BACKGROUND
So here I am, 37 years old, proud father of three boys who think I’m some kind of superhero… despite the fact I’ve been rocking a dad bod built through years of neglect, enthusiastic carb-loading, and a professional-level talent for saying, “I’ll start Monday.”
One item has been sitting on my bucket list for years: stepping on stage and actually looking like I belong there.
This year, I finally decided - enough is enough!
I hired a coach. I got a doctor to fix my quietly retiring testosterone. I locked in. Three weeks in, I was basically a new man.
Then—because the universe has a sense of humour—tragedy struck.
I challenged my kids to a relay race to show them Dad’s still got wheels.
What I actually had was five steps before I tripped, rolled, heard a snap echo through my skull, and absolutely annihilated my collarbone.
But pride is undefeated. I got up and finished the race… before immediately entering that cold-sweat state where your body goes, “Mate, you’re cooked.
Ambos, hospital, and a confirmation that I’d snapped my collarbone so enthusiastically the bone tried to punch through the skin. Surgery followed. Frustration followed. And then something else—something deeper.
The look on my boys’ faces when they saw me in pain.
That moment hit harder than the ground did.
Their superhero dad was human after all—and that became the fire that pushed me through everything that came next.
From that point, the goal wasn’t just about me stepping on stage anymore. That became secondary.
It became about showing my boys what it looks like to keep going—through setbacks, through pain, through the moments that knock you down and dare you to stay there.
So I trained around the injury. I stuck with my coach. I stayed with my doctor. I stayed in the gym, even when all I could move was everything except my right shoulder.
And now, 6 weeks post-surgery, I’ve just been cleared to return to real strength training.
This is where the comeback begins.
The Dad Bod era is over.
The Stage Bod era—powered by three little pairs of eyes watching—starts now.
STATS
A special mention to @PharmabolicsOz & @StoryOfTheProphet whose products I will be logging.
I reached out to @PharmabolicsOz to discuss a few of the products he offers. As we kept talking, I opened up about my goals, my training background, and what was driving me through this whole journey. He was immediately supportive and, after taking everything on board, came back with a clear, structured plan to help guide my recovery and keep me moving towards my goal.
I will be logging the following products for him:
My experience has been the opposite. I’ve been on his HGH for almost three weeks now, and he’s been nothing but a gentleman—genuine, supportive, and actually trying to help the community.
Because of that, I’m more than happy to log my experience properly. If someone helps you out, the least you can do is return the respect. I hate seeing good people taken advantage of.
NOTE - For both vendors, I will be doing bloods and posting my results accordingly.
