Been using the forums for a little while now, it's amazing how much I've learned on here. I have a few questions that I hope aren't to silly to ask.. but I'm new to all of this and getting different answers while searching around.
I've recently started TRT(just 2 weeks in). I'm 35yrs old and had been feeling off as of late so went to get my levels checked and they came back at
Total T = 17.0 nmol/l
Free T = 326 pmol/L
LH = 5.4 IU/L
FSH = 4 IU/L
(the test didn't include SHBG / Estradiol)
And the Doc(at a TRT clinic) here in Canada said TRT could be beneficial to getting me back to feeling as I have in the past. I'm in love with training and have been doing so for about 4 years, so I'm eager to get my levels up and keep grinding away in the gym. A cycle is something I am hoping to do sometime after locking in a TRT dose that puts me at the right level. However long that may take.
We have started @ a dose of 120mg/wk of test cyp(IM injections).
As of now she has me doing it 1x per week(every Tuesday), Most people I've asked say the more frequent the injections the better(2x or 3x/wk)
We're going to be checking bloods again after 6 weeks of being on. My question for this is should I request doing it 2x/wk next time we meet up for the test review? Is it really less beneficial to be doing it just 1x?
And is their any difference in where I pin? (glutes/delts). And If I need to pin near my workout time, Is it ok for me to work my delts say ~1hr after pinning them? or should I avoid stressing the area?
