I was super impressed myself today, being able to push myself to my fullest. I think a few times I was a little too ambitious, thinking I could go heavier, but hey, I have definitely noticed my strength slowly increasing.

Today was a great day; my parents came over and looked after the kids, which made it easier for my husband and me to stay extra focused during our training. I was feeling pretty strong and determined to hit the 10 kg weights after my 2 warm-up sets with the incline dumbbell press. The first working set, I felt pretty strong being able to push myself to 9 reps, but I was only able to hit 6 reps on my second set as I lost balance of the weight in my right hand and wasn't able to get it back, so my hubby helped me bring the weight down safely.
I was able to get PBs in a few of my exercises today. Shoulder press felt strong today. I got a PB of 9kg, hit 10 reps in the first working set, and said to myself, "I can do one extra rep next set." It was a struggle, but I did it, and was very proud of myself.
By the end of our workout, I still had a bit left in the tank for my bicep cable curls, so I finished very strongly with drop sets. This left me with a nice pump, so I thought, why not flex and pose in the mirror? haha
