Good week. Most major lifts went up in weight, felt amazing in the gym with a really strong mind muscle connection.
At my heaviest today since I started a few weeks ago.
Cardio is basically non existent, which has taken me a bit to get used to but I realise that cutting it is helping me to make some strength gains and ultimately put some tissue on which is the main aim right now, so I'm happy with that.
Coach @PopRox19 has bumped insulin to 3iu preworkout, I'm absolutely sold on insulin now, I think it's helping with everything.

Today was back, hams and triceps and each session the strength is climbing, which is always enjoyable.
Cardio still basically non existent apart from some 30-45 walks, which has definitely allowed the body to put everything into training.
Took a couple of snaps post workout, think I'm filling out a bit.

Progressed on most lifts today except the single arm dumbell preacher, just can't get past 10 reps on 20kg, biceps are being stubborn bastards.
Other than that, not much else to report on. Still feeling good in the gym and riding the momentum.

Nice easy update brother. Obviously getting a lot of confidence in how your strength is progressing upping lifts like that. Biceps are soooo stubborn. Only exercise I routinely fail is ezy bar curls. Annoying as hell. Love that things have settled around you now and your greatest concern today is DB preachers 🙂🩵

Arms can be bloody stubborn brother! I found lowering the load for a couple weeks, work in the 15-20 rep range then going back to the higher load and lower reps has helped push pash plateaus…. Give it a shot!!

Nice update brother. Love the consistency 🔥🔥

Had a bit of a stomach bug yesterday that had me spending a fair amount of time in the toilet which wasn't fun. Pulled up better today and got all meals in.
Once again 3iu insulin preworkout and my intra carbs gave me some great pumps and fullness. A couple of progressions made on either weight or reps so pleased with the session overall.
We were talking about calves in the raptor chat and I threw this one in there which got some positive reactions (thanks fellas appreciate it) so thought I'd share it with the community here.

Yeah I've been taking a probiotic since I went on antibiotics for my lip a few weeks ago. Finished the course of antibiotics but continued use of probiotic

with the biceps - i have seen guys with huge arms never go past 15kg DB's - I guess its more about the execution past a certain point

Yeah I've been taking a probiotic since I went on antibiotics for my lip a few weeks ago. Finished the course of antibiotics but continued use of probiotic
when you have a bad stomach activated charcoal is a big one :D

I'm enjoying not doing cardio I won't lie haha. Nah it's been a gradual shift in mindset that is starting to pay dividends. There's no doubt the amount of cardio i was previously doing (running, swimming, peloton bike) was hindering strength and size gains and just keeping me lean. Nice now to be seeing progress.

Thanks Lev sorry to say but woke this morning and the gut is bad again. Haven't been able to stomach any food all day so it's a lot worse than when I had it last week. I don't think my gut healed and was still inflamed

Thanks brother. The bug is back unfortunately, no eating and training through it this time just rest and hydration for the next few days. Got my session in this morning then things went south after that.

Legs is a funny one, I stopped training for years when I got into distance running. Then years of running I developed a fracture in the bottom of my right femur. This was about 2023. So stopped running and got back into gym. Couldn't train legs with any sort of intensity and my right leg has been noticeably smaller since the injury.
In fact I've only been able to do a full range of motion leg extension since about the start of this year.

The novorapid has been unreal for strength, fullness and endurance. 3iu is my sweet spot it seems
