Took it easy the day before. headed to the pool with my daughter for some quality time.

Relaxed, floated around, got in some solid stretches and mobility work.

Felt fresh coming into this peaking block no lingering fatigue, recovery dialed.

Main lift: Competition Bench
1 rep × 220kg (felt smooth, could have squeezed out another rep easy. confident there)
5 sets × 2 reps @ 200kg (all clean, controlled, hitting the target RPE range)

Accessory work stayed as programmed (3-4 RIR on rows, laterals, pushdowns, curls no changes needed).

Feeling strong on bench right now 100% confident the recovery stack from @Unitedau is doing its job.

Bench has serious upside; I could see pushing toward 230-240kg this peak if I wanted. But the real focus is squats. they've got the most room to grow, so prioritizing technique, volume, and progressive overload there.
Massive bench again, you're a beast :D

Squat Day

Yesterday the flu absolutely flattened me. left work early, full rest, no guilt. Slept all evening into the morning. Dropped around 2.5kg BW overnight.

Today I felt better. Considered switching to safety bar, but stuck to the plan and went heavy. 270kg squat. Didn’t expect it to move just wanted to feel the load and keep building confidence under the bar.

Unloaded the weight set the bar back up and finished with 1x10 200 kg squat

Accessories
Single-leg hip thrusts
Split squats
DB RDLs
Front planks

podcast just dropped 🎙️ grateful for the opportunity. https://www.evolutionary.org/evolutionary-org-650-interview-with-evo-brother-ohdamn/

Video. 270 kg attempt

Deadlift day

  • Warm-up: Progressive ramp-up to working weight, felt fast and explosive

  • Deadlift: 2 x 1 @ 280 kg ✅
First set I tried recording, but the iPad storage was full. Partner filmed the second set instead.

  • Pull-ups: 3 sets to failure 💪

  • Bent-over dumbbell rows: 3 sets to failure

  • Hanging leg raises: 3 sets, to failure. strict form. Cable crunches to failure.

Notes:
  • Deadlift speed felt strong; 280 moved fast. 290 kg attempt looks very realistic next session.
  • felt solid throughout.

Video. Second set 1 rep 280 kg deadlift.

Can tell you're a powerhouse just by looking at your torso

Appreciate that 💪

I’ll get some tonight

The direction it’s heading, gym going to have to invest in a new bar. It’s bending like hell.😊

Upper Body – Yesterday

BW sitting just under 117 kg.

Coming off a rough patch. I was diagnosed with tonsillitis and put on antibiotics. Finally feel like I’m turning the corner. The bone broth that was recommended has honestly helped a lot. Feeling great today and breathing, energy, and recovery are way better.

Despite that, yesterday’s session moved really well.

Bench Press

Warm-ups, then 200 kg
  • 1×3
  • 1×2 + 1 rep rest-pause attempt
  • 2×2
  • 1×4 @ 180 kg

Bent Over Row

  • 4×4 @ 150 kg

Pull-Ups

  • 3×12 BW

Seated Overhead Press

  • 4×3 @ 130 kg

Close Grip Bench Press
  • 4×4 @ 162.5 kg

Chest Supported Row
  • 3×6 @ 150 kg

Weighted Dips

Even coming off sickness and antibiotics the numbers you put up are super human lol. Hope you fell 100% soon. Some probiotic right foods should help post antibiotics

Yeah this flu has been brutal. crazy how something like that can knock you around, but we keep moving forward regardless.

Really grateful for the support on the lifts and the podcast. Means a lot hearing the feedback and knowing people are tuning in. Training through sickness isn’t ideal, but doing what I can and listening to the body.

Thanks for the kind words on the numbers, the pull-ups, bench, deads 💪

Hope everyone else stays healthy and strong.

I’m putting the 800kg total on pause for now. Burnout’s been creeping in and I’d rather pivot than break. The focus shifts to muscle, recovery, and recomp. Maintaining clean size and staying healthy.

Flat Bench Press
3x10 @ 150kg

Stepping back to move forward.

I’m putting the 800kg total on pause for now. Burnout’s been creeping in and I’d rather pivot than break. The focus shifts to muscle, recovery, and recomp. Maintaining clean size and staying healthy.

Running:
• 250mg Test E
• Injury prevention stack: NAD+, 5-amino-1MQ, MOTS-C, Klow, HGH

Today’s session — chest & delts:

Incline DB Press
4x8 @ 55kg

Flat Bench Press
3x10 @ 150kg

Pec Fly
3x15 @ 105kg

Lateral Raises
5x15–20 @ 20kg
As you approach the end of your current stack please feel free to reach out so we can arrange a top up or explore alternative peptide options that may further support your progress.

When I see potential like yours I’m committed to continuing that support. Your journal consistently reflects value, passion, and intent. The intensity of your lifts combined with the way you structure your sessions based on how you feel and your mental clarity in the moment makes it both impressive and engaging to follow.

Keep up the outstanding work.

yeah not just sickness but also injuries. prevents us from doing what we love :(

100%. That’s the hardest part. not the pain, just being forced out of the game.

keep the iron grind going!

Always. No matter the phase, the grind doesn’t stop.

The worst thing is the cold chills.

Yeah the chills are brutal and scary. Luckily I had no chills.

Bros, the bigger you get the harder they are to do, ha ha.

Facts! Leverage changes real quick when you pack on size. Makes every rep earned.

They do and they stress the muscle out where it has to repair itself.

Exactly. Controlled damage, recover, grow.

Awesome set of work bro. Your lifts are outstanding and I am positive you will get to 800kg the next time you chase it. Following the hypertrophy leg now is going to be epic brother 🩵

yep unfortunatley i had to give up on endurance competing in my late 20's then on powerlifting in my mid 30's thanks to injuries. any heavy lifting would result in a full shoulder tear and need surgery which i cannot afford

Man I respect that a lot. Competing at both levels takes serious effort. Injuries are brutal especially shoulders. Smart move protecting your long term health though 💯

That's exactly right.

discipline over motivation every time.

bros true dat to the extreme

Yes!! 💯

yeah its tough. you are sweating and hot, but you feel chilly. it sucks!

That’s the worst combo

Definitely that's the way to approach the iron.

100 percent brother

Love the workload brother 🩵

Means a lot bro 💪 volume been serious lately.

You are one solid ball of muscle there brother 🩵

I’ll take that! Still building though and hopefully maintain most of it this volume phase.

Appreciate it! Arm day been paying off lately 💯

What’s the measurement ? Looks beyond 20”

Last time I measured was around 21 and a half. Hopefully lose some fat and maintain most of the muscle this volume phase. Might lose an inch or so.

Brother getting gigantic over here!

Always good to see you still hustling hard my bro 🔥

Slowly but surely stacking size 😤

Thanks brother! 🔥

Looking big like myself brother

That’s the goal my brother 💪

Still being a beast during these training sessions legend 🦍🦍🔥🩵

Still pushing hard every session. ❤️

How do you find your performance fasted as opposed to fuelled up?

Fasted feels sharper mentally, and more focus, more dancing between sets 😂 and jogging to the next exercise 😅but fuelled sessions definitely give me more raw output and better pumps. If it’s heavy compound work, I prefer some carbs in. For lighter or accessory days, fasted is fine.
