Legs are f’d!!! Cardio was a struggle. Felt really strong during the WO though.
Could have pushed more I think but following the prescribed progressions
after that 9 sets you were completely F***d? no squats? maybe I missed the intensity ;) @s.gentz

I did rdl and squat Tuesday. I split it up so I can go harder both days. One leg day is tough to get though everything with intensity.
Yep, nine sets did it. Legs had an insane pump. I did do wu on everything but the glutes. First few minutes of treadmill were bad!!!

Everything felt easy today. Was sweating like crazy for some reason. Way more than usual.
Dropped a ladder on my foot yesterday and the big toe is all sorts of colors. I can move it so i got that going for me but still hurts pretty bad.

I’m not using it regularly. But today I did. Prob why I was sweating so much.
I was cleaning the leaves out of the gutters on my barn and the extension ladder slipped out of my hand and came down directly on my foot. Mostly my big toe. Is really uncomfortable. I’m able to move it today so doubt it’s broken. We will see tomorrow. Wife snapped a couple photos today

have you done like ice on it? massage around (not on top) make sure you dont let it go too much

I had ice yesterday. It’s actually much better today.
Hopefully even better in the morning. Swelling is mostly gone. Just very colorful and tender.

i would stay off any leg work for at least 1 week to be sure and no cardio, safe from injury

We will see how it goes. It actually feels much better this morning. Pretty confident that;s its nothing more than bad bruising. Either way if I do any legs this week i'll push it to end of the week and just do 1 leg session instead of 2.

I’m gonna move legs to this weekend if the toe is ok.
I simmered all of my beef for the meals I’m eating in bone broth. I heat it up and drink it occasionally.

Beef is ground beef but I simmer it in kettle and fire bone broth when I cook it. Liquid evaps and the collagen stays with the beef.

That’s what the kettle and fire is. A store bought bone broth. Also has a little apple cider vinegar in there as well. Really nice if you don’t feel like making your own. Always try to keep some in the pantry.

Will do. Mostly in the winter I like to drink it hot to warm up. Def gettin cold round these parts. Supposed to be another later this week.

i've tried kettle and fire before. the only downside is they add onions/garlic to their broth. which tends to irritate the stomach lining.

I'm hoping to hit legs on saterday. I can at least do extensions and leg curls. Should have no issue with RDL either.
Have to play by ear on the squat. maybe just go light and push off heal. We will see.

Right now my last meal is just protein. Only about 30g berries so I’m not even counting that. I don’t wanna put any carbs in that meal right now.
I might just eat some sliced turkey tonight and then cook some chicken to snack on or something along those lines going forward.
Ideally I would cook some egg whites but I just haven’t felt like cooking at night. Makes it a chore.

Toe is bending good but feels like a bunched up sock is under it when i put pressure on it. Prob nerve damage.

on the Toe you really should take 3 days off training completely give your body time to recover sat/sun/mon

I was eating cottage cheese before i switched to the yogurt. Gonna be sliced turkey for a bit. I'm sure i'll get sick of that soon. For that meal it's closer to bed and i'm usually tired so the less prep i need to do the better.
 
Fried egg sandwich with cheese and bacon could also hold you over.
Would be way too many cals. That meal is around 240cals. Could just eat some egg beaters and cheese as well but i just really don't wanna cook food at night. I got 4lbs of sliced turkey. I'll eat that for now. Even while building i need to be on point with the diet. I put on fat very quickly.
 
Maybe u need to adjust cals on some of the other meals so you can get a meal higher in fat before bed. I've always been in the belief that the highest fat meal should be the one before bed so your body digests the meal slower allowing constant protein delivery all night long.
I hear ya. Maybe I’ll drop the eggs for egg whites meal1 and move the fats to meal7. Was doing the 2% yogurt but now just the chicken. I’ll get it squared away.

Need a new meal7. Not enjoying the yogurt for some reason.
May just have a 3rd shake although i would rather have real food. Any suggestions?

Prob gonna lose the nail though. Hoping it will just grow out intact.
 
I got half my nail on little toe. I don't know what to think as it's not growing back.
This happened to me on the other foot a couple years back. I had bare feet and a trailer hitch fell off a shelf. Lost that nail and it kept in growing as it came back. Was a nightmare for about six months. Hoping it’s not gonna happen again.
