Monstro has passed?

I only saw his name pop up a few times here, then saw some of the amounts of gear he was running. The autopsy report (if released) will be damning on his organs I'm sure.

They also released Neil Curries cause of death recently, being meth and cocaine OD. No good
Its not really a surprise as the amount of gear he was using was more than the average Olympia competitor I am sure. 5 grams of steroids on top of 20IU GH and 200mcg IGF-1 LR3 daily. He was also on clen and god knows what else. I am sure he had massive stroke. Feel sorry for his wife.

Here was his stack in his log.

Test E 2100mg week
Tren 1400mg week
Masteron 1400mg week
Winstrol oral100mg day
Superdrol 30mtg day
T4 100mncg day
t3 12,5mcg day
Clenbuterol 120mch day
Proviron 50mg day ( maybe 100 ? )
Exemestano 25mcg day
Raloxifen 60mg day
Dostinex 0,25mcg 2x week
HGH 10ius before bed and 10ius fasted morning
IGF 200ius pre workout
Humalog
Telmisartan 8mg day
Ursafalk ( liver protect)

This is all a result of trying to win at all costs. The problem is he never hardly competed in anything worth while. A true mental disorder IMO.

I have no words, that's mental

Unfortunately this is true.

A lot of people didn't like his opinions on stuff but he was a valuable member of our evo team so he will be missed.

Mobster and I have been reaching out to his friends/family the past few days but it looks like he has passed away from a heart attack at an expo in Europe over the weekend.. he was only in his mid 40's so its tragic

he was on all that and a few more things and others are doing the same.

he wanted to look like a monster and a beast and he did.

if you want to abuse steroids then make sure you have a very strong will in place along with beneficiaries because your lifespan will be shortened greatly. i've been saying this for years but the 'i will do what i want' crowd thinks they know better

Surely running that amount of compounds you have the foresight to know you are at a substantially higher risk of dying everyday. I assume you would have to just accept that if you wanted to continue. Did he ever discuss his rationale the justification for running so much gear at a detriment to his health?

i discussed it with him many times. the more you push people one way they more they push back.

i interviewed bostin loyd 3x on my podcast, i also talked to him many times off the podcast and we would email quite a bit. he loved talking about this stuff and loved bodybuilding. he told me straight up ' i don't want to see my bloodwork' so essentially he put his head in the sand.
there is a very low amount of trust in the bodybuilding world for science and medicine. this is why so many bodybuilders end up like Bostin where they are told by their doctors to stop the shit but they don't listen. they think the doctors are 'trying to prevent their gains' or some other nonsense.

What was his response to the negative consequences?

Can you share the link, would be interested in watching. I'm reasonably young (early 30s) and on TRT. I've sprinkled var and Proviron in out of curiosity so no real cycles. I cannot imagine not getting regular bloodwork in my circumstances let alone if I was blasting ungodly amounts of gear.

My assumption is that the win at all costs mentality combined with the possibility that if you got bloods that were horrific you would be forced to cut your cycle short (knowing how bad the bloods are) so their rationale is not to get bloods so you don't know, therefore not required to cut the cycle short.

the same responses i get when i used to attempt to talk to people on facebook about anything regarding diet, steroids, bodybuilding etc.

"steve you are just listening to the media and govt, its not true, it won't happen to me, i know more then the doctors" etc. same shit that bodybuilders think. its the attitude of "i have bigger muscles then you so I know more then you" mentality. its impossible to reason with someone like that man

its the same thing as a rookie NFL player who doesn't listen to his coach because the coach isn't as fast or muscular as him. those players end up washing out and being busts for a reason. just because someone doesn't have brilliant genetics doesn't mean they have no clue. the top cardiologists in the world don't look like a bodybuilder, but you damn well better listen to them if you get a heart attack.

This is exactly why I don't believe in harsh cycles. I always look to take the least amount possible for the gains. The fact he said he never got bloodwork was a dead giveaway he didn't care at all about his health. Selfish people don't care in the bodybuilding world it seems. Its even worse when you see people claim they are peaking in their mid 20's. Maybe they should have a real gut check on how they train first before going on the sauce. Most people don't train properly. There is no reason why you cant gain naturally until your in your mid to late 30's or even 40's. Lots of people do.

This is sad he just left comments on my logs just two days ago and now he is gone, I won't speak ill of the dead, like him or not he was a valuable member of our community and went out doing something he absolutely loved.

This is a huge wake-up call for everyone, personally 1 gram or under for my cycles I won't ever go ant higher I don't see the point, just more risk more sides or early death.

700-1000mg is more than enough for anyone, if I compete and I can't beat guys who are running more than me, atleast I can say I did my best and had the courage to stand on stage and give it my all win or lose.

I also believe in running the milder compounds and utilizing more diet than anything.

Yes its going to be weird not having him around as he posted on my wife's and my log almost everyday.

I'm really sad after reading that news he just posted on my logs 2 days ago and now he is gone, it's just surreal, it's even more haunting is you mentioned over training on my log and how monstro was on grams of gear and how him and I can't train the same an then he passed away. It's truly sad no matter how u look at it. I will miss that guy he was outspoken and stuck to his guns and I respect that about him.

The best thing is he died doing what he loved the most. I guess if its going to happen that is the way. Hopefully he's up above watching down and keeping us safe from making a mistake of overdoing it. At least I know I am not thinking about going big like he does. I hope its a major wakeup call to others. I know you know that I am against larger doses. I think we both are on the same page. And yes it does suck to lose someone on a message board even if you never met them in person.

I got emotional when I read the article, we may not meet in real life or hang out in person for me I care about all of you and you all are my friends and have made a bug impact on my life, this is the place I come to talk with everyone and laughed well as learn and I value my time and talking with everyone. I don't party I don't go out I don't do any of that, so this for me is like a place of peace with us all being on the journey together just at different points.

Yes we are on the same page with the doses and cycles, I will always use milder compounds, lower doses and keep diet and my health at the forefront. I can't deny the fact even at low doses I still worry about my long term health, that is why I run alot of bloodwork I would rather know then not, I can't take care of myself if I don't know.

My cut off is 700mg-1000mg no higher than that, after reading what happened with monstro I might just keep my cycle at 740mg the whole time and call it a day.

He did love what he was doing and I respect he lived life on his terms and was able to become a pro. I hope his wife will heal in time and be OK.

I'm giving myself 5 years with cycles if I can't achieve any level of success my the time I'm 40 then I'm put of thr cycle game, other than trt and maybe some anavar ot sarms I'm done at that point, just might not be worth the risk as I get older if I can make it into the pro level.

Moral of the story is to check bloodwork before starting a cycle. Heck I even check my blood pressure a few times a day and blood sugars. At least I know whats going on. I scares me to think there are people out there that are too scared to want to know what is happening to them so they don't check.

It Is a plague of a problem brother, I can't not know what is going on or happening, I like to face things head on in life, if I'm taking a risk by utilizing these compounds, damn right I'm running bloodwork multiple times a year and even when it's just trt I still do it.

Ok so I'm not the only one with the chest thing when it happens rare but randomly lol.

If you are using AAS you need a great cardiologist PERIOD. Be proactive not reactive
That's what I did and had all my CT scans and heart scanning done late last year.

@SFDom415 shared this with me after finding out about monstros unfortunate and sad passing, SF asked me to share this with all of you on this post, I think this is very classy from SF and a beautiful send off for the big guy in the sky.

SF made this for him.

Another thing need to mention is that his cruising dosage is much higher than trt, so when we cruising we need to make sure the dose is low enough and every health marker is on point

Yeah I always drop back into 150mg a week trt nothing else after my cycles are over and run bloods

As Stevesmi said we'd been reaching out to friends etc for days. One issue was that he had had two Instagram accounts and one had been hacked some time ago. Meaning the one which announced his death could well have been the hacked one. And we have previously seen, among others, Victor Richards announced as dead when he's very much alive. We did not want to get the matter of his death wrong.

Indications to the cause are that he had a heart attack. I'd pass comment on the cause of Neil Curries death. His parents, according to the Sun, blamed the steroids and NOT his OD'ing on speed and coke as per the autopsy. In Monstro's case he did have pre-existing medical issues which had effected him greatly when he was young.

I'm with RoidRage when it comes to what I feel are excessive amounts of PEDs. Almost all of Monstro's cycles in recent years exceeded 5g (5000mg) in just AAS. An excess of AAS does not kill you in and of itself. You cannot inject a load today and die within hours. It IS, however, a long term issue. If you have poor health, stay on too long, push the diet to an extreme and walk around at a super low bodyfat for YEARS then you are stressing the body. And that's just the AAS.

I've often disagreed with the 'message' his habits put out to those more easily influenced. We have had our back and forth on that many times. Equally, I've also said he was a PRO. I've enjoyed working at several fitness type expos and I KNOW that Monstro did as many as I have and more. One such event had a 20-foot tall banner and he worked HARD and enjoyed several collabs with big name companies. There are videos on his Insta where he talked to some of the legends of the sport. You can see he fkin LOVED what he was doing. And that can often be all we can ask - to die doing what we loved. F**k if I die squatting a 1000lbs stick more weight on.

We might not always have seen eye to eye, and I wished he'd have used less PEDs but equally we started to to see more that we had in common recently (see X-Steroids for several back and forths). He WILL be missed.

RIP Monstro.

Well said

I would like to know what happened to him
seems weird that he would just have a heart attack out of nowhere
and it's very scary

Dylan should do a tribute video for Monstro
Dylan has a lot to learn from a great man like Monstro about treating others the way you should be treated

Monstro always respected honesty
At least he was open about his cycles and wasn't a liar

I have more respect for monstro because he did what he needed to do to achieve his dreams
some people live to 70 and never accomplished a thing he accomplished a lot

This is very sad. RIP my friend. Your will be missed

This is very sad news but it should serve as a wake up to all of the kids who idealized him and took mostly bad advice he gave.
He will be missed.
No doubt about it. 22 year Olds wanting to ruin gram of test 750mg tren 800mg masteron 1000mg eq. You are punishing your organs and body. You won't grow any faster. I have ran 2.5gram a week when I was young. Grow just as fast on a gram. It's not needed

If, as we know they do, bodybuilders use diuretics, they are at more risk then than they are for short term use of AAS. They can mess with your heart beat. The desire to get into shape can be so bad, esp if you mistime your peak for the one day you need to be dry as a bone, can lead to you pushing your body. Several female athletes have, with bad advice from coaches, been hospitalized.

Depends if management is around though. I doubt I’ve had 8 hours sleep since 1982. lol

Couple more members have done something to mark his passing too.
i'm gonna catch a big fish for monstro this weekend cause i know he liked to eat fish on his island

Damn I hate to hear that I really do.

Its not really a surprise as the amount of gear he was using was more than the average Olympia competitor I am sure. 5 grams of steroids on top of 20IU GH and 200mcg IGF-1 LR3 daily. He was also on clen and god knows what else. I am sure he had massive stroke. Feel sorry for his wife.

Here was his stack in his log.

Test E 2100mg week
Tren 1400mg week
Masteron 1400mg week
Winstrol oral100mg day
Superdrol 30mtg day
T4 100mncg day
t3 12,5mcg day
Clenbuterol 120mch day
Proviron 50mg day ( maybe 100 ? )
Exemestano 25mcg day
Raloxifen 60mg day
Dostinex 0,25mcg 2x week
HGH 10ius before bed and 10ius fasted morning
IGF 200ius pre workout
Humalog
Telmisartan 8mg day
Ursafalk ( liver protect)

This is all a result of trying to win at all costs. The problem is he never hardly competed in anything worth while. A true mental disorder IMO.
Holy shit, that reads like the Andi Munzer "death cycle" that was doing the rounds in the early 2000s

RIP bro

He’s amaxing and so nice and funny. Now I’m really sad. 😭

Damn this is sad. I always used to laugh in my head when I would see how he would do refer to himself in the 3rd person.
That was my favorite thing. So likable

Damn, just reading through my log and remembered Monstro told me he hated deca and bulking steroids, then told me he liked I was getting cardio in.

Didn't interact with the dude at all but feel kind of privileged that he took the time to read through my stuff and offer feedback.
It's what champs do.

That's one of the many things u can say about him, he always took the time for reading and commenting.

I feel good and motivated when anyone takes time for my log and comments it means alot to me.

Hell even a like motivates me to keep pushing and give my very best.

Speaking on monstro the fact he was a pro and took time for a nobody aspiring bodybuilder who works out at planet fitness, that spoke volumes for me, the fact he always made time to say something positive on my updates.

Support is the best thing we have in this community when you compare us and other forums, it's not even close it truly is something special we have here with our members and staff.

Thanks for these BroBros!! You can see in his face that’s really a very nice humble man with a good spirit now I’m really sad. This is a person you would def want to be friends with.

I just heard the news. :(
The past month has been so busy and I’m a bit embarrassed that I didn’t notice this sooner. Listening to the podcast right now.
I’m still very new to the community and so I didn’t know him well. But I can say that Monstro was always very kind and uplifting to me. He offered advice, gave positive feedback and helped to keep me motivated on my very first cycle log. I’m thankful that he was willing to take the time out of his day to be kind to a newbie like myself. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.
