Alright legends, now the formalities are out of the way - I want to use my coaching thread to add a little value back into the forum - especially for the newer guys!

Overtime I’ll try share some common issues and patterns I see with my clients, that may help you out as well.

So one of the biggest ones I see is meal prep, making it easy and saving time.

I’m going to kick it off with a simple one - the classic gym bro cream of rice (COR)

I do have 3 versions I make (classic rice flour, cooked rice and a pancake) this one will be the simple rice flour version.

1: In a large microwave safe mixing bowl add
Rice flour
Cinnamon
Salt / light salt (diet dependent)
Psyllium husk powder (diet dependent)

2: Pour in boiling water and whisk immediately
More or less water depending how thick you want it, the key is using a whisk!

3: Microwave for 1.5 minutes
- remove and whisk hard

4: Microwave again for 1.5 minutes
- remove and whisk hard again

5: From here add:
Option:
A: Add in whey and whisk hard
B: Make a whey drip, and pour over top

6: The top ups:
Now you can top with berries, banana, honey, nut butter (depending on your diet / macros)

Lemmmme know how you go!

Higher fat option: peanut butter, almond butter, coconut, 90% dark chocolate

Now this may seem a bit “basic” for some of you seasoned vets, but one of the biggest issue I run into for clients when it comes to meal prep - is how to do it in bulk and not taste like shit!

Chicken Breast - Bulk Meal Prep
  1. Preheat oven to 185°C.
  2. Line a baking tray with foil or baking paper.
  3. Place raw chicken breasts onto the tray.
  4. Add light seasoning as desired (based on your macros).
  5. Place in the oven and cook for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and allow to cool down.
  7. Choose your method:
    • Shred by hand for a ‘pulled chicken’ style
    • or Slice thin with a knife into
That’s it, Whack it in air tight containers, or store in zip lock bags in the freezer for longer. Happy cooking fam!

A little seasoning goes a loonnggggg way when sticking to a proper meal plan 💯💯

I also love using salsa. Most salsas are around 35 calories per 100g. Flavour and moisture in one 👌

Continuing down the easy meal prep path, I’m going to drop this tasty as fuck bulk chicken meal prep!

Now this may seem a bit “basic” for some of you seasoned vets, but one of the biggest issue I run into for clients when it comes to meal prep - is how to do it in bulk and not taste like shit!

Chicken Breast - Bulk Meal Prep
  1. Preheat oven to 185°C.
  2. Line a baking tray with foil or baking paper.
  3. Place raw chicken breasts onto the tray.
  4. Add light seasoning as desired (based on your macros).
  5. Place in the oven and cook for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and allow to cool down.
  7. Choose your method:
    • Shred by hand for a ‘pulled chicken’ style
    • or Slice thin with a knife into
That’s it, Whack it in air tight containers, or store in zip lock bags in the freezer for longer. Happy cooking fam!

Such a good idea to bulk prep protein - can’t ever get bored of it either as you can always switch up the carbs, veg and condiments to make an entirely different meal.

Thanks as always sis 👊 It’s a simple concept don’t get me wrong, but still a pain point for heaps of my clients and balancing there hectic schedules that it’s worth bringing up 🙏

Yep yep dried parsley on this one, it was one of many random spice blends I’d make up - I tend to make a new once each week

I've been with him for around a month so far and it has been far beyond amazing. I’ve already started seeing results quickly throughout the week. His nutrition, bloodwork and supplement guidance is spot on, and the meal prep has been tailored perfectly to suit my lifestyle, making it extremely easy for me to prep throughout the week. Training has been superb and all his feedback given is phenomenal. You'll definitely see that he takes planning and time with each of his clients. So proud of this guy right here - only 4 week in and how has fully locked in - and changed his lifestyle and mindset! This is what I got into coaching for, to make a real impact mentally- not just physically!
