Did a quicker leg day did some super sets. No PRs today tgst I know of. Did only 4 sets 7 on ss squats vs 5! It’s ok. Felt better doing 7s. Went up on my leg ext to 130lbs. Kept my leg press same higher wt as last week but for 2 sets! Was decent squat day. I prob could have hit 10 reps now that the PEDs are kicking in. But dialed down a few. In the end I know there will be gains. Knee tendons feeling sore but nothing g out of the ordinary! Have a good weekend. Happy Lifting! 💪🌸

We do hog squat racks but it’s adjustable real comp squat rack so you can work in multiple lifters if they wanna work in with us. It’s just changing the rack height and weights. That’s the cardio aspect lol. 💪
 
@RoidRageWife the squats are pretty solid. i like how you start at 65lbs then work your way up. I see too many people trying to do 200+ and not warming up
Yep warm up stretching is important. Once Im warm I usually can just go into working sets on all my leg exercises. I only do like one set of warmup on a new muscle group maybe like if we do incline bench norm warm up then We go do lat Pulldowns Im gonna do a couple lower sets then do working sets. Go to biceps do one warm up then do working sets. Don’t need a torn or strained muscle!
 
The most impressive part is she is stronger now than ever and we are only on week 5 of 16 for the cycle. Her strength gains are linear on every cycle she's ever done. I would say on her main 3 lifts her RPE on the 5th set of 7-10 is around 7-8
That’s a great sign, steady linear strength gains by week 5 show the cycle setup and recovery are spot on. RPE 7-8 on the last set means she’s pushing hard but not overreaching, perfect for long-term progression. She’s on track for a strong finish by week 16. :D
 
We do hog squat racks but it’s adjustable real comp squat rack so you can work in multiple lifters if they wanna work in with us. It’s just changing the rack height and weights. That’s the cardio aspect lol. 💪

Worked hard today on bench blew off 2.5lb increase went up 11lbs. (Using kilo plates which is why our numbers look funny all the time they’re rounded) so last week 154 today 165 bench figured going down to 7 reps best increase more. My speed was ok. Not like last week but it was 11lbs & was feeling ok. Not a PR on my reps at this weight I’ve hit 7-8reps at this weight just not 5 sets maybe 3 sets. Got it done!! Increased my closegrip from last session so Im happy with it. Just gotta keep going. Happy lifting 💪🌸

Strong progress on the bench with that 11lb jump and solid work holding 7 reps for 5 sets. Keep the incline fly around 40–45 lbs but push the top set toward 12 reps before moving up, and keep the close grip bench in for triceps drive since you’re handling it well. You're hardcore sister :D

and great pull day. Narrowing the sumo stance was the right move for that groin strain, so stay with that setup until it’s pain free and skip max pulls for 1–2 weeks while you stretch and ice daily.

Applebees for my Birthday dinner. Im not Fancy. Was good. Buffalo chicken bites app, Chicken Parm Fetacinni Alfredo Had a big mai tai and something called draculas blood. Free blondie for desert. Was full. Good deadlift food! Go Mariners! Hope they advance in the playoffs.

sounds to me like you have some sort of low grade tear @RoidRageWife anything around the groin is an issue. might want to lay off for a bit and let it heal so it doesnt' tear more

I always start with compound exercise to warm up do my Competition lift then do accessory’s. I don’t trade out RDLs for regular deads. Sometimes I’ll Do a cable seated row instead of Bentover bb row. Or hammer strength iso lateral rows. Just like always do a squat we just been using safety bar but won’t substitute a diff lift or front squat for a back squat. Will add front squat in.

Thank you both. I did make American record on my deadlift In July at 385! I also am ranked number one in world for my powerlifting tilt Al for my age and wt at the 132lb even though I don’t have any world records which will be next. I gotta regroup now that I just turned 55. New American records to set which should be doable at both 60kg and 67.5kg weight classes the 67.5kg squat at 369 is gonna be my challenge I think my squat has historically been behind my deadlifts but I’m working hard to change that ! Thx for the kind words it is possible to stay strong after 40-50 as we age. Consistency! Happy lifting 💪🌸

Decent accessory day. Got my Incline BB Bench went up 5lbs to 165. I think I’ve come close to matching pr here on reps. Did a heavier straight arm pullover's with rope Thats a bit harder than straight or curl bar. Done this weight before but did pr reps. Feeling good with the days work. Got cardio in the walking felt good stretched out loosened up the groin area!
Added creatine back in this week Monday Looks like body weight has shifted up a bit as expected i hit 150lbs again. Had a lot of salt & extra carbs last few days too. eating eggs more often as well. Tomorrow we have legs!!💪🌸

Nice progress on the incline bench, hitting 165 for triples shows strength is climbing fast. Keep that weight for one more week before pushing higher and stay strict on pullover form to protect shoulders.

Creatine and carbs are likely driving the weight jump, not fat gain. :D

Thx Lev. It should be. You still reading my log wrong. Bro I never do 7 sets of any one exercise!! I do 3 sets of 7 reps. I always list exercise then reps then sets. Do you post it differently? My strength training I start lower wt and have an increase each week I lower the reps and volume when I get to certain weight levels. Heavier go lower reps. This works for me been doing it for years! Im number one in the world. If it’s working Im not changing it! 😆💪🌸

Keep the same progression pace, add 5 lbs again next week if recovery feels good. You’re on track for that 235 lb goal easily if this rhythm holds.

Strong deadlift day, 303 lbs for 5x7 is great pulling volume and that 275 lbs RDL PR means posterior chain is catching up fast. The 226 lbs rows cleaned up your back work nicely, perfect call holding load to focus on form.

Good recovery plan with the stretch and roll before, and keep that mid session sugar handy when pushing heavy. Eat a full carb meal post shake to refill glycogen and stay stable through the night. :D

It's pretty easy to see how your upper back is so jacked with rows and shrugs this heavy. Impressive for a person your size.

Week 6 finishing ahead of your last cycle is a good sign of consistent training and recovery. Keep the 30 min treadmill work steady while calories stay high enough to support strength growth.

I upped wt from my 245 to 285 and thought I’ll be happy with 1-2 reps, felt good, so I thought well may as well keep going so I did…. cranked out 5! Was quite happy with myself! We called it a day. Good session. The 285 lb Duffalo bar set for 5 reps is a strong PR, and stacking that after 3 sets of 245 on the SSB makes for a heavy day sister!

Good move testing the new bar since the curve eases shoulder strain, you moving in the right place.

Bench at 176 lbs for 5 sets of 7 is solid work and the close grip follow up kept triceps firing even with the shoulder issue.

Good call stopping early, rest and red light will help a lot, and lighter high rep bodybuilding style can keep progress steady while the joint calms down sister

Deadlifts were good! Went to conventional no hip or groin issues with conventional so will just continue stretching rolling it! I went up scheduled 5lbs got ‘em all. Was tiring. Heart rate was staying high today not recovering as fast during training think was resting less between sets I guess. Did have rep PR at 308lbs ! Took break from RDLs did increase weight on the one set from 275 up to 297 which is PR for weight but focused on Bent-over Rows went up on those as well 226 up to 231 rep pr there too. Dud easy shrugs was spent. My theoretical deadlift Max should be sitting about 400! One more week of 7rep sets of 5!! Then can do 5x5s!! Happy lifting💪🌸

Good back day. 308 lbs x7x5 and 297 lbs RDL PR both strong pulls, recovery held even with short rest.

400 max looks close now, keep stretching that hip and groin so you can push clean next week.

You've just joined :D @Sheshredz 1 IU is fine you don't need 5/2 with such a low dose. But 5/2 with higher doses is recommended, at least in the start to mitigate sides. @Sheshredz

Reduce risk of side effects gives your body a break helps blood sugars sometimes if they run higher from the Gh or possible joint issues esp in hands fingers. Last a little longer. Everybody reacts diff. Depend on how sensitive your body is to it.

Knees can flare a bit mid cycle but sleeves and the NPP bump should ease that soon.

@RoidRageWife that's a good sign that it's hard to eat so much. Most people have the opposite problem they want to eat and eat and eat. At least that your brain is telling you it's too much food.

Yea it’s weird since the long Semaglutide run we did it seems I’ve noticed it. Losing a lot of fat and having a diff balance lean muscle prob had a really good reset on my metabolism. Shrunk stomach which can just stretch back out as we know. Im glad for the need to force it. Makes it easier to keep a maintenance calories. So many people suffer from the bad yo-yo weight gain-loss.

Yea I think you can definitely keep strength but there definitely is muscle loss though. It’s a balance you really have to work hard not to atrophy or lose tgst good muscle weight by training & eating good. But sure we can gain Strength💪🌸

Did another 5lb increase on bench. Impressing myself with this volume at this weight! Wow 🥳181 still glad the 7 reps are behind me now! Chest shoulders feel great! No pain really with benching today. One more session on Back Deads 7 reps. Deads are really hard pulling out that volume when weight gets up there. The wide grip bench has been going up nicely as well. We do every other week trade off close grip & wide grip on chest day. So 2 weeks ago was only doing 155lb wide grip. I went up 10lbs vs 5. I did only 2 sets felt like this was good. I had a couple left in the tank here. Finished with tris. 30 reps on dips another wow for me!! Knees even feeling better today. Niw gotta work on food going in!! Getting strong AF! well if you lose 10 pounds of course some of that will be muscle. but % wise its not that big a deal vs. the fat you are losing
