Prep Update – Week 2

Apologies for the late update—it’s been a hectic few weeks! We're now into Week 2 of prep, as coach and I decided to kick things off early. Feeling good about the decision and already seeing momentum build. These check-in pics are from Saturday this week.

Cycle Adjustments

We’ve made a few changes to the drug protocol heading into prep:
  • Testosterone Enanthate: 700mg/week
  • Primobolan Enanthate: 1200mg/week
  • Equipoise (EQ): 900mg/week (swapped in as I ran out of Masteron and Sassy was out—keen to trial EQ)
  • Rapid Insulin: 10iu pre-training
  • Growth Hormone: 2iu pre-bed (starting tonight, will increase to 4iu over the next few days—likely to gain a few kilos from this, so curious to see next week’s check-ins)

Current Bodyweight

  • 139.3kg (fasted)

Nutrition Overview

I’ll post a full day of eating soon, but here’s the macro breakdown for now:
💪 Training Days:
  • Calories: 5885
  • Protein: 330g
  • Carbs: 950g
  • Fats: 85g
😴 Rest Days:
  • Calories: 5440
  • Protein: 330g
  • Carbs: 850g
  • Fats: 80g

Cardio

  • 60 minutes per week, split into two 30-minute fasted sessions on:
    • Wednesday (Rest Day)
    • Sunday (Rest Day)

Training Split

  • Monday: Legs
  • Tuesday: Push & Arms
  • Wednesday: Rest
  • Thursday: Pull & Hamstrings
  • Friday: Push
  • Saturday: Shoulders & Arms
  • Sunday: Rest

I'm feeling really driven going into this prep. I genuinely believe we can bring something impressive to the stage this year—if everything runs smoothly and I can grow into the early weeks, this could be a very special season. Excited to keep pushing and dial things in. Will keep everyone updated!

@PassiveHulk Looking fantastic man, you've got an excellent physique. Thanks for taking the time to do the posing.

Still rolling with some of the higher-calorie, less “clean” food sources from offseason, but this setup allowed me to push past 7600+ calories previously. Honestly I'm just really enjoying the lower volume of food right now while keeping the diet palatable—once appetite kicks up again, there’s a lot of room to tidy things up and drive satiety while staying in full control through prep.

@PassiveHulk t's great to hear you're feeling driven and optimistic about bringing something impressive this year. That positive mindset combined with this rigorous plan is a powerful combination.

What do you feel you get from a coach?
Ah this is a great question!
This is extremely individual specific I think and their specific needs - I am also a coach - so everyone needs something different and will get something different of value from that relationship
For me, what I most value is the removal of decision making, I have full and complete trust in my coach and every decision he makes I know and trust is in my best interest so it removes any anxiety around what is the next step. Bodybuilding is such a multifaceted sport, there's a million different ways to do everything, so I think that in order to be an exceptional athlete, it requires an objective eye overseeing the process, particularly in the back end of a prep your perspective is extremely subjective to so many mixed emotions and there's chemicals and hormones running rampant that causes a warping of your perspective and it is no longer objective based.
So for me, my coach making decisions around when to push, when to pull back, what decisions are made around input and output to manage energy balance and fatigue etc makes the most sense to me, for then all I have to focus on is sticking to the plan and ticking the boxes and that removes a tremendous amount of stress which would also massively negatively affect the look and the process as we know cortisol has a very negative effect on all anabolic and lipolytic processes.
In the offseason I manage my nutrition and training and just get my coach (who is very well versed in PEDs application and health) to do my supplementation guidelines and recommendations and bloodwork and other health analysis

@PassiveHulk cardio and training splits are amazing.

do you think though you are overtraining shoulders a bit much?
Thank you bro! Not really, I only really train shoulders directly once per week on each head and do no overhead pressing or shoulder pressing of any kind

@PassiveHulk Nice job on this my man. Much respect for this, the cardio and training splits look fantastic.
Thank you!
