Approved Log My Summer muscle build cycle log

Turns out little ones tumour isnt wilms tumour but a neuro blastoma. Starts chemo tomorrow. Awaiting further results still to see how much its spread. Upside is he may come hom weeks in between chemo sessions

First 2 rounds of chrmo completed for little man. Another round tomorrow and sunday. Currently been awake almost 2 days but finally got him down to sleep so bout to catch some z's myself. Thanks for the D&m last night for the member involved. Actually made me feel great within my recent decisions in life. Felt good getting shit off my chest without fear of judgement. Ive had a couple of recent times wiyh a couple of members and it has shown that i have a supportive group standing in my corner even though i have never met any of you in real life. Hope u all have a great sleep and massive gains over night.

Even legg press was hard. Will be doing couple weeks a little lighter on squats, will be doing back tomorrow and chest day after. Then back to hospital for few days. Definately just tightness on my back probably from awkwardly carrying little one and reduced sleep at hospital. Ill have to google what sissy squat open means lol

Geez you're starting to hit some good weights there!

With the squats, they can be tricky if you're not built for them. I don't think I'll ever back squat again. You could try front squats instead. Generally takes the lower back out of it.

I think it was just general stiffness caused from lack of movement and shitty hospital bed. Feels alot better already no pain just stiff. In the back of my mind i knew i should have started slower. First set felt great.

Yeah was going to make a comment about that. Similar to if you are in a car all day. I highly recommend mobility work before leg workouts. As an example, Google search DeFranco agile 8. Do that and some body weight squats and lunges to loosen up.

Just wanted to say aswell, i think its finally sunk in to the ex that we arnt together. I was at cafe at the hospital and a random female told me i had a glorius beard and asked to touch it. Me with 36 hours no sleep said sure. Well the ex came into cafe while a random was stroking my beard. The look was priceless

Still killing it on the treadmill bro great work!! Good you listened to your body and stopped after the second set of squats.

I have learnt alot in the few months i have been on here, and the key is listen to ur body. I should have properly listened as i couldnt use right arm due to shoulder artgritis playing up from fatigue. But i am getting better at listening to it. Reading the wonderful females log like @Iron_rose1 @RogueCherry @Alice_In_Ironland and @Panda22 has opened my eyes to how much more intune females are with their body and i am trying to get there. This will enable me to get great results with limited risk of injury.

Such a smart decision!! Especially when it comes to your back. It’s a challenge in itself not pushing through - but there’s so many other ways to complete your workout without taking risks.

Glad to hear it was tight muscles and not anything more serious. Sleeping in the wrong position not in your own bed and even carrying kids around can create unevenness pretty quickly and impact your movements.

Sounds like you’re already all over it - but it’s good to remember that we do this to be the best versions of ourselves especially for your kids - and being the best version of you isn’t having a debilitating injury.

Fasted glucose a little high at 5.6 but high stress will do that. Increased gh to 4iu at night on training days and keeping @2 non training days.
Mots-c and slu being added thursday. Lets see if doing 10days ss31 prior and adding nad changes effects.

Dont look too bad considering the fortnight ive had, dont mind the mess just finished showering the eldest. Slowly getting diet dialled in. Creatine arrived today so 25 grams straight up in morning. Question will that techniquely break being fasted as prefer to wait 90 minutes post having mito stack before eating or anything as usually get 2-3k steps in around house before kid wakes up.

Reason for 25g not 30 is my preworkout has 5g creatine.

Creatine at 30g is a huge win! High dose creatine is really underrated. As long as you're not taking your preworkout for the creatine and it's just straight creatine you're good to go for still being fasted just be sure and use water only to stay fasted.

Fasted 3k steps is another win too bro, it's really showing in your latest pic you're leaning out really well!

creatine you can do AM and pre training but dont go high dose or you'll get issues with digestion go with 5 grams increments up weekly

I am glad though that now you have realised it and listening to your body. I think society has progammed males in such a way up to an extent. When in pain, been told to walk it off 🤣

Ok, after readin mots superthread. Knowing i have a bloods schedule lined up perfect for this science experiment. I was running mots @2mg fasted am. As the study showed it help lft's at 25mg. I am planning to try 10mg am and pm so when i have bloods before, at end of sdroll, and 4-6 weeks after. I will be using this data to see effects of sdroll on my body at 10mg preworkout. Never know next time might be able to increase if high dose mots keeps it under control.

I have 9 vials 40mg mots currently so if anyone knows a vendor that eould like to test for science happy to work with you and will get posted in mots superthread.

Yeah im currently taking 5mg 3 times a day. Some days have been hit or miss though. I was fasted this morning. Obviously had carbs pre, during workout.

Gym definately helps me through though.

Body feels like it getting back into condition.

I feel the igf-1lr has definately added some size to certain muscles like my biceps. Quads are definately looking clean and starting to show proper seperation

And another note, i no longer take my lyrica. It has been over a week of just forgetting to take it, but even after legs today (squats usually hurt my back a little due to compression of disks) and i actually feel good. Hopefully it is now an only as required nerve pain med now. Plus im glad i had no withdrawls from it. Oops

I know there will be days where i may require them but it this stage doing well. Also prescribed med canna so hopefully if pain flares i can just use that instead of the bad stuff. Feels good finally off pharma for the most part. Now more wiggle room for getting huge lol. Once the little one is through this part of life im sure ill get enjoyment in other parts of life too. Its a bit of a head fk right now but slowly building a friends network again that is supportive. Plus you guys and girls rock on here! If i never found this forum i dont know where id be now.

Yeah i have tesa ordered. With igf i am cycling after 4 weeks. Then upto 4 weeks sdrol then 4 weeks igf. Just awaiting results of todays bloods and will post here and in the mots mega thread. Looking fwd to see how much difference 10mg mots am and pm is making on lft's.

Preworkout taken give it 15 then igf before a monster back session. Followed by sauna for recovery. Perfect timing for carb dinner as a mates making spag bog.
Also ordered some elite gut support from @RGSX . Love all their products so far. Using elite sleep andcycle support.

Im just doing more sets at moment with lighter weights to get conditioning back due to spending a bit of time out of gym and at the hospital. Just a few sessions like this then back up to 2 high weights and a back off set.

1hour fasted cardio this morning. 16% incline 3kmh. After a decent nights sleep i could have gone forever. Food then hopefully allowed to see kids and walk my eldest to daycare. Then hopefully able to spend time with the youngest before chest day later this arvo/tonight.

Must have dropped a bunch of water last day or 2 as waist fasted this morning was 30.7inches. Unsure of weight as dont have scales in the van.
