Between school drop offs and practically full time work i was trying to get to the gym whenever i could but really hadnt been fueling my body or had a very good plan in place at the slightest

This is when a friend recommended me to @R.AP who has dialed me up a nutrition plan, training schedule and all my supplementation . So lets see if we can get rid of the mum tum soon.

Current weight: 67.7kg
Goal weight: 60kg

Training Split:

@PhyscItsAdhd you’re going to do great! You’re not far off at all! I was recently reminded of my mom working out every single day when I was a boy. And when my kids were little they saw me do the same thing. Now they’re grown and they never miss the gym, they are more consistent than I am and their discipline carries from the gym to their work and home lives. I’m very happy to see you do this! 💪

Welcome to the team sis! <3

I've been a bit behind on the teams logs with prep and peak week for competition but I WILL be following your journey here as well.

A little more background on myself. After having my youngest bundle of joy, i weighed in at a staggering 98kg. Was unable to shift any weight until April 2025. Now im hoping to gain more muscle and tone whilst trying to drop those last few extra kg.

Just a little update on life the last week:

First back workout under @R.AP and i managed to screw it up! Mind you in the warm up aswell! Completed 160 reps of YTW’s apposed to the 60 i was meant to do 🤦🏼‍♀️. Wont be falling for that mistake again.

Had a delivery from @TheAsylum with a few extra goodies on board! (Not in the photo)

Diet this week has been pretty good, consisting of a banana shake with chocolate for breakfast. Which in turn caused arguments with the kids about chocolate being suitable option for breakfast.
Turkey and rice for lunch.
Followed by spag bol for dinner.
Pre workout cards - banana
And a daily protein treat of yogurt, raspberries and protein.

Sister, that's crazy, 98 kg, well over 200 lb. I think that's some big weight for a female. That's good that you got yourself in good shape. @PhyscItsAdhd

Turkey, rice, and asparagus is really good stuff. You'll get good results running those three on a diet. Pretty easy to make, and they taste good. @PhyscItsAdhd

Sister, hell yeah, those are good meals you put together there. I'm jealous you are eating like a champion. @PhyscItsAdhd

Update time on life the last week or so.

@R.APs workouts are absolutely destroying me! (In a positive way). Warm ups are even feeling like a full blown workout! Certainly feeling the burn trying to sit on the toilet these days.

Diet over the last week has been pretty shitty, as i was away with no cooking facilities available. Pretty slack week in the gym aswell as facilities weren’t easily accessible whilst i was away. Now back into it will full force, drive and commitment.

@TheAsylum, your reta is some magical stuff! Even though it was a shocking week for myself, my weight is now 64.8kg as of this morning. Starting to see a difference in the body aswell.

Serious question ladies:
How do you work around being too small for certain machines? Had to do some improvising this week see attached photo. 😅

Good to see products working well !

Sometimes life throws curve balls and it’s not always about stopping it’s about the picking yourself back up again and having another crack !

As far as being to short for machines my advice is grow taller 🤣 nah but seriously get some videos and shoot them over to Rap he will sort it out for you

Hard workouts is where growth happens 😎

Keeps slaying it mate, awesome stuff 🔥🔥

Great start to your log sister I'm really excited to have you aboard, we need more enthusiastic moms on here looking to improve themselves be it physically or mentally (or both).

I have zero worries now that I've read you're with @R.AP he is a top notch coach and you're in good hands! I'll be following along and I love your honesty in your log with both what you feel is the good and the bad.

Now im hoping to gain more muscle and tone whilst trying to drop those last few extra kg.
You are in the right place and we have your back the whole way just stick with us and stay in the EVO family and you 100% will succeed.

Looking forward to following along!

Would be good to see some typical workouts.

Far out! Mum life and work have had me turning grey and ripping my hair out over the last fortnight.

Been absolutely smashing the gym. Even managing to forget to log some of my workouts for @R.AP or do my weekly check in last weekend.

Loving the banana protein drinks of a morning! Absolute favourite on the meal plan! 😅 Starting to wake at silly o’clock craving one, but remembering its not ideal to have a blender going in the house at 3 am with a 1year old.

Chicken burgers and wraps absolutely slap!

Must admit, i have never complained so much in my life from being so sore after the gym. I couldn’t walk properly for 3 days after tackling this glute workout last week.

Haha yesss EVO sister you and @R.AP have got a good thing going for you here! Those hyperextensions are great for your lower back and core, great work.

Haha but you love it! :p

For those who have been following along with my little journey. I finally managed to find some photos from back when i was 98kg 🤦🏼‍♀️.

It’s been a rollercoaster few weeks. From travelling, sick kiddos and work i thought i was losing myself.

Food: sticking to @R.AP meal plans has been pretty easy when the food tastes as good as it does. Whilst away last week, i wasn’t able to stick to the meal plan exactly but instead making those conscious decisions as to what to eat oppose to the easy Maccas.

Banana smoothie is still my favourite meal of the day. But i must say the spag bol slaps!

Training: training was hit and miss for a few weeks with injuries taking over. From a rolled ankle to sleeping like a spastic and not being able to move my shoulder properly. Gym is back in full swing!

We have now introduced 30 mins of cardio every gym session with a heart rate above 140bpm. I now remember why i hate cardio! Which is surprising considering i would complete at state level throughout high school.

Peps: my needle phobia hasn’t gotten any better. Still have a dear friend of mine doing my injections for me daily. Im not sure if i will ever get over this bad boy.

@TheAsylum reta has reduced all food noise! I cut back to 1mg for a week as i struggled to eat at all. The smell of food had me dying. Now back up to 2mg

Ghkcu has me glowing better than ever.

Mots-c definately has made cardio easier a lot more energetic, actually keen to get into the cardio side of things.

Starting to get my teeny little back muscles. Ignore the pose my arms and back were so sore.

Awesome log update sister. You are really working hard at this and you should be super proud of the progress you have made.
Pins take time to adjust to, don't rush or worry about this at all.
Doing fantastically well sister, keep rockin' on 🩵

Welcome back @PhyscItsAdhd! Great to see this update and amazing transformation pics.

Glad you found yourself again after a few tough weeks and great to have you back. Has your friend always done all your injections or have you ever done one yourself? I wonder if you were able to do even one if it would help you see it's doable. Just a thought, otherwise that's a great friend I'm glad you have her to help out.

What dose are you running and is it every day?

Gym is back in full swing!
I'm hoping the shoulder hopes up have you looked into BPC-157 and TB500?

Spag bol is definitely a GOAT meal hey!

Massive progress honestly, pushing through injuries, travel and life stress while still showing up is impressive! Physique tightening up hard and the back development is showing 🔥

Finally decided to get myself organised and get a weekly tablet organiser! This has been a savour opposed to opening 7 different bottles a day.

@R.AP coming up with more goodies! Burrito/taco bowls have been added to the meal plan. Pretty keen to see how these go! Pic update of the burrito bowls to follow.

Weight is still dropping down to 63.9kg as of this morning.

Added a photo of measurements taken on Thursday aswell.

Haven’t made it to the gym much this week, but been very active outside the gym. From moving firewood and furniture to football training with the older kiddos and constantly chasing the 2 year old.

Also been chatting with @TheAsylum regarding DSIP, as my sleep is absolutely shot!

Needing tips on upping water intake. Struggling to consume water, averaging 1-1.5ltrs a day.

Good call on the tablet organiser they can be a God send.
Gym will come when things settle and you get a rhythm going. Takes time for that to happen.
My only tip is carry a water bottle with you at all times. You will constantly sip at it and increase your intake. 🩵

For water intake, Sometimes I’ll set hourly alarms on my phone. Everytime it goes off I’ll chug a full water bottle or a glass of water if I’m at home. I suck at drinking tons of water but this helps me a ton

Nice work staying active! Moving furniture, firewood, football training, and chasing kids definitely counts. The scale is reflecting all that extra activity. 💪

For water, I use a 2L bottle with time markers and positive reminders on the side. Also Adding flavoured electrolytes makes it much easier to get through and stay on track throughout the day💧🔥

So stoked that the Burrito bowls are a win! I've just introduced the DSIP myself to help improve what sleep I can get (determined entirely by our one year old - poor bub is teething), and it's provided a noticeable improvement. Dreams are WILD though!

I don’t even know where to start this week. What a rollercoaster ride and a shit show it has been! Small successes and achievements have kept me going this week.

I have managed to get sleeping like shit down pat. Averaging around 5-6 hours a night of broken sleep.

Gym sessions have been a killer. Feeling majorly fatigued and weak. Struggling to finish a full gym session and lacking motivation at the moment. Lacking strength to even get some machines to move.

Loving the glute as well as the back workout as of late. Struggling to find a pre workout that isn’t giving me gas (burps). I’ve also found Im struggling to get a decent pump.

Weight is currently sitting around the 62/63kg mark.

Only have the weights if I'm logging the workout for the day. Also embarrassed to post what i am lifting as i am super weak at the moment due to a calorie deficit.

I do run mots-c. Creatine i have tried in the past and it actually makes me feel super seedy unfortunately.

Gym and or life?
A bit of both unfortunately. Sick kids, car issues, broken gym equipment, missing gym equipment as arrivals of new machines were delays and feeling like I’m not doing exercises properly. Its just been chaotic and a rollercoaster ride.

Rough week sister. Hopefully this week will a much better one for you. Nice that you kept pushing in the gym and the weights are irrelevant at the moment. Just try to keep the routine of turning up going. And if you think what you are doing is technically wrong, just google the exercise. You are doing extremely well considering the challenges you face. Keep the faith sister 🩵

@PhyscItsAdhd the sleep has to be fixed. that is the best solution here. its tough with our lifestyles because most of us work hard and play hard

Any tips on rectifying it?

I have been prescribed sleeping tablets in the past which didn’t help, just made me drowsy for 18 hours of the day and felt like i was hit by a train.

In talks with @TheAsylum regarding Dsip.

Ive tried mediation and all sorts of different noises eg, white, green, rain, thunderstorms, crashing waves etc with no success.

Melatonin hasn’t assisted by any means at all either.

If you have any suggestions, please throw them my way.

Good to hear from you. Sometimes life can be a roller coaster, as you described. It's good that you're able to vent and share that on here. You've been heard. @PhyscItsAdhd

Five to six hours of broken sleep is not good. @PhyscItsAdhd hopefully you can get that fixed. It's never going to allow you to recover properly.

get blue blocker glasses and wear them as soon as the sun sets. but make sure they are legit there are lot of fake ones out there. you can google "testing blue blocker glasses" and see color charts to confirm it is blocking the blue light.

also look at any food/drinks that you are taking that have caffeine and get rid of them.

DSIP is worth a try although it mostly helps sleep quality, but not sleep itself.

make sure your room has 0 electronics.

if you have an alarm clock face it away from you and do not look at it.

check out this article i wrote on sleep help. https://www.evolutionary.org/sleeping-problems-and-insomnia/

A bit of both unfortunately. Sick kids, car issues, broken gym equipment, missing gym equipment as arrivals of new machines were delays and feeling like I’m not doing exercises properly. Its just been chaotic and a rollercoaster ride.
@PhyscItsAdhd its good to get this off your chest and vent. bad weeks are part of life. the good news is next week will be better :)

@physcltsadhd killer update man! You’re really killing it

Ive only had sleep issues for probably the last 14 months - broken sleep but the last 10 years of nightmares/night terrors.
Sister, what happened to cause the 14 months? Any changes to diet or PEDs you are taking, or maybe something you are drinking or eating?

Some times it’s the smallest achievements that make the day better. From the physical changes to the visual. Seeing the difference and reading the difference. Every little step is a step closer to the dream and the goals. Not standing for an excuse anymore.

Having a gym that is kid friendly makes it so much easier for working mums. The kids always have a blast and make new friends.

Smoothies are still my favourite with the burrito bowls being a close second.

I must admit, i don’t lift anywhere near everyone else on evo. I roll with the motto of small and mighty.

Been using the anabolix ripped preworkout partnered with the anabolix creatine.

Great sentiment and analogy sister.
Kid friendly gyms used to be huge but they are rare as these day. 🩵

Not amount your lifting, it how you lift it

Attempted to do a workout at a world gym the other day in the city. There were more people in the gym than in the whole of home town! Never felt so uncomfortable in my life.

Haven't managed to make it to the gym much this week. But i have moved a whole house through out the week instead and smashed football with the kids.

Hoping to get back into routine in the coming week.

Diet has been on point though with no deviations.

Nice update sister. Keep plugging away at things, routine will come if you keep trying to get there 🩵

can you do home training sister? :D @PhyscItsAdhd

Today’s workout took 3 attempts to get to the gym. Firstly forgot the ball of my shaker and headphones. Followed by my shoes. Followed by my towel. Safe to say i wasnt meant to gym today. But i preserved and smashed it out anyway.

Nicely done sister. That is absolutely grinding out a session under adverse circumstances 🤣🩵

Great job actually sticking to your guns and doing the workout after the hiccups hahaha.
Just a thought and I am in no way telling you to change your workout if it is working for you. But if I was consistently getting to the higher reps of 10-12 for every set of an exercise. I would be upping the weight slightly next time. Make it hard and if you fail at 8 or 9 reps great! Keep going until the reps are adding up again.

I have upped the weights previously. For some reason when i find the weights are upped my target muscles aren’t engaged aswell. Others step in to compensate the weight.

A few workouts from the last couple of days and a few small achievements during the workout.

The one some that i feel most empowered by at the moment is “The Climb” sung by Bailey Zimmerman. It just hits differently.

Slowly building the confidence to start recording and taking photos in the gym for coach.

@TheAsylum has my skin on point and keeping me stocked in the peps department.
