👋 Welcome from the Aussie section of Evo 🫡

I’m thrilled to start my 20-week steroid cycle, and I want to give a special shoutout to @HybridLabs and @Core Pharma for sponsoring this journey (2 trusted and reputable labs supplying the Australian domestic market). Before this cycle, I was already a happy customer of Hybrid Labs, having used their Testosterone E & Masteron E in previous protocols. ✍️ About Me:

  • Age: Early 30s
  • Weight: 80kg
  • Height: 182cm
  • Training Experience: Intermediate, with ~12 years of natural strength training off and on based on my health at the time.
  • Cycle History: I began doctor-prescribed TRT 4 years ago due to primary hypogonadism. The highest dose I’ve run to date was 350mg Test E and 40mg Anavar last summer. I also did a 6-week cruise of 250mg of Test E and 200mg of Mast E in June-July this year. But the majority of my time since starting TRT has been around 250mg Test E per week (limited by how much I was being prescribed).
  • Injury & Health: I sustained a traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) as a teenager, resulting in paralysis (paraplegia) from my mid-abdominals down. I also manage sleep apnea with a CPAP machine and consistently get 6-8 hours of sleep every night. Otherwise, my health is very good. I do regular blood tests and imaging of my organs as part of my usual monitoring (even before using steroids). The heart, liver, and kidneys are all doing great! Here's a recent X-ray of the metal work in my spine (always goes off at the airport security scanner too 👀):

🎯 My Goals:

  • Lean down more and put on some decent muscle on my upper body. Would like to develop my biceps in particular. I think 3-5kg of lean tissue accrual overall would be very noticeable.

💊 Daily Supplementation:

  • Telmisartan: 60mg (keeps my BP @ 125/80).
  • Cialis: 5mg
  • Multivitamin: Thorne Basic Nutrients
  • NAC: 1g
  • TUDCA: 250mg
  • Ubiquinol: 150mg
  • Fish Oil: 4g
  • Taurine: 1g
  • Vitamin D3: 4000 IU
  • Magnesium Bicglycinate: 600mg nightly
  • Melatonin: 3-5mg nightly

💉 Cycle Breakdown

Week 1-4: Setting the Foundation
  • Testosterone Enanthate: 525mg weekly (split into 0.3ml daily injections)
  • Primobolan Enanthate: 420mg weekly (split into 0.3ml daily injections)
  • Anavar: 20mg pre-workout, taken sublingually
  • HGH: 3-5 IU nightly
The first four weeks will be all about building a solid foundation. Having used Hybrid Labs’ Testosterone Enanthate previously, I’m confident in its consistency and effectiveness. Adding their Primobolan and Anavar will help me gain lean mass and improve recovery. I’ll also be running Core Pharma’s HGH every night to maximize tissue growth and healing. Starting at 3IU and seeing how much I can tolerate by escalating the dose progressively. At the end of Week 4, I’ll get a blood test to check my estradiol levels and tweak the Primobolan dosage if necessary. I will also test and share my IGF1 levels to understand my response to different dosages.

Week 5-14: Experimenting with NPP
  • Continue with the same dosages of Testosterone Enanthate, Primobolan Enanthate, Anavar, and HGH.
  • NPP: start with 105mg weekly (split into 0.15ml daily injections)
From Week 5 onward, I’ll be adding Hybrid Labs’ NPP to boost muscle growth, support joint health, and improve recovery. NPP’s fast-acting effects hopefully contribute to noticeable gains during this phase and I'm keen to see what a 19-nor compound will do to my physique (never tried it).

Week 15-20: Trenbolone for the Final Push
  • Maintain Testosterone Enanthate, Primobolan Enanthate, Anavar, and HGH.
  • Trenbolone Acetate: Start with 10mg per day, increasing based on tolerance.
  • Anavar: Increase to 40mg pre-workout, taken sublingually
For the final stretch, I’ll switch out NPP for Trenbolone Acetate, starting at a conservative dose and increasing as needed. I'm hoping there is a dose that I can discover for myself where I can reap the benefits and mitigate sides. I'm just experimenting out of pure curiosity and if it's not for me, I'm prepared to revert to NPP. I will be monitoring all health markers throughout its use. Open to all suggestions on how to get the best out of this! I’ll also double the Anavar dosage to 40mg pre-workout, ensuring I hit the hardest training of this cycle with maximum strength and intensity.

💪 Training Routine (doesn't train legs 🤪):

My training split is focused on upper-body development due to paralysis from the mid-abdominals down. I've been in the gym long enough to hone in on my exercise selection and the rep ranges and volume that my body responds to best. Here’s how I’m structuring my workouts for each phase of the cycle:

Block 1 (5 weeks):
  • Daily Morning Fasted Cardio: 20 minutes
  • Day 1: Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders
  • Day 2: Back, Chest, Forearms
  • Day 3: Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders
  • Rest Day
    Repeat.
Block 1 will focus on arms and shoulders, while Blocks 2, 3 & 4 will shift towards chest and back specializations as my cycle progresses.

🥗 Diet:

My calorie requirements for maintenance are a bit different. Guidelines suggest that persons with SCI have reduced metabolic activity due to denervated muscle in muy lower limbs and therefore need fewer calories than non-paralyzed individuals. So for someone like myself, it works out to be around ~30 calories per kg of body weight. So on the upper limit, 2400 calories are just for maintenance (pretty easy to hit on my appetite). I aim for 175-200g of daily protein intake but don't strictly track calories yet. Kinda eyeball them and stick to a very predictable daily diet which is generally low fat and fill the rest with a variety of carb sources. I've also included a post-workout shake this time round. Anyway, I'll be sharing photos of what I eat to illustrate what mean. Open to feedback of course :)

I missed my 20mins of morning cardio today tho as I had to attend to something early in the morning, but will make it up before lunchtime today.

This was my breakfast today. Looks pretty much the same every single morning. I like to keep most of my meals predictable (especially breakfast) because I know what digests well for me (and I'm capable of cooking haha) as well as basic macro breakdowns.

1 cup of Green Tea (I'll take in all of my supplements with this)
1 tub of high-protein low-fat greek yogurt (I literally have a whole shelf full of these in my fridge at any one time)
1 scoop of oats + 250ml of skim milk + 1 scoop of WPI
2 organic free-range eggs (from the farm) scrambled with a small cube of grass-fed butter + sprinkled with some chilli flakes

70-75g of protein in this meal.

This was my pre-workout snack today. I don't always have a pre-workout meal, but since it's the weekend and I'm less rushed for time, I'll take advantage of it.

I was curious about this 'cream of rice' trend so picked some up recently. This bag cost about $35. But it turns out all 'cream of rice' is just white rice flour haha (it's stated in the ingredients list on the packet). It's a great source of carbs without the other calories, but 1kg of white rice flour costs less than $10 at the local supermarket (doesn't have the flashy marketing on the packet). I don't like the artificial flavours anyway as they can unsettle my gut after a while. I even buy my WPI unflavored. Just tastes like normal milk. So I'll try the supermarket 'white rice flour' when this bag is finished.

The protein bar is the only kind of protein bar I'd have tbh. It's the only one that I like the taste of, digests properly and doesn't make me gassy. And it only has a handful of natural ingredients (inc. WPI as the protein source). It's convenient and for only 137 calories and has a good ingredient profile, it makes sense.

All up this gives me:

21g of Protein
55g of Carbs
(2 scoops + 250ml of skim milk)

I was wondering why it never really took off in Australia...

If you mix it well it's really easy to just drink it as opposed to having to chew oats or rice. It looks like baby food tho haha

If the white rice flour mixes well, I can actually see myself consuming it regularly as part of my diet. It's much quicker and easier to prepare than cooking rice.

Yeah bro some foods or flavours don’t always transcend despite being so similar, and cream of rice was always popular cos of the old school bodybuilding

Yeah for sure much easier then cooking rice, guess depending on how much macros you have spare and if your eating it or drinking it

If your eating it with whey and want texture, Rice Bubbles / puffs / even the gluten free ones are pretty mad and dirt cheap. Low fat and sugar per 100g to

This is the morning cardio machine that I use. It's an arm-bike, so basically what you'd be peddling with your legs, I do it with my arms. I put fat gripz on the handles to give my forearms a bit of work too. I can adjust the resistance using the blue knob down the bottom. Every morning I do (as part of this log) 20 minutes on this whilst I listen to a podcast or YouTube video to help pass the time. This was today's numbers, I hit a total of 1550 revolutions and had an average heart rate of 145bpm (probably went a little extra hard haha). I aim for zone 2 cardio, so have my average heart rate around 120bpm. I track my heart rate using my Apple Watch.

I know that it can be injected IM, but does that yield better IGF1 numbers or localised growth? in comparison to SubQ? I've read that it just hit peak serum concentrations quicker doing IM.

subQ imo not effective for much I would local inject it where you want the most recovery @TheOne1
 
I reconstituted my first vial of @Core Pharma HGH last night. I put 3ml of BAC water into the vial and the vacuum of the vial sucked in the BAC water just like you would expect a well-made HGH vial to do. So doing the maths, every 1IU is 0.3ml. So I drew 0.6ml from the vial to inject SubQ.

I pinned 2IU of this for the first time last night about 1 hr before going to bed.

2IU is about the therapeutic replacement dose. But gosh, I certainly had a much better and deeper sleep last night. Felt much more refreshed this morning. Better than melatonin would give me. This alone is amazing for me! 🥳

I reconstituted my first vial of @Core Pharma HGH last night. I put 3ml of BAC water into the vial and the vacuum of the vial sucked in the BAC water just like you would expect a well-made HGH vial to do. So doing the maths, every 1IU is 0.3ml. So I drew 0.6ml from the vial to inject SubQ.

I pinned 2IU of this for the first time last night about 1 hr before going to bed.

2IU is about the therapeutic replacement dose. But gosh, I certainly had a much better and deeper sleep last night. Felt much more refreshed this morning. Better than melatonin would give me. This alone is amazing for me! 🥳

I am doing pre workout gh mix with injectable lcarnitine im 3 days in and i feel it absorbing better than subq, i already started to feel bit fuller oppose to how i visually looked at mirror myself.

I dont suggest to any of my clients subQ anymore, just nasty lumps and low absorption

for sure HGH makes you sleep better @TheOne1 :) I love my prebed hgh dose
but stay at 2IUs for 4-8weeks to feel it

on the IM, I inject arms all the time, bis/tris/shoulders/lats easiest and dont feel much

I was feeling off on Monday and Tuesday so decided to take it off too as fatigue was probably accumulating over the last workout block too.

@HybridLabs gear has been pinning well. I put the Primo and Test E into the same barrel of a syringe to inject, it helps avoid the normal PIP that comes with Primo. @Core Pharma HGH has been fantastic too! It's made a noticeable impact on sleep quality. I didn't take melatonin last night and I still had a great sleep :sleep:

Here's today's workout log (haha I make my spreadsheet and just fill it in on my phone... I always find something irritating about apps, so just stick with this way). I also took 10mg pre-workout sublingual Anavar.

I had a great mind-muscle connection today. Good pump too. Tried Dumbbell Lat Pullovers as a substitute for the single-arm Lat Pull down machine I normally do. Felt sooo good! Lats got an amazing stretch and pump. Might actually become one of my favourite exercises :love:

My Mrs. meal preps for me 🫡

I did some shopping yesterday and she made 30 meals for me today, all packaged into these glass food containers. I'm only useful for basic breakfast and random snacks, so I don't get in the way in the kitchen haha. There's 1 beef meal and 1 chicken meal that I alternate 😋

Straight after my workout, I'll also have a post-workout shake. It's a simple one, just 2 scoops of WPI and 1 scoop of dextrose. Macros for the shake comes to 50g protein and 45g carbs.

training is perfect but would like to see a few 20 rep sets where you go slow smaller weight

I generally like to take a weight to 15 reps before increasing the load. Do you find 20 rep sets better for hypertrophy?

Had a little lingering DOM's from the previous session, but arms and shoulders day is always fun. Missed the shoulder press tho as I ran out of time, but I like to make it up on another day if I can. This is one version of my second arms day, and my second arms day changes up the tricep exercises. Overall, felt good, nice pump and decent intensity.

as in just one 20rep working set or as a warm-up?
working set to close the exercise, you'll see bigger blood flow and pumps (low weight)
 
UPDATE:

Looks like I'm going to be away from weight training until at least this Wednesday. I've been unwell 🤒 over the weekend so haven't had the best time. My disability compromises my immunity to some things and so I've had an infection that requires antibiotics 💊 that makes me feel 😵‍💫 most of the day. So I've taken off work and am focusing on nutrition and rest to ensure I get back to 100% ASAP. For disclosure, I did have 3 pieces of BBQ Chicken pizza 🍕on Saturday night tho haha, but that's all. Kept it pretty clean and routine since then :)

It's nothing serious, just need to go through the meds 💊 to get rid of it. This happens from time to time, but becoming much less frequent in recent years. I will continue my daily cardio to keep up a basic level of fitness and hopefully be back to pumping the weights and back on track with this log in a few days 💪

Feels soo good to be back. I started my session a bit cautiously as I expected to lose a bit of strength and stamina, but once I got warmed up, I just went for it and didn't look back. I aimed to at least match what I did in my last session of that body part and that turned out to be a pretty comfortable bar to reach. I could have pushed a little harder but I was satisfied with being back in the gym and feeling better. I like this foundation that I have set, everything is moving nicely and i'm soo ready to take this up a few more notches!

Still on some oral antibiotics, but the infection is under control now so won't be much longer to come off them completely.

Did a bit of extra cardio over the weekend. So 2 x 30mins sessions. Couldn't squeeze a weights session at the gym, unfortunately. But the next two weeks are full steam ahead, don't have anything in my way!

Yea it's a cable curl that you do in a stretched position. I prefer to do it as a hammer curl instead of a traditional grip because it's easier on my wrist. I don't know why, but it puts unusual pressure on my wrist when it comes to cables that way :/

Gear update:

I've been pinning 0.3ml of each of these daily (works out to be 525mg Test E a week and 420mg Primo E a week). Both compounds are @HybridLabs. This is how much of each vial I have left so far. I mix both oils into the same barrel of a syringe to reduce PIP from the Primo. I still get slight PIP tho, but it's much better than doing it on its own. I've been pinning alternating delts.

I did a blood test🩸this morning to keep an eye on my Estrogen levels 📉 just to see what this dose of Primo has done to it. I felt like my sex drive had dropped over the last couple of weeks (that could be due to various non-gear-related reasons such as illness too), but I thought it was a good time to check it out anyway. There are a few other tests such as Cystatin C, CRP, Lipids, Progesterone, Prolactin, DHEA and others. This info would be good to know as I'm due to add NPP into my cycle in a couple of weeks. Will share the results here when I get them 🫡

Gear update:

A big thank you to @Core Pharma for sending through a second batch of their HGH. I have been pinning 3.33IU nightly (so currently I finish 1 vial every 3 days) and have tolerated it very well. It's made a noticeable difference to my sleep quality and recovery. This has been fantastic! My muscles feel a little fuller but I don't think I've had much water retention and can't gauge fat loss yet tbh. I'm only 2 weeks in though. I think the telmisartan keeps most of that under control. I have pinned both SubQ and IM, but will stick with IM moving forward. I did my first bicep HGH injection last night haha. It just appeared like a weird place to pin, but it went in easy and I made sure to stay away from blood vessels. Might keep to the biceps and triceps for IM HGH injections moving forward. I also included an IGF1 test in my blood test this morning. So it will be interesting to compare the numbers with the baseline I had before this cycle. Will share the results when I have them 🫡
