Prob not gonna go quite that hard yet. This is only my third time doing leg presses for the better part of 8mos. This first block is just to get me used to moving heavier weights again and to get used to exercises that I haven't been doing. Couple more weeks of this and then a back off week and then it's full gas!!!!!!!!Next 6 weeks you should do 5 painful sets f leg press. Enough where you feel like standing next to the garbage can after each set.

Strong arm session too, 40s on curls for sets of 7 is no joke and pressing that 190 on machine pushdowns shows triceps are handling the load well. We ended up going to a small bar out near our property. I had a huge salad with walnuts and apples and a Cajun chicken wrap with fries. Was really good. Wife had a grilled chicken sandwich and a salad. Was a pretty good blues band playing live while we ate. Was nice.Good update. That meal sounds solid, plenty of protein and fats in there with the chicken and walnuts, good fuel for recovery. Iron at 15g daily has you covered and if you’re already moving heavy weight while just getting food back in that’s a good sign.We ended up going to a small bar out near our property. As far as tha iron I supplement 15g daily so should be good. Lifting pretty heavy for just starting to eat again and all is feeling great. Little niggle on the shoulder but nothing in the gym is bothering it. Had an X-ray that looked good and taking prednisone to get inflammation down. Gonna have a precautionary mri but I don’t see any issue aside from inflammation and a little arthritis.
Exited to hit it next week. Plan has me pressing 290 on the incline for 6. We will see. Last build my 1rm on the flat bench was 315. Think I’ll be repping 315 is all goes well this year.

Prednisolone is a hell of a anti inflammatory drug, i have it prescribed for when my lower back flares up. I try to leave it for emergency only kinda situations but wow it sure is effective lol.We ended up going to a small bar out near our property. I had a huge salad with walnuts and apples and a Cajun chicken wrap with fries. Was really good. Wife had a grilled chicken sandwich and a salad. Was a pretty good blues band playing live while we ate. Was nice.
As far as tha iron I supplement 15g daily so should be good. Lifting pretty heavy for just starting to eat again and all is feeling great. Little niggle on the shoulder but nothing in the gym is bothering it. Had an X-ray that looked good and taking prednisone to get inflammation down. Gonna have a precautionary mri but I don’t see any issue aside from inflammation and a little arthritis.
Exited to hit it next week. Plan has me pressing 290 on the incline for 6. We will see. Last build my 1rm on the flat bench was 315. Think I’ll be repping 315 is all goes well this year.
I’ve tried many different training methods for arms. This is the formula that seems to work best.I might have you do 1-2 LESS exercises for arms and take the intensity up a notch

Follow up bloods where better than last time so going in the right direction. Dig your armpit into a bar and swing your arm back and forth with a 10 lb weight. It loosens up all that tightness. Its easiest to do it on a smith machine because you can raise the bar to the correct height really fast.10/1/2025

I added deca in early September because I enjoyed npp previously, but after a few weeks it was definitely hitting me mentally. Which sucks because it was really starting to show already. Looking good, feeling horrible. I had to drop it and only now am I feeling better. No proven like so many people say to run with deca? You just don’t have any issues with it?

5 Weeks down! Weight is jumping up daily now. Everything felt light today!! Hopefully a great sign of things to come. Shoulder is about 95% better now after massage. May still go for an MRI but all signs lead to tight pecs/lats/biceps. Hopefully be able to get in for another massage next week.
2 more weeks to go on this training block before a recovery week then it’s full gas after!!!

I usually run deca on the lower end. I don’t get any mental sides unless I run it for extended periods. I just kinda of muted my feelings a bit. The test/deca/eq is my favorite for a growth cycle. This has prob been the best start to a build phase as I’ve had in years. Everything is going I. The right direction. I think the addition of insulin post workout was a game changer for me. Pressing strength looks strong with that 300x6 PR and the session layout covers full chest range. Keep HS incline as your main press and add a slow negative on converging chest press to extend tension, holding 3 sets of 10–12 until you hit 155 per side before pushing load again.
The 2700 cals at 286P and 268C suits 209 lbs for recomp pace, and the thigh-based meals balance fats well. You can hold this intake another week before bumping carbs +25 g if weight trends down under 207.

There is a possible anxiety factor with NPP more than deca but can drop in with deca.I haven't run Deca but suffer from anxiety, I started using Selank and it basically wipes it out, I only pin it when the anxiety really gets up there, 100% worth trying it.
