Hey guys
So I thought I would try something new yesterday to keep things interesting, and I tried Sumo Deadlifts.
Due to my lower back issues (ankylosing spondylitis and disk buldge L4/L5) I’ve been doing trap bar dead’s, because it takes the pressure off my lower back.
Someone at gym suggested Sumo Dead’s so I got one of the PT’s to show me how to do them correctly and I loved it! Wow my legs and my butt are really feeling it today tho haha. (But I also did 200kg paused leg press’s ouch)
I’m excited to see how strong I can get with them now.
I only did 40kg for 10 reps 4 sets, just to get the feeling for the new movements and I get low blood pressure so I was getting a little dizzy, but yeah, was cool to learn a new movement and I’m keen to set new PB on it
