Approved Log TRTdaddy - TRT+ Cycle log Jan to March 2024

just putting myself out there for a little log for my current mini "blast/cut" that I've got going on and a little about me

notoriously consistent low test for the last 10yrs (280/8 was before starting) - had kids, had enough, got a script March last year for TRT and don't think I'll ever look back.

Started 2023 at 119.7kg, finished the year at 99.4kg (6ft3)
(I never got a pic at 119, but did the day I started TRT in March at about 112kg -- other 3 pics are recent)

Jan to March was a hard natty diet and working out after a very long gym break, began TRT at 100mg a week.
Rode that until September and upped to 150mg a week and felt great (definitely my sweet spot). October through to now has been 250mg a week while still slow cutting, I'm monitoring what I'm eating but not fully tracking. I know I'm under 2000 and as much protein as I can. I'm seeing results and just works best for me.

Some people won't agree with how I'm doing it but my bloods are spot on and I feel great this way.

Steroids were always in my vision at some point in my life so it's also something I've been growing my knowledge about for some time.

Starting this week, I've incorporated 100mg/wk Primo and 20mg/day Anavar. I wanted to keep these 2 relatively low as it's my first time adding additional compounds and want to see how I respond to them. Money isn't an issue so I don't care too much about not getting a full fast suite of results -- I'm on for life so I'll take my time if need be.

I'm going to run this stack until March as that'll be my "one year TRT" kinda thing and will work out to be about 7wks of the Var and 10wks of the primo (i'll probably continue the Primo but from another source as I'm pretty sure mines been blended with mast) - I'm basically going to cut to about 90kg and then see where I'm at, still have a lot of lower belly fat that's just hanging on for dear life so I'll just keep the slow cut happening until I'm happy enough to start a bulk.

If anyone's keen to just follow along a regular dad doing it, then come along, would be happy to have some additional support for when I cbf going to the gym haha

(my tattoos are pretty damn hard to cover and easy to identify anyway, so i'll make the small effort to block my face out lol)

We are not here to agree or disagree with you, we are here to be your support team and family.

Diet, can you put up your meals foods and when you eat them.
Training, training exercises reps sets weights.
If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.

Some food pics and training pics would be great and some training vids if you can.
how about some gear pics for us too.

yeah of course mate.

food for the most part is pretty solid - (without giving too much away) i'm thankful that I get a lot of my meat for free so a good portion of what I cook, I don't have to pay for haha

A general day is;
Breakfast; 4 eggs with about 30g of carbs (either rice or grain wrap) and salsa
Lunch - 200-300g beef or chicken and a cup of rice with some avo or PB and some bbq sauce or salsa
PWO - sandwich thin/wrap with PB & popcorn snacking throughout the day
Dinner; usually just fills out whatever cals I have left but always aim to have 200g of chicken or beef

training is ok, I'm finally at a place where I'm enjoying lifting heavier.
I've been following a 3-4set 5-6rep heavy style lately and it seems to be working for me and mostly consists of;

chest;
close grip incline bench 80kg
dumbbell incline 40kg
iso plate press 3plates

back;
i have a shitty slipped disc that goes like the drop of a hat so i steer clear of deads
bent over rows 70kg
seated rows 100kg

legs;
same thing with back, and extra strain and i'm out for 2wks
hack squat 110kg
leg press 240kg

arms;
ez curls 45kg
dumbbell curls 22.5kg

shoulders;
seated dumbbell press 35kg
OHP 60kg

if people want it, would be happy to document some training videos, not the busiest gym so filming some training wouldn't be too hard.

so far so good on this I like your chest workout and your back workout
legs and arms also looking good make sure you update us
 
Make sure you get pictures of the food and the meat that you're getting
that is going to be very important for us to take a look at that
 
you went from chubby guy to lean to muscular good job
now from here we need to take you to the next level

primo needs to be 500-600mgs minimum
 
so you're doing different body parts in the same workout?
Why not do any split routines
i usually try and keep it pretty separate but sometimes I don't have the best time schedule to hit what I need to in one workout so I might do biceps in the morning, then go back for tris in the afternoon.

at the moment I'm trying to focus on one group (or as close to one group) as I can per workout

Different variations for different people, those are minimum as guidelines but I did excellent on 400mg primo my log showed it, the beauty of different people is we all react and respond different.

yeah exactly. I’ve had mates do fine on 100-200mg.

Plus I want the long term, not just a quick thing. Happy to go lower for longer if the benefits are there for me
