Hi all

Start of my new log. Dosages will be more mild. Very excited to run with the OG ugloz.

Test E (250mg/wk)
HGH (3iu/ED)
Proviron (25mg/ED)

Goal is to drastically lean out with a focus on higher rep training and reduced caloric intake.
What is your oestrogen/ai process at these dosages?

He has Aromasin on hand if needed, but he'll be getting bloods done to see how he's managing at this dose and will adjust as necessary to get things dialled in.

Thanks, i’m just trying to suss out my own self trt and checking out others numbers and what they are doing.
Some people on TRT prefer having their E2 run in the higher end as long as they’re not experiencing any negative sides, mostly to tap into the improved mood and libido benefits. If you're experiencing sides and are looking for ways to get it under control, then you'll either need to lower your dose or implement some form of estrogen control. In saying that, if your primary use of testosterone is solely for TRT purposes, then the use of an AI is not recommended as they also come with their own nasty side effects and prolonged use of them will only lead to problems further down the track. There are other approaches you can take - ie: the use of primo or EQ are effective ways of managing e2 - but then you aren't really on TRT anymore :P

If you look around the logs here, you'll find that TRT doses are going to vary a quite bit between people - some might not be able to run doses higher than 125mg/wk while others can run doses as high as 250mg/wk. Multiple factors will come into play but those more commonly prone to elevated e2 (and the sides that come with it) are those with a higher bf% as fat tissue contains the aromatase enzyme - this is what converts the testosterone into estrogen through a process known as aromatisation.

In any case, steer clear from an AI and focus on getting the right dose dialled in. If you're on TRT then I assume you're planning to be on it for the rest of your life and you really don't want to be putting more things into your body than you need to be. Lower your dose until you find what works and you'll be fine :)

Thanks so much for the advice
And yeah, next step is lowering from 125mg to 100mg , at 125 mg testosterone was above normal ranges but oestrogen got to 240 pmol (<100) only sides are possible pointy nips and maybe some random fatigue, but nothing the affects work/gym performance etc. I’m fairly lean so not sure why i have the high oestrogen.
And as you said i would like to steer clear of adding more and more chemicals to the body, at 44 i’m looking to establish a long term, sustainable protocol.

Your e2 is higher than I'd expect for 125mg/wk. I have a few questions but I don't want to hijack @Robules's thread any further! I'll head on over to yours and have a read brother.

💯💯💯 AJ, well said. If you're on trt, it's generally for life.. and you do not want to rely on needing an AI, they are quite toxic. Adjust your dosage and frequency accordingly and work on leaning out to get them e2 numbers down. 125mg a week got my e2 at 163 with free test at 703.. slightly elevated but I feel good at these levels.
