Well I missed my lift.
180kg absolutely flew as my last warmup.
I got greedy and loaded 205…..juusst missed it, cooked myself in the process.

Going to take 24 hours to decide my next step….I feel like I’ll drop to a cruise, run another 12 week block and try again, might use some orals to peak two weeks before the end of the block.

Disappointed, but not beaten and resolute that I’ll own this weight this year 🫡
 
You could probably try for 200 in a few days, with very light training in between
I’ve been thinking that.
Might just mull it over for 24 hours before I make a call.

Either way the cunt is mine this year.
 
Revised plan is -
Load 195kg this coming weekend. If it moves easily enough load 200kg the week after.

If I miss, I will run another 12 week block.
closer to 200kgs every day :D

Worked on bench press singles technique.

Doubles to 160, then 2x singles at 170kg and 2 singles at 180kg, nothing super taxing, just greasing the groove.

Feeling good about a single at 195kg over the next week.

Also did some lateral raises, overhead tricep extensions and standing tricep pull downs.
