Post show update… we won the overall!!!

Honestly still trying to process that. Everything we’ve been working towards came together on stage and I’m really proud of the package we brought.

Show day was executed exactly as planned. Food stayed very minimal to keep the stomach tight and flat, with just enough carbs to fill out where needed.

Now it’s straight back to work. 14 days out from Nationals and the plan is set. We’re pulling a little more off this week and then running a slightly longer load and asses day by day.

Cardio is back up to an hour, steps are sitting around 8–10k daily and AAs are staying in to support recovery, fullness and performance whilst we push for the finish line

Proud of this moment, but we’re not done yet.
Nationals is the goal.

Hi fam,
small check in before nationals.

We’ve pushed a little harder this week, my cardio is up to an hour and steps are sitting around 12–14k. Holding that until Sunday then we’ll pull output back a touch to freshen up and keep the look.

Fat burners went back in on Sunday and we’ve already dropped 400g so things are moving nicely.

Feeling it a bit more zombie right now, definitely more fatigue but that’s expected at this point. Training is still there, just being smarter where I need to be.

Mentally I’m in a really really good place. No stress just doing what needs to be done.

From here it’s just keep chipping away then ease off early next week and bring something fuller and sharper to nationals.

Have a cheeky quad pump from yesterday x

Phenomenal sister! You and the big fella are absolutely crushing it 🙏

6 days out!!

Carbs are in!!!

We are running a front load to start the week, pushing up to around 600g through to wednesday to really fill out, then tapering them back down towards the end of the week to keep the look tight and controlled, full without spilling.

Training is just fluff work at this point, higher reps, lighter weight, just enough to move glycogen and get a pump without creating any fatigue or inflammation.

Steps are sitting around 8–10k, mostly from digestion walks to help with uptake and keep things moving without burning through too much
and cardio has been pulled and clen is now out, the goal is to reduce stress on the body and allow everything to stabilise while we fill.

Checking in with coach every morning, tracking scale weight, look, and how everything is responding day to day so we can make small adjustments if needed.

Post show reflection!

4th in the Open at Nationals. Not exactly the result we had worked for, but this sport has a funny way of teaching you lessons exactly when you need them most.

Peak week definitely threw a few curveballs. I missed my mark a little and ended up holding a fair bit of water, and to top it off my body decided it was also time for that time of the month 😂 but that’s bodybuilding. Sometimes you can do absolutely everything right and your body still has its own plans.

That being said, I’m genuinely proud of this season. Not just physically, but mentally. Every prep teaches you more about your body, your discipline, your resilience and your ability to keep showing up even when things don’t go perfectly.

Now the focus shifts. We grow.

Big priority moving forward is bringing up my posterior chain even more, especially glutes and hamstrings, while keeping that overall balance and flow. We’ve already identified exactly where improvements need to happen and I’m honestly excited for this next phase.

Right now I’m off AAs and giving my body a chance to reset properly. Bloods will be getting done and health is the priority first. Recovery phase is in full swing, however I’ll still be utilising MOTS-C, 4iu HGH and 0.5mg reta twice weekly as part of the transition into the growth phase.

No post-show blues here. Just lessons learnt, a clearer direction and an even bigger fire for what’s next.

The climb continues 🤝

Congrats on the 4th place. What was the reason for holding water?

@R&Dpharma

Next phase officially underway!

After a long prep the focus right now is rebuilding properly and recovering fully and bringing up the areas that are going to take my physique to the next level.

This phase will be heavily focused around posterior growth glutes and hamstrings whilst keeping overall balance and structure through quads and lower body.

Training intensity will progressively climb over the next few weeks:
Week 1) 3 RIR
Week 2) 2 RIR
Week 3 onwards) back to pushing hard.

Current split:
4 lower body sessions each week with a huge focus on:
  • Hip thrust strength
  • RDL patterns
  • Split squat/lunge stability
  • Hamstring density
  • Glute fullness
Nutrition is sitting around:
Training days) 2800 cals
Rest days) 2500 cals with higher fats to support recovery.

Outputs are simple:
8-10k steps daily + 2 x 20 min cardio sessions weekly (more for aerobic fitness then composition)

AA's will be out now however keeping in hgh, motsc and reta whilst post show.

Lets grow!!!!!

Honestly feeling absolutely unreal right now!

AA’s are officially out, however HGH is staying in and my latest @R&Dpharma order arrived so that’ll continue. Bloods are booked again in another 2 weeks just to keep an eye on everything but all health markers are looking super positive currently.

  • Menstrual cycle on cue
  • BP and fasting glucose looking great
  • Strength increasing basically every session
  • Hip hinge pattern numbers + reps flying up
  • Definitely feeling fullness come back already
  • Recovery and overall wellbeing feeling amazing

This phase is still heavily focused around posterior growth and really bringing up glutes + hamstrings whilst keeping balance and structure through the rest of the lower body. I got my feedback from nationals which was exactly what i predicted. "more posterior" soooo we give the people what they want.

Nutrition still sitting comfortably at:
Training days 2800 cals
Rest days 2500 cals

Outputs are staying pretty simple:
8-10k daily steps + 2 x 20 min cardio.

Also implementing MOTSC back in and will update how that goes. Starting at 1mg daily for the first week and assessing from there.

Can we all just laugh about my range on this leg extension?!?!

HGH currently split:
2iu AM / 2iu PM.

Very very excited for this growth phase!

Health thriving, and strength exploding 🤯 serious growth phase ahead 🔥

@R&Dpharma athlete.

One of the biggest challenges for me right now isn't training harder, it's actually learning to be patient and doing less. After months of prep, every instinct wants me to push harder, do more and chase progress as quickly as possible but instead the focus has shifted towards recovery, performance and creating an environment where real growth can actually occur.

We've now implemented high days 4x times per week alongside 20iu of Lantus before first meal. The goal is to support recovery, training performance and nutrient utilisation as food continues to increase as high days now sit around 3000c (500g of carb). It's been exciting to see how much better I'm performing in the gym when my body is properly fuelled and recovered.

Cardio has remained consistent and, surprisingly, it's something I've genuinely enjoyed. Rather than feeling like a prep requirement it's become a tool that helps me stay healthy, manage recovery and keep me feeling my best throughout the week.

One of the biggest priorities this off-season is rebuilding trust with my body after a long dieting phase. Improving my relationship with food, recovering properly and learning to embrace the growth phase is just as important as the physical changes themselves.

The goal hasn't changed. Bring a significantly improved package to the stage next time around with a major emphasis on developing my glutes, hamstrings and overall posterior chain.

For now, it's about putting together as many good days as possible. Training hard, recovering harder and trusting that the small daily actions will add up over time.

Building momentum one quality day at a time 💪

Proper fire for an update, legend 🔥

It's always interesting to get a glimpse into the mindset and approach of someone operating at an elite level.

So many lifestyle gym goers get caught up in the idea that more is always better and end up running everything balls to the wall, often overlooking the importance of structure, recovery, and managing fatigue.

Reading an update like this from a pro hopefully gives some of the lifestyle guys a deeper perspective. Progress isn't just built through training harder. It's built through understanding when to push, when to pull back, and how to consistently recover well enough to keep moving forward.

Plenty of lessons in this one if people take the time to look beyond the surface.
