Nice lighter higher volume day today. In the books. Will just be running lower weights for the next month. Let the body recover from heavy singles. Happy lifting!![]()
We have done it before. Our lighter is still pretty heavy as you don’t want to lose the strength. we just focus on a bit more volume on accessory. We will drop compound movement weights a bit and increase volume back to 5s maybe more vs singles doubles. It’s a lot easier to do doubles! Volume comes in the other movements. Not easier just exhausting in a different way! If it’s too heavy then joints and tendons don’t get a rest. Happy medium is what you gotta find.@RoidRageWife high volume day for sure, I did read on @RoidRage69 log you guys are switching to more bodybuilding training, will be interesting how it goes sister
@RoidRageWife Okay, that makes perfect sense. Thanks! I just started going narrow last 2 squat days. I’ve always been average shoulder width toes out some bur narrower forward feels better and I feel a bit more power! My knees don’t seem to fall in either. So Thats good

Sorry guys. I was soo hungry I forgot to take pics plus was a nicer Restraunt chain Anthony’s! Always usually on The water. This one on puget sound down by where we drive onto the ferry boat to go visit our daughter and her fiancé. Bunch of kids coming in for dinner dressed up for prom night! Mr and I split a cup of clam chowder & Caesar salad. I Halibut dish with a rhubarb coulis sauce with rice pilaf asparagus a hard cider. Mr had pan fried oysters same sides bottle of root beer. I ate the whole damn thing even with the Semaglutide on board. And we split a strawberry rhubarb slump with ice cream! Rhubarb is this months seasonal featured fruit for deserts & drinks. So today was the day!! Finally hit 300lbs all time PR. I stalled a little out of the hole but got that shit up! I rested and tried for another single but did need a slight spot. But that’s a win! So excited to finally get over that hump! Will back off the heavy now and will hit it again in a month or so! Did not get back to 385 deadlift but the gains I’ve made have been remarkable as Mr @RoidRage69 stated earlier. 35lbs on my squat, 25lbs on my bench and 40lbs on my deadlift. 100llbs total!! Over bout 3 months
Thats at 145lbs ish bodyweight! Proud of myself for getting here. Ok happy lifting!!

Oh dear you’re mistaken my friend! Very good eating! Alaskan Halibut is like the highest caliber high end fish. Like Alaskan king salmon is called king for a reason. Halibut is the king of white meat fish. Alaskan seafood in general is sought after world wide it’s the highest quality! it’s the cold waters the fish live in. Chef Ramsy serves Alaskan Halibut in his reastaunts. Japanese are some of the biggest buyers. Mr @RoidRage69 was an Alaska commercial fisherman. We’re both from AK. This is why I’m a fish snob I grew up on Alaskan seafood. Flounder would be your shit fish.@RoidRageWife alaskan halibut? is that a good eating fish? i thought that was more of a trash fish
lol double that @2Thick! Takes a bit of time to warm up to working sets on deads or any primary lift. We stretch in between. Plus I’m old so it takes a bit longer for recovery. Both @RoidRage69 and I figure out our training. We’ve been doing it a long time and what we do works for us so it’s a matter of figuring out if you want to grow muscle bigger or stronger as to what kind of training you do or what exercises. Back is a huge muscle group also. Upper & lower back, traps, Lats. If we do cardio after that adds as well. We would have to really hustle to get through all that in hour. I just will not forgo my warm up. We do try to go shorter rest periods on the rest of our exercises when not on a strength training cycle, cuz we lighten up the weights we working with. And we only lift body parts once a week. So 3 days a week!@RoidRageWife You are always putting together some good training sessions. How long are your training sessions going? Today I was super tired. No energy. Everything felt like slow motion. Warm ups just regular reps, those were slow. Was a grind to get speed on the push up after pauses. Had a little rally! My lower back upper glutes were starting to cramp get tight. Had to reduce weight more than I’d like on RDL. But did 2 sets anyhow. Thinking might loosen up. Nope. We decided to start doing RDLs or straight leg deadlifts, on leg day cuz it hits hamstring and glutes. Might not be a great idea. Body not used to squatting then deadlifting. Went to do hack squats or leg presses. Hacks were open. Then all extensions and curls busy. The one abduction & adduction both busy. So we just said screw it! Need my 2 days off the gym now. Let them know we’re still alive lol. Had good pump. Really noticing my definition coming out in my chest more as well as my legs despite my body weight holding mid 140s. Actually eating less. Was not feeling my groove on my bar path for incline bench. Shoulders still feeling bit sore. Taking the weekend off. Tell all your mom’s you love them. Have a Happy Mother's Day weekend. @RoidRageWife not that its that important but would be cool for you to get tested for your body fat just to see. Thanks for the kudos guys, esp @RoidRage69
It’s hard yes cuz my body fat def holds in my butt n thighs. But I got some saggy old lady skin in my thighs. Tiny bit on my lower abs. Working hard still to shed it off to make 132lb/60kg comp weight class! Only way to do it is to look like a little bit of a freak I guess l.funny I get a compliment nearly daily from someone I do or don’t know in a store at gym or work. I guess it kinda feels nice esp when it comes from another woman who just thinks it’s awesome and wants my arms. lol. I turn about 3 shades of blush red! But I say thanks in my most modest tone. If I can inspire other women to be stronger, feel better, wanna work out, then great! They don’t shame me and say I look too masculin, they’re just inspired!
I love my delts n arms thanks @LevButlerov![]()

I had dexa scan in 2018. But it’s a gist I don’t need to spend on my scale tells me 21-22% it seems kinda high. Maybe I can get a trainer at the gym to do an old fashion caliper pinch test.@RoidRageWife not that its that important but would be cool for you to get tested for your body fat just to see.
i can't remember if it was you or another chick on here who got dexa scanned and got a number. i'm sure you are super low
All I’ve ever used is a in body scan 270 which doesn’t tell you as much as a dexa scan.I had dexa scan in 2018. But it’s a gist I don’t need to spend on my scale tells me 21-22% it seems kinda high. Maybe I can get a trainer at the gym to do an old fashion caliper pinch test.

That’s cool too. Hey sister! How the hell you been? You get your classes finished, or there still more? How’s training? I saw your name show up a few days ago on a few my posts. All I’ve ever used is a in body scan 270 which doesn’t tell you as much as a dexa scan.

Had nearly a week off! Not really scheduled or planned. our daughter was sick again with her transplanted organs and was hospitalized so was taking care of her. She needed someone at hospital then to get her home and stay with her couple days. Her fiancé is still deployed! She’s a medically high maintenance young woman. But I think was helpful deload! My shoulders don’t hurt!was off my HGH missed several doses but do a 5/2 anyhow so just took my mk677 instead. So we did back has been nearly 2 weeks….rested so to speak. Maybe not mentally rested but physically. Worked way up to singles. I went up to 335lb conventional deadlifts but felt good. I felt it went up pretty fast. I didn’t push it. My hips felt good today didn’t test them out on heavy sumo. We will fire up again in couple weeks work on the gains! Happy Lifting!

Finally had an on point close-grip bench day today. Took 165 for a Rep Ride at sets of 8, 9 on last set!!!That was fun! Today was a lot of sets. Took a bit easy on rest of my exercises today took awhile to finish and still ended with abs & cardio. Looking forward to this next strength cycle. Slow steady wins the race.
Mr snagged some screenshots to post. My elbow sleeves made marks across my bicep and my forearms but they’re decent pics. Everybody have a good weekend! Happy lifting!![]()

Hey guys. Big update pics today! Legs were solid today hips and groin felt great today starting our strength cycle today don’t wanna fall back too much since it’s gonna be shorter training cycle to the meet. So starting now and will implement full doses PEDs a week earlier so next week!5x5 squats was speedy and powerful! Best I’ve felt with 225lbs. Didn’t rally need a spot but had Mr there anyhow. RDLs were moving to back day again. Last week didn’t work out so well doing them After squats. So had to look around my house for bathing suit bottom Thats smaller from last summer cuz my bottoms are too big. Good problem for me! I can say this is the best I’ve felt about my ass size shape in years!!! I’ll say @PSL gear no joke! @~Vision~ Thank you very much for your sponsorship! Leanest I’ve ever been. And I feel great! My confidence is high! I will find and post comparisons later date you won’t believe it. Cuz I didn’t ever post my initial pics from starting log in Sept 2023!! but for now mr took pics after seeing the swimsuit bottoms I found laying around lol. I’ve been thinking about you a lot @~Vision~ and praying for your recovery.
Pray you’re feeling better everyday, your having forward progress with your rehab and that your pain is controlled well brother. I’ll ask what you think of my progress so far? Happy Lifting

Good question @ceo. I’d say my training is the biggest factor in making big gains possible. Knowing how to strength train having a plan and sticking to it!! It’s all synergistic but training has to be the foundation! I made scheduled jumps or my increases that I needed to make sets I needed to do regardless. If u fail somewhere it’s fine cuz u still gain the strength from the attempts even if u may need to back off that weight for that set or remainder of the sets left but u gotta keep grinding to get to your peak. Cuz each week you gain strength. Follow through is key. The PEDs only help give you the boost you need to get over the hump. It allows you to train harder, so I did. Take advantage of body’s ability to train heavier and recover a bit better too! PEDs can Make all the diff if you take advantage of the opportunity they give you. Too much frequency per week will overtrain your body. Why I train 3 days a week. I don’t have to train 5-6 days a week. Cannot recover that fast but I can lift harder heavier when I do lift. So you see my logs and the weights I move… I increase each week I move more weight then most male bodybuilders. Cuz of my training. Not just the PEDs. Having a great training partner or coach I think is a big advantage too. I’m blessed with @RoidRage69 as big part of my drive!@RoidRageWife sister you made amazing progress. what you think was what got you to next level lately? you stepped things up a lot
