have it grow stronger. I think she'll understand after you explain it.

She has just never been around anyone who is so totally dedicated to it. She is just trying to figure out the mindset of why someone would get out bed at 0130 to go and totally deplete themselves and then go to bed early to get the sleep required.
I never complain about being sore, but she sees it and asks why would I do that to myself.
She herself has lost upwards of a 160 lbs and has done it without surgery and drug free, so I know she understands the dedication but still, she doesn’t get it 😂

People out there are very strange. I had a woman tell me a couple months ago that I must be in AA if I don't drink, which was a very weird statement. Either you drink or you're in AA according to her view of the world. I've given up a long time ago on figuring out how people think.

Me too brother!! Anymore these days, I just roll with whatever
I have a friend that lives in Lake Worth, seems like the closer to the beach you get, the stranger the people get
