Self-TRT recommended dosage

Hello brothers !

This is my first post and I'm happy to be here. Going to start self TRT soon + cycling a bit later. I would like to hear opinions regarding dosage amount to start with.

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight,height,age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

the big problem with any TRT that i see is people run too much. this leads to the situation where it becomes counterproductive and you drastically can shorten your lifespan

100mgs a week is a good starting self TRT #.. but where are your bloods?

trt can vary from person to person. its best to start at 100-150mgs a week then get bloods done

100-120mg/wk is a great dose to start at.

That is reflective on blood work u should get first before starting trt
 
Log:

My goal is to start self TRT. I plan to start test cyp @ 120 mg /week. Followed by blood work every 2-3 months. Once bloods look good and I feel better, then I will start a new log for a test only cycle.

I am 34 years old, 5'8 and 200lbs. Never had major health concerns or injuries. I don't smoke or drink alcohol. Never done any anabolics before. Currently from recent blood work my total test levels were 254ng/dL. In the last 5 years I have been experiencing a tough time building new muscle, having low energy and weakness at work and in the gym. Feeling like it takes longer to recover and tired all the time. So I need to make a change and up my lvls. I'm sleeping about 7-7.5 hrs a night. Once in a while maybe 6.5 hrs.

Bloods:

My estradiol is 30, my Ls/fsh were in range, no prostate concerns, ALT was 35 and seems to be in range, hematocrit was 0.5. Total testosterone was 8.8nmol/L and free testosterone was 4.4nmol/L. Current doctor states im low range + I still have "some" testosterone but... im "not low enough" for him to prescribe testosterone and recommended HCG/2000 iu per week long term which I don't like the sound of that. From my research it shouldn't be used long term.

Diet/ food:
4-5 meals per day spaced out and eating every 3-4 hrs.
Food consisting of eggs, chicken, beef, rice, sweet potato, oatmeal. Snacks of fruit, vegetables, almonds and pecans. I mix it up depending on how I feel. I have 2 cups of black coffee per day, one glass of whole milk a day. I don't count calories, and my meal portion size is never huge.

Workouts:
  • Monday: Quads , Hamstrings , Cardio
  • Tuesday: Chest , Abs, cardio
  • Wednesday: Shoulders, cardio
  • Thursday: Back, Abs, cardio
  • Friday: Arms ,cardio
  • Weekend: Rest day
  • I will switch it up every couple weeks if I feel bored

Supplements:
Fish oil
Creatine
Zinc
Magnesium
Vitamin D

Open a new thread, choose a name for your log and post pics of your physique. Then you're good to go and can cut and paste most of this into it. Formatting looks good for a first post too.
