My goal is to break a USPA National Record in powerlifting for Deadlift, which essentially is World Record!! Which currently is 391lbs for the 60kg my age 55-59yo.m Along with a stronger squat and bench and total. Ellen Stein, powerlifter, is currently 71 years old she still holds squat record for this age/wt from 2011! She’s still lifting today!! Safe to say I want to be like Ellen Stein when I’m 71!! Stronger with age!!

I’m working to get down a few weight classes! Was at 72kg/158lbs in my 40s. Now shooting for 60kg/132lbs. I have been doing pretty well at building back strength since COVID dropping my weight from 172lbs in July 2023 to current wt of 142lbs. And keeping strength.
My comp bests were at 72kg/158lbs natural tested
Squat : 125kg/275lb
Bench : 80kg/176lb
Deadlift: 175kg/385lbs
I’m pretty certain my bench has surpassed this total with current work I’ve put in. Working on my squat and deadlift after my current cut.
I’m currently on Female HRT estrogen / progesterone replacement prescribed by my OBGYN Dr. Cannot get Doctor brave enough to get prescribed Testosterone as a female. So my husband & I started myself on TRT, testosterone cypionate 10mg a week which has made a load of positive differences for me as a menopausal woman.
The last year I’ve been on maintenance: PSL
TRT -Test Cyp 10 mg current
HGH - 2iu daily 5/2 split
Since mid-July I’ve also been on a cutting cycle consisting of
Test cyp 12.5mg/ weekly
NPP 12.5mg/ Weekly 12-16weeks
HGH 1.5iu daily 5/2 split
Semaglutide titrated from .25mg-1mg weekly
Currently still on
Semaglutide at 1mg working to get to 132lbs.
I’ve been on a relatively clean diet calorie deficit of about 1500calories a day. 125gm protein 125gm carbs 50gm fat! I will cycle my calories up and down a bit based on my training. I do a 4 Day workout legs, chest/triceps, back/biceps, shoulders/arms. Ends up I train 3 days a week, with my job I have 2 days on 2 days off and every other weekend off. So it takes about 8-9 days to get through the 4 day routine. This gives maximum recovery.
Taking HGH I feel has made a huge difference in my recovery. Semaglutide significant with diet hunger issues.
Looking forward to another strength cycle in February which I would like to include Anavar maybe Primo. Will run a cycle of 12-16 weeks again for this. I will change from focusing on upper body chest/shoulders, to focusing on squat and deadlift strength.

Was happy with my deadlifts today. 💪 I had not been able to get 335lbs conventional on 11/22 and I’ve been off the NPP about 6 weeks
Just pissed there was wrong bar on my rack!! I had to go upstairs to benches try to find a fucking bar & carry that shit down stairs! On my 335 attempt no wrist wraps, that fucking bar started to roll out of my hands right off the floor cuz it’s bent!! I got it off the floor it was gonna go! I’m like shit is my grip just that weak?? Didn’t realize it was bent as bad as it was. Makes me angry can’t train like I want yo due to equipment a bar such a cheap thing to replace too!!! So I wanted to re attempt it rolled bar where needed it. Used my straps for it!! Was happy ending! close grip bench tomorrow! 💪🌸

Fun day at gym! Was plan to do 5lbs 175 but Ive done thst before in past. so was gonna go for 180 & said F#*%! That put on a quarter lets go for 185lbs. It went up nicely. Was pretty excited! Mr pushed me. I said why expend energy on 180 let’s go for 185!! So I did it PR not once but twice !! 💪💪🎉 smashed it! Been loving Bench. Feel good, wrist wraps, elbow sleeves, belt. But body feels good. I like tapers they’re fun!! Ok have a great weekend everyone. Finish that Christmas shopping and happy lifting 💪🌸🎁🎄

sumo deadlift is amazing.

you won't go wrong with that style.
 
Hopefully, you can put up some pictures and videos.
Help some of the other women and guys on here with their form.
 
It's very rare to see people doing correct form, especially on the compound lifts.

People sacrifice form too much in my opinion.

Appreciate y’all’s support and kind words!! 🥰 I do Gotta work harder on my deads and squats. Gotta strengthen my legs n glutes. My form has taken a hit and it’s cuz my biggest “ass”et has gotten weak! And it’s a big ass. July 2023 was at 170lbs so year & 5months 31lbs! I’d like to say I’ve built & kept a good amount of strength through it all. Still a lot of work to be done! So Happy Lifting!💪🌸

I agree with you. Sometimes you're having so much fun that you decide to do something more.
That’s what makes powerlifting so much fun!! Got numbers to work towards & strong body, focus isnt just the mirror! Which is why I like it! Body image isn’t the only thing! Being strong healthy! Shedding the fat is encouraging too and seeing the muscles pop out! 😉💪🌸

So was planning on trying to try for 170-175lb squats but I got to 185 warm up did one was good to go said in my head repeat, came down and didn’t bounce out good it didn’t go I was not in my knee sleeves or anything belt on loose. Just stayed down hit the safety bars. Supposed to be a triple! That’s a normal warmup. Not sure what the hell that was all about!! Mr RR was like I guess you’re done!! I said screw that I’m pulling up my knee sleeves and tightening my belt do it again. I was not about to let it defeat me! So I did that! Rested did a quick single and just went up singles to 265. Still did not have 270+ in me. But next cycle I’ll be getting shit up!! Ok tomorrow is Mr RR Birthday 🥳 so we Bench!! 💪 Will see how it goes. Might attempt 175! Coming off an epic close grip 185! Ok everybody Enjoy your Christmas with your families or however you celebrate! 💪🌸🙏🏻🎄🎅🏼

True. I hate when people dont use safety’s. I usually have a spotter! Mr RR spots me on squats. But 185 is like an easy wt. I have a spot at 225 usually. So… still it like a one off maybe. Thx for your support @s.gentz

I Think i said it was my last week of Semaglutide. Long term to me was 5 months. I will see how it goes w/o maybe entertain a smaller dose. I want my body to try get used to this being its normal weight. Fasting isn’t great for strength training. So no fasting.

sista you only 5'2? dayum you tiny. would be a light snack for my wife. she is 6'3'' and 380 pounds. could throw you far into gravel pit.

Yes, but I like following a plan that I know works. Sometimes you gotta tweak as you go. Cuz sometimes the body isn’t gonna get it done. So gotta work smart too. Listen to your body. If you change up stuff too much you don’t get the results or you don’t know what’s gonna work or not if you don’t Follow through.

Had good close grip bench today. Was able to crank out 80% of 1RM for 5x5 even did some pause reps on my last set. Will do same weight 5 sets next week and increase the reps. So 2 weeks sane wt. Then increase weight for 2 weeks. Gonna follow this type cycling for now. Do reps on the rest of my sets. Gonna stick with my current diet. Watch amount of carbs as the Semaglutide works out of system. Keeping my meals small frequent. Focus on protein/veg! Have a good weekend. Happy Lifting! 💪🌸

Today was a long grueling leg day. Lots of volume. Did less weight going for 5x5 squats. I struggled a little with 1set @215lbs. Dropped 10lbs to 205lbs it moved Better. Little disappointed though that it felt difficult. Remind myself the being off the extra PEDs and the weight loss combo and having just done a taper, likely gonna feel a bit weaker. Losing weight bodyfat and you lose muscle also. It’s inevitable! But I’ve been working really hard to not lose the strength and the hard earned muscle.! So just gotta accept the reality. I see how you guys (men) get so attached to your PEDS and want you stay on them. Cuz the strength factor is so real and powerful. So hopefully this next cycle really pushes me towards my goals. Lol. Working on speed out of the hole for squats. Plan on doing 2 weeks at this weight before increasing the working set weight on Deads. Shoulders and arms tomorrow. Everybody have a good weekend. Arms & shoulders feel pretty good. I think the 2iu HGH is been nice for recovery steady with 10mg TRT. Body weight is sideways right now. My resting heart rate is going down I think this is a result of stopping Semaglutide. Had been up to 72-73. Creeping down 70 now. Should stop into 60s. That’s good. Rest day tomorrow. Might go in swim few laps and hot tub. Mr RR was a swimmer and been trying to get him to include a 1-2 days a week swim few laps. He burns calories like crazy when he swims. He was an all American swimmer In School. Me on other hand sucks in the pool. I Fight that water! But burns calories just really hard for me to do for any length of time. Ok happy lifting 💪🌸

Yes there’s a 4 lane lap pool. Hot tub sauna we rarely use. Cuz ready to go eat. Takes extra time to change to a suit swim and shower change out of suit. But would be good to try add it once a week. 🤷‍♀️

Not professional but was collegiate breaststroke was his best stroke. No trucker action was a commercial fisherman in AK!! 💪

So far I’m encouraged. Joints tendons feeling fair. Just urning to get back to my best strengths again since my mid-late 40s. So here we go. We fell asleep on the couch didn’t make it into the gym to swim or hot tub! Lol 🤷‍♀️😵 sure sounded good though didn’t it. Hopefully our little apartment cabana gym with hot tub/ office opens when it’s supposed to cuz it’s been under construction since October they said be 4 months!!! I’m hopeful they fix the hot tub to actually have functional jets but I’m not holding my breath.

Hopefully our little apartment cabana gym with hot tub/ office opens when it’s supposed to cuz it’s been under construction since October they said be 4 months!!! I’m hopeful they fix the hot tub to actually have functional jets but I’m not holding my breath.

I was happy with todays WO. Felt stronger this week than last week for squats. 5x5s Better speed and ease IMO!! Mr.RR stilll wants more speed out of the hole. Did pause squats on back day that should help. Continuing with glutes and abduction adductor work. Have a good week of gains all. 💪🌸

Well it was a day of rest. Otherwise be 4 days in a row at gym. On my days I work we do t workout so it’s not a real day of rest for me. Only everyother weekend i get this one Sunday off from work and the gym. We were gonna go in just to hot tub but May as well do Laps if we had gone in. So. No missing the gym really. 😊
