Approved Log Semaglutide Journey

In a session I was drinking 8-12 drinks, most days I can drink 2-3 since on the Sema. Obviously I was hoping for a miracle cure but this doesnt seem the case. I am trying to think of a real world situation where Sema could be used to treat Alcoholism from an addicts perspective but I cannot see a probable use case.

Reading from the comments here, most people do not have a flying clue about being an Addict, ill probably write a post on how addiction works.

I try to think of positives; yeah I am drinking less but I am still going to the bottle shop (Australian vernacular for Liquor store, the only place you can buy liquor ((think LC in canada)) after work and drinking 3 cans on the way home from work, my job requires me to drive and we have on road breath tests so if I lost my license I would be in serious trouble.

There is less contention in my house because my wife isnt busting me drinking, remember Im meant to be a recovering alcoholic so every time I drink and get caught, its a huge disappointment for everyone followed by big arguments.

Positives would be: I am not hung over anymore, my health must be improving because my liver and other organs are not taking a beating from drinking large amounts anymore, I am doing less risky behaviour like drinking 10 drinks, running out and getting behind the wheel to get more, harmony at home is better etc
I had to post here as I am definitely WAY MORE experienced than you have ever been to being exposed or have been as a Addict... I'm sorry you have been going through this but to say most people have no clue is a cop out and wrong!
I am 55 years old and I have been doing every drug and drink I could get my hands on since I was a teenager.. Stopping only briefly when I signed up for the military.
Everyone here is being very nice to you and all you have to do is listen and learn.
I hope you all best... BUT it's you that has to be responsible enough to choose life.
I've talked briefly about about my younger brother as a example of what can happen to you from Ice or Meth.. He had a stroke and it screwed him over!
More recently though he had a bad relapse about 3 months ago.. Not meth this time.. Just a bout of good Ole legal Alcohol.. DUI with injuries he was in the ICU for a week.
He Fuckin survived AGAIN!
Luckily he didn't kill the driver in the other car. He will be going to court soon for DUI.
I'm going to post a Picture of my brother after this accident.. Because it will be needed to express the situation for you.
We are probably WAY more experienced than you think!
My Father died of Liver failure /cirrosis of the liver at 43 years of age... I know what it is!
QUIT DRINKING

very wise bro @medengines true EVO family respect for this and I hope @poopoobum read this in deal
i also openly talked about my drinking and drugs before bro
i was a serious alcoholic like bad, slept in a mcdonalds parking lot before shit is sad, lost family lost a wife and lost all my money, lost my car and the story goes on, but I dried up and changed my life switch to bodybuilding which is my new addiction, GYm and more GYM lol ;) been dry the sober for years and I do go to AA on and off just to support the guys there

I didnt mean to ruffle anybody's feathers, I said 'Reading from the comments here, most people do not have a flying clue about being an Addict" not "everybody here does not have a flying clue" nor do I want to be in competition with who has the worst 'war' stories, I just find answers like "just stop" laughable, if you could just stop you would, if you have been in Anonymous programs and rehabs you know the answer on paper is that easy but putting it in to practice is not hence why we have Rehab and Anonymous programs. As I said; I didnt mean to offend anyone.

I am happy for everyone here that has been in the grips of addiction and have managed to find a way out of the dark and living good and productive lives.

I am fairly happy with my progress and I have mentioned time and time again; this was an experiment as per what I was reading in the media and once again I do not believe Sema is the miracle cure to Alcoholism, it will greatly reduce your intake but and I am sorry to use this term again; will not secede the 'Mental Obsession to Drink'

@poopoobum we do understand your views on this experiment of course. But you should understand to use you're in the EVO family, we are truly trying to help you quit alcohol so you don't ruin your life (self admitted). Just as @medengines @Mobster @ZenithHealth have been here for you, I think all of us want to help you get to the other side of the tunnel.
You mentioned multiple times if you're caught drinking you'll lose license and your life, have you thought about entering AA to start? You can still drink and do it. It's something you need to try to do IMO otherwise the consequences are serious.

@medengines damn thanks for sharing that, very sobering what can happen when you let your addiction go too far.. no pun intended.

@poopoobum yeah it is absolutely a difficult thing to overcome that's for sure, I am actually quite surprised how many members here have suffered from the same affliction but have managed to overcome it, It's great you have already been making those steps in the right direction, its only been two months so don't let anyone rain on your parade just yet, you have made some damn good progress thus far, just make sure you keep moving forward!

I agree with the 1 day at a time approach... But... In the truth of it all.
The best approach is to drop it completely... And live for your kids and your wife! Look at them and say enough is enough.. Come on man taking drugs and throwing up and drinking more is not the answer.
A book from Victor Frankel..True story by the way.. He survived arguably the worse Prison camp starved and beaten.. While others died. So he wrote a book about this experience.
Man's search for meaning... Its a very good book... It may even be helpful with you @poopoobum
It's for me meant or explains that you have to live for something other than "yourself" to keep the will to live..
ie.. Find your "higher power" 12 step program.. AA Program.
Which is something of another story as well.. Author Carl Jung.. I've read his stuff too... He actually taught the Dude that came up with Alcoholics anonymous.. That story is a badass one as well.. He told him I can't fix you.. Until you find your higher power..
Year's later.. That dude that started AA used this method.. Which is your higher power.
It works when we work it and we work it cause we're worth it..

Might try reading these books.
I know it's sounds like "we" are beating this down.. But all of us know or have been there before!
I watched my father kill himself with the disease.. I just wish I had enough balls to say it to him back then.

@medengines I do agree dropping drinking completely is crucial for @poopoobum and I hope he listens and does it. He has EVO family support all the way in this journey. :D

Yep this exactly, 👌

Great to see your experimenting it shows your desire to change.

You need to rewrite your brain. It might be left field , go read a bit about Psilocybin and Alcoholism

Thought I would give an update as I needed to order off Zenith and as some people asked so ill keep it brief, I am down to 93kg, I have gone on and off Ozempic and I have never actually regained my old appetite, its either whilst on it 1 meal or a day and it can be a stuggle to eat that or off it and easily being able to survive on 1 meal a day but can eat more if I want to, unsure if being off it a long time would fix this but it doesnt phase me as I am 38 and obviously my matabolism is slowing down. (I also suspect when Sharon Osbourne goes on about the horrors of Ozempic this is what happened to her hence her Skelator appearance these days)

The alcohol side of things in my experience was a bust, it didnt help it just made drinking harder to do, I didnt get nauseated but when you're a drunk and hiding it there are times you need to skull a drink (thats chugging for our American friends) and you get it down but all of sudden you cant keep it down but if you want to drink, you will.

I am three months out from a Tropical beach holiday and I am going to start the Gym again tomorrow, in preparation for this I am almost 2 weeks sober, its pure will power at the moment.

Thanks for everyones concern, kind words and positivity to which there is so much in this community!

(this didnt end up being brief)

93kg is a big drop and keeping that appetite down after stopping Ozempic shows your body really adjusted, makes it easier to hold weight off as you dial things back in. Good call staying sober leading into the holiday, 2 weeks already is a strong start and the gym will only make it easier to keep momentum. You’ve got plenty of time to tighten up before the trip, just keep stacking the sober days and consistent training. :D @poopoobum
It would be amazing to see you posting more and sharing, EVO family big love and support your way. :D

@poopoobum i quit alcohol 20 years ago. have zero desire to go back man. the longer you stay sober the easier it is. maybe try switching to kombucha which is fermented fruit

Keep up the good work on being sober. You can definitely do it. Tons of people have quit alcohol and have lived much better lives. @poopoobum

@poopoobum My advice is avoid being around people who drink. Bad friends are bad influences. Also don't go to places obviously, like bars or anything like that, where there's alcohol.

bro that what my wife need. ozempic lol. she a big girl @poopoobum
I didnt tell my wife I was on it and she saw the results and then she was sad that she couldnt lose weight so I fessed up, she is a pussy when it comes to the needles though, I had 29g and I had to buy her thinner ones which is fine considering the Ozempic is like water

bro i gotta figure out way to pin my wife without her noticing.. maybe when i slamming her from behind i will pull needle out

yeah those 29g pins are tiny already but if she’s nervous then grabbing the thinner ones makes it easier, especially since ozempic is water-like so it slides through no problem. good that you were upfront with her, now she can run it in a way she’s comfortable with and not feel left behind while you’re making progress. :D @poopoobum

Needle-phobia club.
Funny how much I worked myself up over my first even pin since I have a history of getting a little fainty/nauseous getting bloods done or cannula in.
Haven't felt even a pinch running 29g so far which was a huge relief after the first one. Still get a little bit of stress leading up to pinning but it's reducing each time.

@poopoobum great update man and it’s good to hear that your appetite never came back after the Ozempic most people say it comes back worse than before

bro i gotta figure out way to pin my wife without her noticing.. maybe when i slamming her from behind i will pull needle out
yeah this may sound REALLY sick, but I have had the same thought for my son, obviously secretly pinning your 13 years old is pretty dirty.....

Since I have been to 2 rehabs they often warn us that when you get out you might find yourself hassling your wife for sex all the time or even pursuing an affair or eating excessively or becoming a gym rat (wish this one happened to me) you can develop cross addictions, an addicts mind has created new neural pathways over the years that is constantly screaming for dopamine, when I watch my 600lb life and you see those poor souls saying "I hate what I have become but when I eat it just feels so good" instantly sets off alarm bells of them being addicted to food. When Ozempic first came out the first thing I thought of was yeah you might be able to physcially stop eating but you are not dealing with the problem at the root source which is the stuff I mentioned earlier.

bro i got son on red meat since he was baby. he now 6'6'' and 260 and 6% body fat and 11 years old

Hey Guys due to being 'told off' :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: by @LevButlerov on another post so I am here to give an update, I ended up in rehab again and I still have my Holiday to go on, 12 Steps for me is the only thing going to keep me sober so I have been sober for 5 weeks, I got back to the gym once I got out which was a week ago, I am sure I will have people shaking their finger at me regarding taking PEDs at a 'beginner stage' but my natural test is super low to non existent so in my head, I am fixing that issue and giving the gym a jump start.

I am still around 93kg, ate more in Rehab and didnt move around much except for going to 12 step meetings, whilst im in Manila I have AA meetings to go to plus zoom AA and my wife will be holding my hand the whole time so fingers crossed.

I am back on the Ozempic, its a weird dichotomy of wanting to get bigger but starving yourself with peptides, obviously at some point I will have to learn the whole on/off season thing.

My wife has managed to lose 4kg, her native foreign diet which she eats everyday isnt what I would call the healthiest in the world but she is happy with her progress, I am happy with her progress, I thought she was sexy anyway with weight on but she is sexier with the weight off, she wouldnt pin herself so whilst I was in rehab so she will probably go back on it after the holiday

Here are my update photos, I am somewhat pleased where I am at I guess, I plan on living in the gym on my holiday as the holiday is really about seeing family (not a party hard touristy holiday if that makes sense)

(GRRRR My symmetrical lats) If someone can tell me or fix the image being the wrong way around that would be great.

Peace and love to all over the holidays, Live long and Prosper!

welcome back to the EVO family :D @poopoobum happy to see you back. You're looking good in the pics!
I'm VERY happy you're in AA, it saved my life my brother.

To start can we have you switch from ozempic to retatrutide? it will help with addiction much better. I believe you had a sponsor right? @ZenithHealth needs loggers so this is perfect for him.

On the test cycle, I noticed you are on 500mgs of test now any ai?

Good on you for the update mate, ive been wondering how you have been! and more importantly, good on you for putting your sobriety first. Five weeks is no small thing, especially after another rehab stint. That takes honesty and grit, so respect for that.

The fact you’ve got a plan in place with 12-step meetings in person and on Zoom, plus accountability from your wife while you’re overseas, is exactly how this stuff stays real rather than wishful thinking. Keep doing the boring, unglamorous recovery work, it’s clearly paying off.

As for the gym side of things, you already know people will have opinions, but what matters is that you’re being honest with yourself and not using training or PEDs as an escape hatch. Just keep checking in with your motives and your health, especially while your foundations are still being rebuilt.

Enjoy the holiday for what it is, family, routine, training, and staying grounded. Living in the gym beats living in your head any day.

You’re not doing this alone. The Evo family is here for you, always. Proud of you for staying accountable and showing up. Keep going, one day at a time. 💪

Thank you so much for your kind words Zenith, Lev mentioned 'retatrutide' in relation to peptides and addiction, if it does the same as 'Oz' then I am happy to move, what do you think?

Anytime brother. I use retatrutide myself and I’ve never looked back to semaglutide since. It’s powerful stuff. Happy to give you a vial on the house if you want to see how you go with it. All I ask is that you keep prioritising your AA journey. 💪

Ai like an aromatase inhibitor think aromasin arimidex, we need to have that if you're doing a test cycle, what brand of testosterone are you using and what doses? @poopoobum

Congrats on the huge life changes bro. Admitting you have a problem and doing something about it is a big deal. It's literally the hardest part in my opinion. Duno about drinking cuz drugs were my thing, but each day gets a bit easier til eventually sobriety is just the way you live. I know for me, living a lie and being fucked up all the time was way harder then just not doing drugs. Getting clean gives you a new perspective on life and helps you see how lucky you are and all the blessings you've been given. Being fucked up robs us of that clarity.

This is what EVO life is all about very kind offer @ZenithHealth ! We're all here and have been through it too @poopoobum reach out to anyone anytime. I'll even give you my cell # in DM's if you need it.

I meant a-symmetrical lats btw
I went through something similar. Usually the smaller one isn't activating well. I switched to a lot of one arm back exercises. You can put the non working hand on the lat during the movement to make sure you feel it there. Also flex and contract that side during sets.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing; like Lat pulldown but the handle thingys on the cable cable machines (excuse my ignorance with the naming)

All addiction is the same in my books man, I have been to enough rehabs and intermixed with GA (Gamblers) NA (Narcotics) and AA (Alcoholics) Every thing you said is absolute truth!

All my gear was bought off the Darkweb before I discovered this place and its old and almost out of date, I do have aromasin and I am taking it, whether I am taking it correctly is a different story.

As mentioned before my T levels are naturally non existant, it not diagnosed but I strong believe there something wrong with me for years, I had ED even in my early 20s, why I mention it is because as far as I knew (and my knowledge is limited) is you did PCT to try and stop all the bad sexual function, sperm and losing your ability for natural T but by all means school me

Yes bro, you can DM me anytime and it was solely for you. 🙏

I've been to rehab 7 times and it didn't work. Once I fully conceeded to my innermost self that I was fucked (whether sober or not) I then picked up the Big Book of AA and worked through it page by page, line by line, and worked the 12 step program and it saved my life and reorganized my brain (almost fully). DM me if you ever need to chat and share our stories or anything about the 12-step program. I'm sponsoring two other men at the moment and one is celebrating his 1-year of sobriety on the 19th of December. My problem wasn't the drinking (or drugs) my problem was ME.

My story of drinking myself to death (literally) is in my log on 21Aug2025 (a snipit of my story): https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/threads/sustanon-trenomast-deca-dbol-cycle-journal.105881/page-2

Bro we need to hear more about exactly what your dosing is and when, and get you on the right track. If you can't be consistent for now and are focusing on AA that is totally understandable so then just self TRT weekly and get bloodwork so we can look at the proper aromasin dose.

I would be very careful using "darkweb" gear, you might have serious issues with infections or worse from it long term. @poopoobum
can you post pics of the bottles please?

As per our DM’s I’d like to focus on your recovery and AA and shelve the anabolics for now except TRT or maybe TRT+. Excellent work with the boxing fitness classes let’s make it a standard that you do not miss a class.

We can discuss AA meetings in DM’s (the 12th tradition of AA) and I can meet you on Zoom AA meetings and we can attend together. We’ll make a pact to do one a week so you’ll have the boxing fitness classes, AA meetings, and diet/training/supps to really focus on to keep your priorities honed in on health and physique results while we work through AA.

One quick question: how old is that gear you posted pics of? We might need to order you some new gear from a trusted source once we’re gonna cycle.

Can you post a current updated list of everything you have on board and are using now?

Holy fuck man you are supportive and now I am going to really have the shit picked out of me in the group but I am in the honesty stage of my life and I am trying to get some size for this holiday.

Im doing
67unit from the 250mg vials 3 times a week (chat gpt figured out this would be 500mg a week)
Pre Boxing (everyday)
1 x Aromisin
1 x Dbol 10mg
1 x Anavar 10mg

Pre gym
1 x Dbol 10mg
1 x Anavar 10mg

20units of 10mg Ozempic Daily

No diet except not eating much but when I do I am eating clean

I started doing all this about 3 weeks ago

I am absolutely willing to change this when I get back from my trip and get new gear, its just the shit I had lying around and cherry picking Bro-Science

Please be kind everyone 👉👈 :ROFLMAO:

Ok when you get back we’ll shitcan everything you’re running now and get you started fresh with bloodwork too. In the meantime we don’t wanna disrupt your routine too much too fast but the gear you have now and the cherry picking can cease when you’re back from your trip including your cycle until we see bloods. Recovery is # 1 right now.

You’re likely very low in thiamine with the alcohol abuse so I’d start vitamin B1 asap. Your liver is likely pretty stressed from the alcohol so I’d remove the dbol for now and keep your water as high as you can and hydrate.

DM me when you’re back from your trip and we can set up zoom AA meetings there’s always one going on somewhere in the world.

And of course I’m supportive brother this is a family and you’re loved and deserve recovery. This helps my recovery too so YOU are helping ME as well.

Your only job now is to stay sober. Any day sober is a win, the rest are details that don’t matter at all right now.

Just wanted to make it official that I’ve decided to sponsor @poopoobum on his weight loss and alcohol-free journey. I’ve sent his first product out at no cost and I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing how he progresses over the coming weeks and months.

I’ve been really impressed by the way the members here have rallied around him. That kind of guidance, accountability, and real coaching input is exactly what he needs right now, and it shows why this forum is such a strong community.

Proud to be part of his journey and grateful to everyone who’s taken the time to help steer him in the right direction. Let’s keep the momentum going 💪

Hello EVO bretheren

I have a bit of work ahead of me, @HarleyGuy has pretty much become my AA sponsor from all the way in Ottawa and he has requested I do a Sobriety thead, this will need to start immediately and I hope to start this either tomorrow or when I arrive in Manila, I am strapped for time at the moment but I do my 'check in' with him a few times a day and I am extremely grateful for his support it has really kept me in check however the time diffrence is a bit of pain but it is working and I am happy!!!

(Any insights in to how I should go about this thread would be good)

Secondly; @ZenithHealth has officially decided to sponsor me with Retatrutide, once again; extremely grateful for this and it will be interesting if any of its properties help in Addiction recovery and also the weightloss, I will not be able to start this until I get back which is the 6th of January 2026, hope you enjoy the journey on the new thread that will accompany it.

Thirdly; where should I get my bloods done and once they are done where should I be acquiring good (but fairly priced) gear?

Fourthly; Should I keep the Poopoobum Moniker? 🤣

Thank you all for your continued support and everyone have a Merry Christimas!!!!!

Hello mate,
what a journey, you have the right people in your corner for sure.

For bloods - iMedical is the best place they have pre done panels - I would suggest BB2 or BB3, then post them up here and we can assist.

For gear - @Gold Standard Labs can help you out, absolute gentleman, top quality product - just look at how many positive reviews on his page.
Will be following for sure

@poopoobum my man, we believe in you. You can definitely do this. Addictions are no way to spend your life. Life is short as it is. You don't want to spend it with your brain cells getting fried and being out of whack

@poopoobum that is great that Harley guy is making sure you stay sober. He's been through a lot himself. That's what the family on EVO is all about.

See @poopoobum you have a fellowship of support here as well as in the rooms of AA at home. We will hit a zoom AA meeting together every day while you're away.

As discussed on the phone you can DM @Eddie Haskell or @LevButlerov for a username change. Later today when you wake up we can discuss the title of your recovery log (which can include your semaglutide dose but as discussed that won't be what gets you recovered) and Lev's idea was pretty bang on for a title but we'll figure one out that means the most to you.

Stay tuned everyone we will have his recovery log up in a few days.

Re. bloods @poopoobum if you haven't found somewhere to get em done yet you can hit up either roidsafe (https://evolutionary.org/) or for something more comprehensive, iMedical (https://imedical.com.au/), you might like the Sports BB1 or Sports BB3

Cheers fella!
