"Dadbod" to Roman God! My TRT+ Journey

| 6th to 12th Jan 2025 | Life, Cycle & Workout Update |

LIFE UPDATE - LIFE & GYM
Evo Family, I don't have a gym membership atm and have no intention of getting one for the foreseeable future. But great news is that I have some equipment on the way, the new place has a room that will become our gym. This has made workouts pretty basic as I have very few items atm.

What do I have:
15 Rubber Mats
Dumbbells to 12.5kg
EZ Bar (10kg)
5kg plates
10kg plates
15kg plates

What is coming:

What other equipment would be needed in your opinion? Straight Bar obviously!

CYCLE UPDATE - LOGGING
@ez2plz | Vendor: House of Gains - Product: BiopoweRNA Test Depot & Primron
@Sydneycitysupplements | Vendor: Sydney City Supplements - Product: Pharmatides Aust. NPP & Anavar

I've recently added SCS's NPP, a new AAS for me, at 100mg per week, administered EOD (every other day). I'm administering NPP using a 29-gauge needle into the delts. It was slow to draw up, but that's expected since I'm using the smallest needle possible, and all oils tend to be slow to draw up. Administered with no issues, starting next week I think I will add this to the Primo/Test vile that I make up every 2 weeks.
I believe I've started to feel joint pain relief, just not in the back or hips, but it's still early days.
Right knee pain at full flexion under weight, so squats are ok and have minimal pain approaching the bottom of the movement, while pushing back up it is painful to start, but pain stops pretty quick.

BiopoweRNA Test Depot 250mg/ml @ 300mg per week
BiopoweRNA Primoron 200mg/ml @ 300mg per week
Pharmatides Aust. NPP 100mg/ml @ 100mg per week

BiopoweRNA Acirca (Tadalafil) 20mg Tabs @ 5mg per day
Pharmatides Aust. Anavar 50mg Tabs @ 25mg Pre Workout - Might move up on this!

WORKOUT UPDATE—WORKOUT

Longevity Workout: As above no gym atm, so been doing walks, sprints, and swims with the dogs fasted every morning. These are usually 20 to 30 minutes of activity and 10 minutes warm up/down each. Super casual but done each morning of the week except the weekends, where we just walk the beach and play fetch with the dogs.

This morning running into the water at the beach, until I tweaked a hamstring and crashed into the water! I'm limping, but it feels ok, so let's just give it some rest. So no swimming till that hammie feels better, I just walked it off with the dogs along the beach.

Full disclosure, these products were paid for in full, I'm not sponsored and not interested in freebies, my goal is to improve myself while also offering the community an open honest review of the products I use with bloods. I've got no affiliations with any vendors, no alt accounts.
@juddy solid work here!

I’ve been looking for workout and meal prep videos this week, mostly using the audio as background while I work or handle tasks at the office.

Recently, I’ve developed a bit of a dislike for Mike Isratel. While it’s not as strong as my feelings toward Greg Doucette lately, there’s an arrogance to his approach that comes off as annoying.

At the moment, I’m trying to find “body doubling” content or full free-weight workouts I can follow along with while I wait to expand my equipment setup.

I’ve come across Chris Heria’s videos, and while his content looks promising, it seems more focused on calisthenics. I could be wrong since I’ve only seen a handful of his videos so far.

Suggestions?

@stevesmi @Mobster I've been smashing your podcasts recently between YouTube and Spotify. Thanks for the great content.

@juddy best is not to overthink training, in your situation cardio will be key and more of it. :D

I used to find Jeremy Either easy to listen to, has a masters in kinesiology also so he does have an educated idea. I don’t follow much on YouTube these days so sorry I can’t help with many suggestions.

Thanks for enjoying the podcast

I would suggest reading the logs on here. There are some excellent meal and training info.

Ty,

The topics vary and you two seem to play off eachother well, good listening.

I've been looking at a few, but get distracted too easily. Will keep looking.

Yeah, I hear ya. Thanks! I really do know that I need to loose weight, I definitely find running is out if the question due to back injuries so have maintain my morning cardio as walking, at pace tring to keep my heart rate up above 110 and below 130bpm.

Diet is likely where I'm failing too, I'm not being strict enough and honestly this week have not been able to stop eating, NPP?

walking up an incline on a treadmill is what you want to do, the easiest way. :D

On the food, if you can't control your cravings or appetite, consider using a GLP-1 peptide like semaglutide.

I can see eggs but rest of meal hard to understand, please tell us. :D
Have some Semaglutide on order and I'll add it back to the mix once here

Brekky today was a super simple meal, taking a non-stick small pie dish. I placed a single slice of ham down into the pie dish, cracked an egg, salt pepper to taste. Then I diced some portabello mushroom and cherry tomatoes on top of the egg and a small topping of Romano cheese grated over the cold dish. Then placed this into the air fryer for 20 minutes.

Once cooked I added a little BBQ sauce, taking care not to add too much. An after though is baby spinach would have worked too

I also had some baked beans with this as I was still hungry.

Both those two named are pretty much just working the algorithms. They both started out with solid content but quickly realized what they posted then got less views. So now it's just whatever 'sells'.

On training. I do what needs to be done. I've NEVER needed to find a special program for 'ideas'. Say I wanted better delts I'd see what the best for great delts is and do that. Ditto anything else. Plus we have done a few training talk shows so check them out

thats a nice breakfast :D very high protein

Yesterday, I hit a milestone: EZ curl at 45kg (100lb) for reps!

I had been eyeing these two 15kg plates, and the idea of them on the EZ Bar had me feeling a bit nervous or silly. The bar itself is 15kg, and with the plates, the total is 45kg—over half my body weight.

Pump was great, ego was massive, sense of achievement was overwhelming.

Nice EZ curl you get the pump in, and how about some cardio with it? @juddy
