Operation Baby Cypher: The Conception Chronicles Begin
Welcome to my official log, where I’ll be documenting the mission to achieve one of my life’s biggest milestones: getting Mrs. Cypher pregnant.
It’s a goal that’s both beautifully simple and biologically complex. So after months of digging into research, absorbing wisdom from the brains here on EVO, and planning like a mad scientist, I’m finally putting things into motion.
Produce viable swimmers, fire them like champions, and make a tiny human.
Simple in theory. Biochemically... not so much.
Since I’ve been off cycle for nearly 8 weeks, the focus now is on restarting the body’s natural production line and giving my fertility every possible advantage.
Bulking can wait — babies come first. Sorry @ODINLABS
Here’s the current regimen:
You didn’t think I’d leave this to guesswork, did you?
Enter YO Sperm Test — a surprisingly legit at-home test that hooks up to your phone and gives you insights into sperm count and motility. It's like a fitness tracker for your swimmers.
I'll be testing every few weeks to see how things are progressing — and yes, I’ll report the data. Because what’s a science-based fertility journey without cold, hard metrics?
This log isn’t just about numbers and hormones — it’s about tracking a deeply personal journey with a bit of humour, a little bit of biology, and hopefully a baby at the end of it all. (Hopefully a boy
)
If you’re on a similar path or just curious, stick around. There’ll be updates, overshares, and probably way too much info about my testicles — but hey, we’re all here to learn!
Now it’s time to let the swimmers swim.
Special mentions to @ODINLABS for his unwavering support of my crazy ideas and @Core Pharma who already had the nuts and bolts of the fertility plan already mapped out.
I’ll also be using sponsored gear from @Wolfenstein (Austix Pharma) to make sure I stay in shape while trying to conceive, namely Reta and MOTS-c.

The Protocol (Making Swimmers Great Again)
Since I’ve been off cycle for nearly 8 weeks, the focus now is on restarting the body’s natural production line and giving my fertility every possible advantage. Bulking can wait — babies come first. Sorry @ODINLABS
Here’s the current regimen:
- HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin)
1500 IU/week, split across Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
Stimulates the ol’ Leydig cells to get testosterone production going again.
- HMG (Human Menopausal Gonadotropin)
75 IU/week, split on Tuesday/Thursday, as needed.
Think of it as HCG’s wingman — encourages sperm development by pushing FSH levels.
- Clomid (Clomiphene Citrate)
Taken daily for the next few weeks. This SERM blocks estrogen receptors in the brain, tricking the body into pumping out more LH and FSH — the hormones that tell your testes, “Let’s go boys, time to work!”
- L-Carnitine
500 mg daily — because mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell... and sperm are basically tiny, hyperactive jet engines.
It boosts sperm motility, and science backs it.
How I’ll Know If It’s Working
