Ankylosing Spondylitis in my lower back.
Chronic Fatigue issues.

GOALS; Build muscle/drop fat.

Hey all excited to be starting a log about my HRT and training thanks to my sponser @Liquid Gold Labs !

I’ve been weight training about 4 years now, for those first 3.5 years I didn’t realise my hormones were totally out of whack, so to say building muscle has been hard is an understatement!!
I do struggle with fatigue and find that’s my main issue with building muscle, is that I rarely have enough stamina to really push hard in the gym, but I still go and do my best.

I have decided to stop chasing fat loss and eat at maintenance for the entire year, and see how much muscle I can build along with my supps!

Current maintenance cals are 2100 but I will be trying to reverse diet and get my cals up higher, and hopefully this will help boost my metabolism too.

I can see some muscles coming in and people are commenting I look ‘toned’ but I’m determined to build more muscle as I want to be a strong ass woman by the time I hit 50!
Excited to see how I progress this year with help from @Liquid Gold Labs !

Thank you for following along

Updated pics to come, and training/meals etc

Great start to your log smiley!

Stoked to have another sister onboard the team 🥇

Have had quite a long conversation with @Smiley G and can tell you guys that she is one hard working woman 🔥

@Smiley G I am sure your log is going to inspire many other women in a similar situation to yourself and hopefully we can see some more sister logs for HRT in the near future.

The laws in this country surrounding HRT for people such as yourself that genuinely need and would benefit from it are ridiculous - hopefully your progress can be a piece of the puzzle that helps to bring positive change and easier access to HRT for people that would benefit greatly from it.

Will be following along on your fitness journey and can't wait to see what you achieve 💪

We got your back sis, may the gains begin and the good times roll 🎉

Thank you @Liquid Gold Labs youve been genuinely amazing in your help and willingness to spend time chatting to me, very daunting for someone like me to know who to trust in this kind of industry, but you’ve been just fantastic and it’s really put me at ease!
I feel so sad for so many women who are suffering… Dr’s say ‘your hormones are normal, take this anti depressant’ and that’s all they have to offer.. meanwhile, we lose energy, we lose hair, we lose muscle, we lose skin elasticity,we lose our libido, we lose our joy for living! No wonder so many relationships breakdown.
Hopefully my log will help others as you’ve said, I’m glad you encouraged me to start it 💪🏽💪🏽
Well I’m off to the gym!

sister i trying to get my fat wife to get into shape.

gonna show her log. she going through menopause too but she got knocked up again.. this will be our 8th kid.

What kind of exercise were you doing before you started to weight train 4 years ago?

I'm sure you were doing something like, maybe yoga or Pilates, or some type of cardio.

Can't wait to see your pictures, try and get them up as soon as possible.

This time, we'll have a before and after look, As reference.

Any particular reason, why your doctor thinks that you have thyroid issues

It's a common thing, especially with middle-aged women, but I'm just curious if they said anything.

Make sure and get a paternity test. She probably got knocked up by the exterminator.

Glad to have you! Really nice start to the log. Very interested in following along as this is different from a majority of the logs we get.

Can you post up your blood work? Where it shows that you have low testosterone and low estrogen.
I can post even better then bloodwork, I have a full ‘DUTCH’ test done. It’s a dried urine test which measures everything extre lot more accurately then bloods! Will find it and post !

I was doing Pilates and walking everyday…. But that’s it 😰

Dr actually told me all hormones and bloods were normal, but then I went to specialts who ordered a dried urine test which showed everything was far from normal, hence why I was feeling so unwell

How about you go get the snip so she doesn’t get ‘fat’ anymore bro?? Geez poor woman if she does read this, lady you need a fricken medal! 🙌🏼 all the best with your 8th

Good morning all,
Posting some pics so we have some reference to look back on…
Feeling very vulnerable posting these as all of you are so ripped and muscular and I still have such a long way to to, but hey… got to start somewhere I guess.
I’m also posting my ‘before’ pic of how I looked before I started strength training which is extremely hard for me to share, but if it helps anyone like me then it’s worth it.
The last 4 years have been a slow struggle to recomp, and build muscle, but the HRT in the last 6months has been a game changer!
So I’m super excited for this year as I am dedicating the entire year to building, no dieting! And my supps from @Liquid Gold Labs 🙌🏼 can’t thank him enough for all his help, guidance and support! 100% legend

Someone asked for bloods, these are my DUTCH test results which are more accurate then bloods, as when your Peri-Meno hormones are always so up and down so bloods can be widely up and down also

I'm not ripped lol. Lots of meat with an ice cream sandwich (by belly lol)

I think you are beautiful, no matter what you look like. I can tell you're a beautiful person.

It definitely can get hard, especially when you go through a lot of things.

Glad to see the HRT is paying off for you.

You are proof positive that everybody can change the way they look and the way they feel.

I know it's been tough, but you definitely have worked really hard.

Looking forward to following along. Thanks for posting up the pics. It definitely helps see the changes as you go!

Are you on meds for the AS?
Hey bro, no I’m not on any meds for the AS… dr’s really didn’t have much to offer, I tried LDN for a while (Low Dose Naltrexone) but I didn’t really find it did much.. I try to eat low inflammatory diet etc which seems to be managing it for now… although I do go through stages where pain increases and I get what I call ‘flare ups’ so I usually up my Magnesium, and fish oils, PEA… stuff like that till it calms down again

Yeah agreed diet is huge , I've cut out added sugers and a lot of pain has gone but the afternoon fatigue still hangs around. The other thing I'm reading is to cut out all complex carbs, so I'm keen to give that a go once I've built some muscle.
I'll check out the PEA haven’t heard of that one before

Bro do you have AS also? Yeah the fatigue still gets me, as you say afternoon is the worst…but some days it’s just all day … sucks hey… yes, I really don’t have much sugar at all, causes too much inflammation, and then pain, I have recently tried doing lower carb, and I definitely do feel better on lower carb and higher fats. It’s all about finding what works for your body … if my pain gets too bad, I take Naproxen which is a slow release anti inflammatory … I try not to take them too much tho, but sometimes I have to. I am also going to be trialing micro dosing Retatrutide which is a GLP 1… there is great feedback on the GLp1’s helping lower inflammation and many other health benifits! So I am excited to try that. Will add updates on that here also

Good base

Just a quick check in,

It’s only been 1 day since my supps arrived from @Liquid Gold Labs and I started on my Test Cyp again, and GH 2iu

Previously to this, for the last few months especially I’ve been really struggling with fatigue and also what I like to call ‘doom & gloom’ feelings… it’s hard to explain.. but it’s like this feeling of a dark cloud looming over me, and just feeling really flat and awful. It comes and goes.

Well 24 hours after taking my Test Cyp 5mg and GH I already feel so much better!
The dark cloud has lifted, my mind feels clearer, and I just feel overall more positive.
Amazing how hormones have such a powerful affect on the body. Don’t take them for granted hey …

Off to take my GH and sleep now so I can smash my gym session in the morning, I got me some muscles to build ! Stay healthy everyone 💪🏽

If you can stay on the TRT do t stop it! I strongly believe that is a big reason fir your ill feelings/ mood! If able just stay on it do t cycle It. Your Post menopausal now correct? No reason to stop u less you start getting negative side effects that you just cannot live without. Seems as though the negative sides of being OFF TRT … are out weighing the good effects of being ON TRT for you. So let it be. HGH hopefully helps with recovery sleep and overall well-being. 💪🌸

Will you be micro dosing Retatrutide daily?? Half life of a GLP-1 is like a week. So micro dosing more than 2x a week not really necessary from what I understand. But Retatrutide is 3 antagonists so it’s even more powerful prob faster. You’re not super obese sister. Just Be careful. I’m a believer in slow n steady wins the race. You will likely have a more difficult time getting your proteins in as well reduces cravings slows digestion ect… keep the fiber up too! looking forward to seeing your progress no rush! 💪🙏🏻🌸

Oh no, I will only be micro dosing the Reta once a week. I’m hoping to do such small amounts that it won’t affect my appetite, but will help with things like lowering inflamation, insulin resistance etc.. I know quite a few who dose it extremely small and get all these benefits, and no negative side affects! So fingers crossed!

For sure, micro-dosing seems to reduce many side effects of GLP-1 peptides.
@Pigsy has a microdosing log up with ozempic - https://www.evolutionary.org/forums/threads/semaglutide-ozempic-log.102197/
