How will Anavar affect TRT blood tests?

Hello All,

I'm in my early 50's and I'm back on TRT (100mg of Test Cyp) per week. I just started again after some time not taking it (long story).

Anyway, I have to see the doc again in 6 weeks for follow up blood testing. Based on that dosing (100mg of Test Cyp) he says I should be in the 400-500 nanograms range. If I throw in some Avanar like (40 mg daily) what if anything might that do to the test? I don't want to spike the levels, from what I've read Anavar would not do that and might only lower the testosterone reading. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I would get private blood tests early to absolutely rule out any chance of an unfavorable result. It’s *possible* that your anavar isn’t anavar. Also, you want to know what it’s doing to you, like your liver enzymes, and if you are hiding it from your doctor you’re hiding it from yourself as well!

If you do private bloodwork you’ll know everything you need to know and be able to adjust anything you need to for the outcome you desire.

@44Blues welcome back to the EVO family haven't seen you in a while, how have you been? tell us your long story please.
we would like to know more about your Test and anavar and possible blast plans.

If you're on 100mg Test Cyp a week, your total test should fall somewhere around 500–700 ng/dL depending on how your body handles it and when you get your blood drawn. Adding Anavar at 40mg a day won’t spike your total testosterone since it doesn’t aromatize or convert to estrogen. It also doesn’t directly raise test levels on labs, so it shouldn’t raise any red flags.
In fact, It might actually lower your natural production a bit, but since you're already on TRT, that doesn't matter. The main thing to keep an eye on is your liver enzymes and lipids, since Anavar can mess with those. Otherwise, it’s one of the cleaner orals and unlikely to mess up your follow-up bloods if you’re keeping it quiet.

anavar won't show up in bloodwork as testosterone
other steroids can/will. the testosterone derivatives like EQ, nandrolones and even dbol can show up
but the var will throw off other numbers

But just come off ahead of the blood work you do with your doctor,

@44Blues anavar will for sure cause your liver and possibly kidney numbers to be off
so a good doc will mention that to you
i would come off 2-3 weeks before bloods

well its a steroid so of course it will effect bloods
to what extent it depends on how much you use and how long

100% agree. Anything PEDs bloods first and seek help from experienced users/coaches. Even if everything is in Range sometimes does not mean its right. I know a lot of people whose B12 and D3 are exactly on the baseline and they think its good enough.

No brother, I got on TRT just a few months ago and still learning about PEDs and my knowledge on them is limited. But I have been gymming and active since 20+ years. Want to do a cycle after 2 months as currently my hands are a bit tied up. Also trying to recover from tendonitis with BPC/TB/low dose var & GH.

Anything u put in will negatively effect bloods and doctor will notice qnd lwowr your dose unless u tell him what u did lol
